2023-11-01 22:22:56Immediately Stephen had ordered a black SUV waiting outside and a Rolls-Royce with hefty guards dressed in black suit and tuxedo ready to take Jared out of the prison. Jared was taken out of the prison through the backdoor he was relieved to see in sunlight after a long while.
"Wow finally I am out, firstly I need to go to the hospital to see my godmother immediately" Jared ordered.
"As you wish young master" Steven replied as they drove to the hospital.
While on the way, Jared could not help but pray and hope that his godmother was still alive and he would be able to give her all the care and love she deserved in the whole world.
"Make the transfer payments available we will be paying as soon as we get to the hospital," Jared ordered
On getting to the hospital, Jared rushed quickly to the reception asking after his godmother
"Please, I am here to see my godmother Rosalyn. how is she feeling now?" Jared asked the nurse in charge.
The look on the nurse's face proved what Jared was scared of.
"I am sorry Mr Jared, your godmother passed away last night" the nurse replied.
"We tried and the money was not paid in full for the operation. You can make the necessary payment and take her body out from the mortuary" the nurse added.
Jared stood there for a while, trying to numb the pain he was feeling. The Harringtons did kill his godmother and he was too late. She is dead.
"Make all the necessary payments Joe and Steven make the necessary arrangements to take my godmother out for a proper burial" Jared ordered while still trying to hide his emotions.
"Young master, I am so sorry for your loss," Steven said, trying to console Jared.
"I will be fine when I have exacted my revenge on the Harrington's" Jared responded, heading to the mortuary to look at his godmother one last time.
"Mother, I will avenge your death. I promise" Jared said, taking one last look at his godmother's corpse.
"I need a change of clothes so I can head to the office," Jared said as they stepped out of the hospital.
"Make sure the burial is well taken care of. I have to deal with the Harrington's" Jared said as they left the hospital.
"Yes, boss. All be taken care of" Joe responded as Steven left the hospital with Jared.
"Who am I?" Jared asked on their journey to the Sinclair mansion.
"You are the last bloodline of the Sinclair family. When you passed out at the prison a unique symbol came out right at your neck and that is the only sign of the Sinclair bloodline" Steven explained.
"I still don't understand," Jared said, trying to understand what Steven was saying.
"Your father left a will before he died that we have to look for you no matter what and all these years we've been searching for you".
"Seeing you at the prison with that unique mark on your neck we knew you were the long-lost son of the Sinclair family."
"That was why you felt so energetic after you woke up. Sinclair 's blood is very unique and it possess special qualities. We are very happy when we found you in the prison and all the world's influence and power is waiting for you young master" Steven explained further.
"We are so sorry it took this long for us to find you, maybe, your godmother would have still been alive," Steven said feeling bad for not finding Jared sooner.
"It's fine Steven, it's not your fault. I understand, I am the long-lost Jared Sinclair. Wow!, I don't know how to feel about this but one thing I am certain of is my revenge on my enemies. it's showtime!."Jared responded.
The Sinclair mansion was nothing like what Jared had ever seen before, it was like heaven on earth.
The mansion was made of gold and marble with lights beaming brightly and the furniture exquisite, speaking loyalty and luxury. The guards were all bowing to Jared as he stepped into the mansion.
"You are welcome, young master." They all said in unison.
Jared felt flattered and happy knowing he was now truly the heir of the Sinclair family. Jared was shown the dressing room wearing different tuxedos that even the Harrington's had never won before in their lives.
The maids and the servants were all running at his beck and call ready to please and worship him. Jared had always heard of the legal Holdings conglomerate since his days in school, never in his wildest dream had he thought he would be the heir to such enormous wealth and power globally.
The Harrington family had always spoken about doing business with the legal holdings conglomerate and how they had wished they would just have one contract with them.
"Call Alexander I'll be coming to the company soon and tell her to prepare all the information about the Harrington" Jared ordered.
"She is awaiting your arrival young master" Steven replied.
"You are welcome boss, I have been awaiting your arrival," Alexander said as Jared stepped into the office.
"Have you prepared all the documents as I have requested?" Jared asked.
"Yes Boss, all the documents and information about the Harrington company are ready" Alexander responded.
"Let me have them." Jared requested.
"This is it Boss" Alexander handed the documents over to Jared.
"Wow!, I can see they have been trying to secure a contract with us for a long time" Jared said as he went through the documents.
"Yes Boss, they submitted the proposal a few months back with the Andrews company and we've decided to give them a contract. One of our businesses will be handled by them. Our business is spread across and beyond the whole of Aurora" Alexander explained.
"Good, I want you to terminate the contract with them immediately and find out all the information you can about Elena who is the only daughter of the Harrington family and her marriage to the Andrews" Jared ordered.
"Young master, may I ask you a question?" Alexander inquired.
"Sure, go ahead."
"Why would you want to terminate the contract with the Harrington family? they have been bidding for the past 10 years to get this contract good," Alexander asked.
"It's good to know they've been bidding for a long time which is why we will not be giving them the contract don't ask me any further questions about it" Jared ordered.
"Now I'm going to watch as they beg and lick my feet to beg for my mercy," Jared said.
