The radiant beam of the sunlight found it's way into the room and illuminated the area.

The loud yawn of Lucas echoed across the room and awoke the tired Freya.

Their lips met in perfect sync, her head peacefully resting on his bare chest, his fingers stroking her hair gently.

Freya's look was uncertain. A mix of pain, frustration and happiness. It was hard to say, but she was definitely going through something.

Lucas on the other hand was beaming with joy. His heart sang gloriously in his warm chest, playing the melody in Freya's ears.

The thought of gaining global recognition fixed a smile on his face and registered into his mind.

“Rise and shine, love. Today's our day…” He smiled warmly and got out of the bed.

Freya still looked uncertain, even though she tried to force a smile and hide it, it didn't vanish. The traces, they remained on her gloomy face.

In a matter of seconds, Lucas had already freshened up and was ready. In fact, he was ready to forfeit breakfast. To be honest, he wasn't hungry. He was filled with the joy of progress.

“Baby, I'm going… it's already late. I'm sorry, I won't be able to drive you to work.”

She sighed deeply, her face sank in frustration.

“I'm sorry. Okay, I'll make it up to you. Tonight…”

She raised an eyebrow, but he nodded once again, reassuring her.

Thereafter, he zoomed off. She raised her hand, as if trying to call him back, maybe tell him something, but she withdrew. Maybe she didn't want to spoil his mood.

His engine roared in fury as he sped away to Fintech–the home of Lucros.

The car pulled over at the parking lot. Thankfully, he was on time. The event was yet to begin and the annoying frenzied environment of paparazzi and other media personnel was absent, allowing him to peacefully walk into the building.

First of all, he headed straight to the room where the units of Lucros were stood. The heel of his shoe clicked softly, synchronizing with the creaking sound of the door to the room, creating a soothing symphony of peace.

The air was airy and the robots were all set up and ready for auction.

His team were already there, test running them over and over again just to be sure.

A sweet smile tugged across the corners of his lips as he looked at the future of Fintech.

“Gather round, team…”

After the presidential address that aroused lots of giggling and laughter, he finally charged them.

“Today marks the beginning of a new era for Fintech. Go get dressed. We conquer the market today…”

The all cheered and headed out to their various posts.

Time ran so fast. It was time already. The air was bustling with endless activities. He was also expecting Freya, but she called and said she wouldn't be able to attend.

He was sour, but she promised to watch him live online.

Lots of CEOs were present at the occasion. All the business elites from various corners of the world gathered round to see the long awaited unveiling of the future of the robotics industry. The much awaited game changer night, it was today.

The area was filled with laughter and chattering. The soft acoustic music played warmly in the background. The lighting system was one in a million–ecstatic.

The crowd was gathered and seated as the master of ceremony introduced the CEO of Fintech, the brain behind today’s masterpiece.

“Let's welcome, Mr. Richard Ross, CEO of Fintech company…”

The hall thundered with a thunderstorm of clapping and whistling. The warm blue light shone on him, the soft hum of the music soothing.

After the noise had died down, the brand new looking Lucas in an exotic black Luis Vuitton suit stood before the crowd of thousands, calm and ready to unveil his masterpiece.

“Good evening all and I welcome you all to the unveiling of Lucros, our new robot AI model…”

Another thunderous session of clapping echoed across the room.

After explaining what Lucros entailed, a world of endless possibilities, he decided it was time for them to see what they've been hearing all along.

“I want to seize this moment to present to you, Lucros. Our newest robot AI model…”

They roared in joy as the was directed on the robot slowly revealing itself from the shadows.

All eyes were keenly locked on to it, yearning to see the magic and the hype.

“Hi, my name is Lucros…”

It began to display all it's abilities. It has numerous abilities – speaking and translating into thousands of languages, doing house chores, coding abilities…

However, the one thing that shook the hall was when it transformed into a mini car to also aid it's owner.

That was the real trademark behind all the features. This was the driving factor that brought everyone of them gathered there.

A robot that could change to a car? Unbelievable, but today, they've witnessed the magic, first hand and also had the chance to be a part of the first set of people to claim the first hundred thousand units that had been produced.

In less than an hour, the whole unit was sold and there were thousands of bookings for the next barge.

That night alone, because of Lucros, the networth of Fintech rose from five hundred million dollars to a whooping sum of two billion dollars, just in one night.

If all seemed like a dream. This was something none of them ever anticipated.

At the end of the event, he bumped into someone when he was busy greeting the numerous number of people present – Richard Orlando.

“Well, well, well…” his growly voice bellowed softly.

“Yeah. We won. Finally,” Lucas scorned with a soft smile.

“You may think you may have won this battle, we're just getting started.”

Thereafter, his raging legs stormed out of the arena with a scowling face.

Later, Lucas learned he also took home with him one of the unit of Lucros.

That was his mistake. That was how he planned to crumble him.

A cold smirk played out on his face as he watched Richard's car disappear into the distance.
