Since Fred could barely talk, he stared at Francis

“Now real men settle things quietly. The next time you desire my wife, be ready to die.” Francis pointed at him.

Andrew sneered, “Take this thing out of here.”

After the men threw Fred out, Andrew approached Francis and whispered.

“What else will you have me do?”

“Nothing much. Ensure my identity remains a secret.” Francis winked at him and walked out.

“As you please,” Andrew gave a nod.

Lilian looked at Drake. “Could the Carl live-in-son-in-law sort this out?”

“I don't think so, maybe he has done a great thing for Mr. Andrew, and Andrew used this avenue to repay him.” Drake said.

Francis was waiting by the roadside for a taxi when a vehicle came to a halt before him.

Walking out of the car was a young man clad in military attire.

“Henry!”

Francis widened his eyes.

“Field Marshal Francis. Good day sir.”

Five years ago was the last time Francis saw Henry. They were platoon members when he carried out a short service with the military without the knowledge of his family members at BIU Plains.

BIU Plains was a neighbouring town, a few kilometres away from Kentic City.

Within a short period, he rose from just a common soldier to the rank of a Field Marshal.

The week he was supposed to receive the badge as a field Marshal was the week he fell to the scheme of a conspiracy.

That left Francis emotionally demoralized. He couldn't think straight and ended up roaming on the street.

He was helped by aunt Anna and eventually turned into a live-in-son-in-law.

“Why are you in Kentic City?” Francis asked, his surprise evident.

“Six months ago, the Feral king was transferred to this city with some soldiers too. I am part of them. He gave me the task of looking for you.”

“Why are you looking for me?” Francis queried.

“He has been critically ill after he was attacked at a warfront. He needs your help.” Henry said calmly.

Francis heaved. “Take me to the Feral King.”

Francis was highly knowledgeable in medicine. His martial and medical skills made him respected in BIU Plains.

He had to forgo all these skills because of the pains he went through emotionally but not any longer!

Francis and Henry were now seated in the car and they soon arrived at the Feral Mansion.

Everything about Feral mansion was elegant. There were soldiers guiding the the house. Immediately they saw Francis, they widened their eyes in surprise before standing at attention to salute.

Francis saluted back.

In one of the bedrooms, a middle-aged man who was on the bed and fast asleep looked helpless and feeble.

Francis went closer and placed his hand on the man's forehead, trying to check his body temperature.

“He is in a very critical state. Can you treat him?” Henry spoke.

“Yes. He believes I can and that's why he sent you to look for me.” Francis replied.

Francis continued, “Get me a first aid box and ensure silver needles are available.”

Soon a box was placed before him.

Francis took off the Feral king clothes and loose all the surgical stitches on his body.

He mixed some substances and applied it all over his body.

Next he inserted silver needles at four points.

“How long will it take for him to recover?” Henry asked.

“Three days.” Francis replied. “He should be awake anytime soon.”

“This is goodnews.” Henry smiled brightly.

An hour later.

Slowly, the Feral king opened his eyes. For months he couldn't move his legs and hands without getting a support, but he just did.

“How do you feel Feral king?” Francis asked.

“I feel better,” he managed to reply. Looking up, he locked gaze with Francis.

“Francis where have you been?” Feral king questuoned.

“It's a long story.” Francis responded.

“I am so delighted to see you. Though you were absent on the day of the ceremony, you have been given the title as the Crimson Dragon.”

Francis was shocked to hear this. On every sides, he was receiving goodnews.

He had just been restored as the heir of his family now he is the Crimson Dragon!

Feral King went on to list all the benefits attached and that he now has access to the Crimson Villa.

Other information would be sent to his email.

“You should rest well.” Francis advised the Feral king. He gave him some instructions to follow so his healing process can be fast too.

After that, Francis walked out of the building and Henry followed after him.

“Field Marshal!” Henry stood before him.

“Did anything come up?”

“You deserve to know this.” Henry handed a document to Francis. “It contains everything behind the conspiracy against you and the truth about your parents death.”

“Really?” Francis asked with a darkened expression.

Francis flipped through the documents

Pa Gad only son and his wife were poisoned and sent to earlier grave by their enemies who had plotted against their son, Francis.

They did this because they were after the wealth and knowledge that runs in the Gad's family. They took all their companies away.

This occurrence left Pa Gad heartbroken. To protect his life he had to maintained a low life and used his savings to buy companies and brands secretly and wouldn't change the names. He was so scared to investigate the matter because of numerous threats. He also published a fake news that he was dead.

Francis frowned and stared at the document. “I had laid low because I didn't want to use my skills again. Been the Crimson Dragon doesn't mean I will become ruthless. However, those behind the conspiracy that left my life in chaos and killed my parents will pay with their lives. Their generation will also pay!”

Henry offered to drive Francis to his destination but Francis refused.

Henry saluted and said. “If you need me, I am just a call away. You have the support of us all.”

Francis saluted him and left.

While in the taxi, Francis heart was boiling with revenge.

He whispered. My soul thirst for vengeance. My parents, my family must get the justice they deserve. Rasiers, Laviers, and Kimberly, I will destroy you all and make your death slow and painful.

Destroying his enemies will be an easy one. No one could withstand Francis' wrath. These families were in for an uncontrollable pain.

For hours, Jacelyn remained in her room. Her eyes were swollen, an evidence that she had been crying. Francis went to the door, placed his head on it and said. “Jace, you’ve been in there for a long time. I understand how you feel but let me in. Other great opportunities will come again, your family do not worth your tears and worries.” Soon the door knob turned and Jacelyn allowed him in. “Francis, I feel terrible. Great opportunities? What opportunities can be greater than this one that I have lost with Celestial Brand and now, I am also jobless. My Mom will make life unbearable for me.” “I have heard enough, I’ll bring your food now or you have to divorce and marry one of the men your Mom wants for you.” Francis laughed. “Do I blame you? Of course not!” Jacelyn smiled and watched him leave the room. In a jiffy Francis was back with the tray containing her food. Slowly, she ate. Francis watched her closely. Inwardly he said. ‘For your tears and swollen eyes, your fami

Very early the next day. Thompson and Keren arrogantly walked into Paul's house. “Where is Jacelyn? She should bring the documents. We don't want to be late for the meeting at Celestial Brand.” Keren uttered, with pride evident in her tone. Paul, who was seated in the sitting room, remained quiet. “Jacelyn,” Thompson screamed. Just then Clara approached and stood akimbo. “You can't be screaming here. Do I have to remind you that this is not your house?” “Whatever!” Thompson uttered. Keren couldn't help but giggle. “You call this a house? If only you had enjoyed luxury for a day then you'll know better.” Clara parted her lips slightly in readiness to utter a word but was interrupted by Jacelyn. “Here is the contract, all the best.” Jacelyn handed the contract to Thompson. “It's a good thing that you are not stubborn. I might consider talking to grandpa to give you a job at the company even if it's just being a clerk.” Thompson uttered with a sly smile. Jacelyn was still
