The final countdown had begun.

Jaylen adjusted the mic strapped to his jawline. Beads of sweat lined down his face. The warehouse-turned-stage was dimly lit, with strips of LED pulsing underfoot. A million people, maybe more were tuned into the livestream. Comments flickered like sparks beside his HUD.

“Jaylen gonna SAVE the culture.” This was the first comment.

“Drax is quaking for real.” This was the second comment.

“If he hits that 2nd verse clean, it’s game.” This was the second comment.

But Jaylen wasn’t reading the comments. His eyes were locked on the black-glass lens of the live drone hovering ahead. This wasn’t just a performance. To him, he was fighting a battle.

“System Alert: Z‑Stage Mode Lv1 Activated

Live Performance Enhancement Engaged: Visual Effect Sync, Lyric Transitions, Emotion Pulse Scanner Enabled.”

Suddenly, the stage bloomed to life.

Golden arcs of data shot across the floor like comet tails. Lyrics floated mid-air in soft panels, moving in real-time as Jaylen rapped. The warehouse backdrop warped, displaying a burning cityscape - a fractured kingdom rising behind him.

Then the beat dropped. Fractured Gold thundered across the stream.

Jaylen stepped forward. His voice came out like a blade, cutting into the track.

“From the ashes of the leak, I rise. Every byte you stole, now weaponized!”

The lyrics behind him burst into digital fire as the system reacted to the power in his voice. Flame trails followed his hands. His footsteps left echoing pulses on the floor like aftershocks.

…….

Jaylen wasn’t just singing, he was commanding the crowd with his voice.

Each verse synced with shifting visuals. The city burning, then rebuilding, and statues shattering, then reforming into his face. The second hook flipped everything, lights dimmed to black-and-white. Jaylen stood alone as a thunderstorm of comments exploded in the streams.

“HE’S POSSESSED.”

“This feels illegal to watch.”

“I’ve never seen anything like this…”

“System Alert: View Count – 1.12M and climbing…”

Meanwhile, Elijah Drax streamed from his high-end setup in a neon box of mirrors, rapping “Digital Messiah” with pyrotechnics and hired dancers.

But something was off. The numbers barely moved.

He knew it too and wondered why he wasn't moving. At one point, he couldn't contain it.

“Why the hell is his count flying?” Elijah growled, knocking over a speaker. “Boost the feed. I said, BOOST IT!”

But the bots weren’t working.

His secret weapon which was an army of automated viewer bots had mysteriously gone dead.

Jaylen's system buzzed.

“System Notification: Blackout Protocol Level 1 - Passive Phase Active

Effect: Suppresses Opponent Artificial Reach for 90 Minutes.”

Jaylen didn’t even realize it yet.

But his win wasn’t just performance-based. it was strategic. The Blackout Protocol, unlocked through his relentless grind and talent gain, had silently sabotaged Elijah’s artificial boost attempts.

While Elijah screamed at his engineers, Jaylen moved higher.

He entered the bridge of his final verse.

“Fame isn’t rented, it's earned in scars, I bled into bars, now I’m reaching the stars.”

The stage split into three holographic clones of himself, each rapping in perfect synchronization. Their voices were harmonizing into a chorus that felt larger than life.

The system pulsed again. “Emotion Pulse Rating: 97% – Peak Resonance Achieved.”

His fanbase felt it. The streets felt it. Even the doubters were converted.

Backstage, Noah and Trixx shouted over each other as the system counts updated live.

“Bro, he’s at 1.23 million!” A comment revealed.

“Elijah’s stuck at 689K… wait, no, 700K even!”

Ayra, teary-eyed, pressed a hand to her chest. “They’re not just hearing him, they believe in him.”

Meanwhile, in a distant studio across the city, a room full of execs watched in stunned silence.

“He doesn’t even have a label,” one muttered.

“He’s breaking the market... live.”

Jaylen powered into the final chorus. He went on his knees with a raw voice while he shut his eyes, putting how soul in the song.

“Broke me down, now I’m diamond-grade. You played games, I rewrote the arcade.”

With the last beat, the visuals shattered into golden code. The lights dimmed.

And there was a perfect silence that followed.

Then… the system buzzed.

“System Update: Stream Count – Jaylen: 1.4M | Elijah: 700K

Victory Confirmed: +15 Talent Points | Fame Level Up: Lv6 → Lv7

Z-System Update: Blackout Protocol Lv1 Fully Unlocked – Duration: 90 min cooldown, Enemy Boost Nullifier”

The comments was beyond redemption for Drax.

“Jaylen just REDEFINED independent artistry.” One comment said.

“Elijah’s just theatrics. Jay’s the truth.” Another comment.

“Dude turned a leak into a masterpiece. RESPECT.” Another comment.

Clips of Jaylen’s performance hit TikTok, YouTube, and even news broadcasts.

A-list musicians reposted segments. Dancers choreographed full routines so as to boost their followers. Music historians called it “the most defining digital performance of the decade.”

Even Elijah’s former producer posted a scathing tweet, “I told him to stop relying on bots and cigarettes. Jaylen built a temple with nothing but scraps.”

In his neon studio, Elijah collapsed into a chair. His face paled. The lights flickered around him as if it was going off.

He stared at the numbers on the screen. It was just 700K.

There was no comeback.

His phone buzzed and there was a message from his label, “We’re evaluating next steps. The press conference is canceled for now.”

His empire was crumbling in silence and he could feel it.

He threw his headset across the room and yelled at the walls.

But no one was listening anymore.

Across the city, inside a high-rise boardroom covered in darkness, a lone man watched the final moments of Jaylen’s performance.

It was Roman Vale. The CEO of V-Arc Industries. The silent investor behind several elite labels and some of the darker Z-system exploits.

He sipped a glass of dark wine. His eyes was locked on the screen where Jaylen stood victorious.

Around him, executives sat quietly, unsure of what to say.

Finally, Roman stood and walked toward the tinted window. He watched the glow of the city waver in synchronization with the beat of a new star rising.

Jaylen didn't smile neither did he panic

“Time to call the twins.”
