"Huh?"
A collective gasp resounded throughout the hall. Even though the Clone ability was super rare, it was still considered the most useless. There was nothing one could do with the ability. At most, they would be able to create clones of themselves. Even if they did create clones of themselves. They wouldn't be able to cast any destructive spell to fight and could only wait to be slaughtered. Besides, all the clones created would be ordinary. At most, he could only become an average person in the future and waste his life away doing some menial jobs. He was a disgrace to his elder sister and parents. The principal and other staff who were present shook their heads in disappointment. What good was it for them to have such trash in their school. They would only become a laughing stock. At this moment, the principal made up his mind to expel Elijah right after the ceremony; he was not going to have such trash in his school. Elijah stared back at the principal fearlessly. Shook his head and turned around to leave. Immediately he walked out, chatter broke out as everyone started whispering to each other. "He's such a disgrace. He didn't even manage to awaken a useful element!" "If I was the one, I'd go and commit suicide as I wouldn't be able to face anyone." Elijah sighed as he walked back home. Opening the door, he saw his sister sitting on the sofa waiting for him. Immediately Emily heard the door open, she turned around and looked at Elijah. A a bright smile plastered on her face as she asked excitedly, "What ability did you awaken?" "The clone ability," Elijah muttered walking toward his room not sparing his sister even a glance. "Huh?" Emily froze hearing what Elijah said. A feel of disappoinment arose in her heart. After a while, she came back to her senses. But Elijah was no longer there. Immediately, she ran towards his room, but the door was locked. "Elijah, open the door." Emily yelled pounding on the door. "No sister, I want to be alone for now," Elijah replied, refusing to open the door. "Just open the door," Emily sighed as she tried to persuade. "No sister, I want to be alone, leave me alone," Elijah refused, his voice sounding rather rude. Emily sighed and didn't say anything. She could understand her brother's feelings and just wanted to console him. No matter how useless the ability he had awakened was, he was still her brother and nothing was going to change that position in her heart. After thinking for a while, she decided to let him be. She was sure that he was going to come around soon. Then she would be able to console him and reassure him that she wasn't in any way disappointed. Elijah on the other hand sighed as he lay on the bed looking at the ceiling. What the hell was happening? He had thought that he was going to awaken a destructive ability, but in the end, he had awakened the clone ability. How was this supposed to help him? He wanted to be unrestrained in this life. He wanted to be the most powerful and wouldn't have to be tied to any kind of rules. But it seemed like all his dreams were all for naught. Besides, wasn't he supposed to awaken a golden finger? Like a system or something? In the stories he had read, all the main characters had awakened a golden finger after something like this. Seemed like his luck was terrible. After a while, Elijah sighed and sat up, instead of brooding, he was going to see how the ability worked. He would see how the ability would help him. There was no way he was going to agree to be mediocre. Elijah sat crossed legs and began to circulate his mana. At first the circulation was slow, but soon, it became fast as the mana moved from his Mana core to all parts of his body. In no time, Elijah felt exhausted as the mana in his body which was very little to begin with was exhausted and he could go no more. Panting as though he had just run a race, he opened his eyes. Huh? Elijah froze as he looked at his side. By his side was another figure that looked exactly like him. Elijah alighted from his bed slowly and scrutinized the with a narrowed eye. He hadn't expected to produce a clone just by circulating his mana. Besides, his mana was so small that it was only able to produce just one. Thinking like this, Elijah immediately sat on the bed, crossed his legs, and started to absorb the surrounding mana into his body. He wanted to see if he would be able to create another clone after absorbing enough mana into his body. After about an hour, Elijah opened his eyes. Much to his shock, the clone in front of him was also sitting cross-legged, absorbing mana just like he was. Just as Elijah was staring at the clone, the clone slowly opened its eyes. "I..." "Puff..." A low puffing sound came interrupting Elijah just as he was about to say something The next moment, the clone disappeared. "What the fuck!" Elijah cursed as he wasn't expecting this. But the next moment, he froze as he felt a warm stream of energy flow into his body, adding to the mana inside his Mana core, but at the moment, the mana was too much and the space in his Mana core was unable to hold it. "Crack!" A loud cracking sound suddenly resounded in Elijah's ears, and immediately he felt extremely comfortable, at the same time, the space in his Mana core which was located just right below his abdomen became larger. A small mana Seed finally sprouted.

Fighting The Phyton
"Damn it!" Fang Yuan cursed while rolling away from the spit, at the same time chanting his spell."Wind Swords!""Boom!"At the other end, Elijah was sent flying by the massive tail and he hit the wall and couldn't help but groan in pain."Boss, quick, your fire spell, I can't see anymore," Fang Yuan yelled, as Elijah's fireball disappeared after he was sent flying by the Snake's tail."Multiple fireballs," Elijah chanted, knowing well his fireballs were the only source of light in this extremely dark cave.If they wanted to survive, then he would have to keep it up. Thinking for a moment, he circulated his mana, and ten clones appeared by his side."We have to overwhelm this thing," Elijah commanded, glancing at his clones."You, keep up the fire spell so we'll not lose the light," Elijah said, pointing randomly at one of his clones."As for the rest, five of us would be using the fireball spell, while the rest would use the lightning spell," Elijah instructed."Blackie, come over h
In Trouble For Their Obstinacy
Walking into the cave, the two strained their eyes, trying to make out the cave. But it was all dark; no matter how hard they tried, they couldn't even see their own fingers. But the two remained obstinate and continued to walk forward, using Blackie whose eyes were glowing as a guide. After walking for who knows how long, Blackie suddenly stopped, growling into the distance while its eyes were fixated on a spot.Elijah and Fang Yuan could feel Blackie's body trembling, but it continued to growl stubbornly, refusing to give in.The pattering of little rocks scattering wildly all over further intensified their fears, alongside Blackie who was growling stubbornly and shaking like a leaf on the spot."Don't you have a torch?" Elijah turned to Fang Yuan, asking with urgency all over his tone."I do have," Fang Yuan nodded and hurriedly dipped his hands into his backpack fishing for the torch."Here," He breathed in a sigh of relief and pulled out a torch from his backpack."Hurry, switch
The Excited Fatty
(A Month Later)"Boss, I'm afraid I can't hold on any longer," Fang Yuan panted as sweat covered his forehead, his hands outstretched, swords made out of wind shot out endlessly, impaling an incoming beast.Though the beast's body was bloody, filled with holes from the wind swords, it didn't seem to care and continued to rush forward seemingly unhindered by the swords impaling its body each second."Alright," Elijah, who was standing by the side, nodded and turned to Blackie by the side."Up to you," He smiled, patting the wolf.Instantly, Blackie's body enlarged, and it dashed toward the incoming beast while Fang Yuan stopped his spells heaving heavily as he was out of mana."That took quite a toll on me," Fang Yuan gasped, collapsing on the floor."But it was worth it, at least you've finally mastered the wind swords spell," Elijah smiled faintly, patting the fatty's shoulder. It had been a month since they were in the wilderness. The two had grown considerably stronger.Low-level S
Cowards!
Immediately Elijah's words fell, a baleful aura filled the place and Blackie's size began to increase until it was the size of a towering small mountain."Huh?" The leader of the men froze, staring at Blackie, his eyes wide open as though they would fall off their sockets. His legs trembled, and sweat covered his face. The sound of his heart beating violently against his chest could be heard while his face twisted in horror.Who would have expected that thing to be a real beast? A mid-level Soldier beast for that matter. What the heck was happening? Weren't the two supposed to be just some stupid, rich young masters roaming around in the wilderness? How did they have a mid-level Soldier beast as a pet?"Run!"The leader of the men yelled all of a sudden, turning around and running as far as his legs could carry him.The others also didn't waste time and immediately scrambled away, nor daring to look at Elijah.Just Blackie alone was enough to pose a threat to their lives, not to talk
Land F*e
(The Next Day)"Here's the chant for my Wind swords spell," Alex handed Fang Yuan a paper."But..." The fatty stuttered, trying to refuse, his face flushed."There's no need for you to refuse, we are both wind mages, so you'll definitely need more attack spells," Alex comforted, still pushing the paper into Fang Yuan's hands."Fine," Fang Yuan had no other choice but to accept the paper. Even if he wanted to refuse it, there was no way he could."Good," Alex grinned then walked towards Elijah,"We'll be taking our leave now. There's a lot we need to do, so we'll be returning back to the city first. What about you?""I still want to venture a bit into the Wilderness," Elijah shrugged, putting on his backpack."Alright then, this would be our last meeting. I don't know where we will meet again," Alex chuckled."We'll be taking our leave," He added and then turned around walking away slowly."We'll meet again Elijah," Natasha waved at Elijah before hurriedly following Alex. The others ba
You Owe Me A Favour
"Here's your share Elijah," Alex smiled, giving two of the Spiritvine fruit to Elijah. After resting for a while, Alex crossed to the other side of the stream, plucked the fruit, and then disturbed it amongst them."But I thought we agreed I wouldn't get anything," Elijah frowned slightly, refusing to take the fruit from Alex.Though he needed it as he was sure with the help of the fruit, he would be able to break into the next realm, he still didn't dare to take it."I was just joking. What I taught you was just a normal thing a mage should know, so count it as me doing you a favor," Alex shrugged, shoving the fruits into Elijah's hands."Then I'll have to pay back the favor in the future," Elijah frowned slightly, still not wanting to accept the fruit from Alex."I wouldn't force that on you," Alex chuckled, walking over to Fang Yuan also giving him two of the fruits. The disdain he had for the latter in his heart had also vanished. If it was not for his timely action which had dire
Defeating The Dragon
Hearing Alex's command, the group hurriedly circulated their mana, wanting to protect their ears, but it was already a bit too late. The flood dragon's sonic roar had already bypassed their defense, getting into their ears and causing them to bleed. At the same time destabilizing them while they staggered backward.Elijah was the only one who felt a bit better. He was able to use his physical strength to blood the effects of the roar.Blackie also had blood flowing down its eyes and ears. The golem was directly shattered by the force of the sonic wave.Josh was also not affected. Since all of his body was made of metal, the sonic sound was blocked out by it. Of course, this was because it was a dragon's roar from a young flood dragon.Immediately the flood dragon regained its freedom; it roared once again, increasing the blood flood of the group and causing them to stagger once again.Though they had protected their ears with their mana, it didn't seem to be enough. Elijah was also af
Intense Fight
"Boom!"A loud sound resounded throughout the whole place. The force sent the flood dragon flying and rolling on the floor, which kicked up dust and gravel. At the same time, the recoil shook Elijah, forcing him to stagger backward while holding his arms which felt numb. The force just now had almost shattered his bones. He didn't expect the scales of the dragon to be so strong, so the recoil was not simple either."Elijah!" Alex and the others called, rushing towards Elijah who had staggered backwards.Though they didn't see Elijah's clone, they saw him punching the flood dragon, which was what gave them enough time to stabilize and rush to his aid."I'm fine," Elijah shook his head, flexing his arm, trying to reduce the pain.At that moment, Blackie had also approached them and was still standing in front of the group, blaring its fangs at the Flood dragon fearlessly."What do we do about this beast?" Natasha broke the silence, her eyes darting around."We can't possibly run. We can
Dragon Roar!
Immediately Elijah moved, the flood dragon also moved; its powerful tail slapped the water below it, forming a huge wall that blocked the whip.Elijah frowned slightly, then retracted the thunder whip. But just as he was about to brandish it again, a huge figure had already descended before him.Opening its large mouth, the flood dragon bit down, intending to swallow Elijah at once.Blackie, by Elijah's side, howled, seeing its master was about to get eaten, and thus rushed forward. The flood dragon's tail also moved, slapping blackie away with a powerful force.Dust and gravel kicked up into the sky as Blackie hit the floor, unable to control the force which sent it flying. As this happened, it also gave Elijah some time to react to the largemouth, though everything happened in an instant. Moving to the side to avoid the largemouth, the tail of the flood dragon, which had just slapped away Blackie, moved towards Elijah."Shit!"Elijah cursed quickly, dispelling the spell, and crosse
