"You and your friends are still young. You should have plenty of other useful things to do rather than causing trouble with the Grand General," said the soldier, walking with his gun in hand.

Sand was taken aback. Grand General? The person they just ganged up on was the Grand General?

Sand knew nothing about the military. He had no idea what that title meant. However, as the three soldiers approached, he could imagine that the Grand General was someone they greatly respected and feared in the military.

His hair stood on end. His mouth opened, but no words came out.

"Step away from the Grand General before I shoot you again," the soldier said, giving Sand a scornful look.

The two other soldiers behind him appeared alert, momentarily glancing around.

Sand was too young to face a situation like this. Whatever exactly happened, the man they just assaulted was important. That was clear.

So, instinctively, with one hand gripping his other wrist and blood dripping, Sand took a step back.
