[Would the host like to check out the storage dimension now?]

‘Absolutely!’ Ronan exclaimed, his eyes lighting up.

Almost immediately, the system interface vanished, and Ronan felt himself being pulled through a strange, twisting passage.

The sensation lasted barely a second, but when it ended, Ronan was completely disoriented. Nausea churned in his stomach as he fought it back.

‘This… What just happened?’

He finally opened his eyes, and the sight before him left him speechless.

*****Ronan drove straight to Kade after leaving the police station. The moment Kade saw his condition, he stared in utter disbelief, momentarily forgetting to close his mouth.“Mr. Ashmore, shouldn't you still be receiving treatment at the hospital?” he asked, his gaze sweeping over Ronan's battered body. “How are you even managing to move around like this?”Ronan could only manage a wry smile. He would have preferred to remain in the hospital and recover properly as well, but with only twenty days left before the apocalypse, he didn’t have the luxury. Every hour mattered now.“Here are the next futures trades.” He handed Kade the sheet of paper he had prepared.Kade accepted it with the reverence of a man receiving a priceless gift, but even then, his attention kept drifting back to Ronan's injuries.“Honestly, Mr. Ashmore, it would have been a blessing if you could get your hands on the Panacea Serum.”Ronan raised an eyebrow. “The Panacea Serum?”“Hmm.” Kade nodded, only to realiz

  • Chapter 053 – The Frosts’ Next Scheme

*****Once they were far enough away that the others would struggle to hear them, Varek lowered his voice.“Brother Rael, you know you weren’t completely in the wrong, right?”Rael hesitated.“Are you sure?” he asked, frowning. “You told me to let Brother Axe handle the situation, but I decided to show up myself because I thought that bastard couldn't do anything to me.”Varek's temper flared.‘You idiot! Why would you bring up my involvement?’He glanced back. Joren and Helene were still consumed by their resentment toward Ronan, while Celeste remained inside the station handling the paperwork. Seeing that no one was close enough to overhear them, he lowered his voice.“Brother Rael, I hope you won't make me regret helping you. I did it because you're my future brother-in-law. I couldn't stand by and watch some nobody bully you without consequences.”Rael frowned. “Why would I make you regret it?”‘Because you have the brains of a rock,’ Varek nearly snapped, but he swallow

  • Chapter 052 – The Weakness in Ronan’s Preparation

*****Rael had never imagined that someone he considered beneath him could humiliate him so thoroughly.Ronan had already embarrassed him in public at the restaurant. Now, he had gone further, getting him arrested and exposing his brutality with irrefutable evidence.Rael clenched his teeth so hard that his jaw ached. “This isn't over,” he growled, glaring at Ronan with enough hatred to suggest he wanted to tear him apart. “You hear me? It isn't over!”Ronan gave him a dismissive look. ‘This bastard still hasn't learned when to back down.’He merely smirked, his expression carrying a silent warning. ‘You won't be so lucky next time.’With that. he turned and staggered toward his truck, feeling the Frosts' furious glares follow him. Even with the evidence laid bare, they still blamed him for their humiliation.‘What a joke.’Ronan sat behind the wheel but didn't start the engine. For a while, he remained still, thinking about how easily the situation could have ended differentl

  • Chapter 051 – Success at Last

*****Despite Celeste’s desperation, Ronan merely stood beside her with a faint, unconcerned smile. Her heart sank at his stance, and her fists tightened until her nails dug into her palms. She turned back to the sales representative, who was still waiting for her response. She hesitated.Refusing could jeopardize Rael's freedom and expose her family to the consequences of Ronan's complaint, but agreeing meant risking her own professional reputation. She resented Ronan for forcing her into such an impossible choice, yet she had little room to maneuver. Eventually, she sighed internally.“Yes. I'm certain.”The sales representative studied her for another moment, then nodded.“Under normal circumstances, we wouldn't release these items to every license holder. However, considering your professional standing and established reputation in the medical field, we're willing to authorize the order.”Ronan's breathing briefly hitched. ‘Success at last!’He quickly suppressed his excitement, k

  • Chapter 050 – Two Contrasting Emotions

*****Celeste flatly told Ronan to withdraw his complaint first. After all, he had already blackmailed her into submission.Ronan merely smirked. Given what he needed from her, he couldn't make Rael pay for his actions just yet. However, that didn't mean he intended to let the bastard off easily.“After you've fulfilled your end of the deal,” he replied casually.Celeste nearly exploded. “You... think I would go back on my word?”Ronan scoffed. “Could you, even if you wanted to?”Her retort died on her tongue. That was right. Even if she went back on her word, Ronan could submit the footage to the authorities without hesitation. He knew she had little choice but to comply, and he was making sure she understood it. Her brother's freedom and her family's reputation were both in his hands. She closed her eyes briefly, struggling to suppress the boiling rage inside her. She had never imagined that things between her and Ronan would deteriorate to this point, where even a simple conversati

  • Chapter 049 – A New Accusation

******Celeste took the paper and unfolded it, still unsure what to expect. However, the moment she saw the extensive list of medicines and medical supplies, along with the staggering quantities required, her mouth fell open in shock. Some of the items were readily available, while others required professional authorization or special handling.Unable to make sense of the order, she looked up at Ronan.“Why do you need all these? Are you planning to open your own pharmacy?”Ronan's expression remained impassive.“You don't need to know what I intend to do with them. Get everything on the list, and I'll withdraw my complaint against your brother.”Celeste studied the list again, searching for a reasonable explanation for such an unusual order.Perhaps Ronan had a business plan or intended to invest in a pharmaceutical venture. But if that was the case, why was he being so secretive about it? And why was he asking her to obtain the supplies through her medical credentials rather than ex
