Henry frowned slightly but remained silent. Instead, he glanced up at Michael, who was sitting across from him, with a puzzled expression.

Michael nodded to Henry, explaining in a calm and steady tone, "Yes, old Mr. Wright's condition is simple: you must marry Miss Woods. If you don't, it will be considered a voluntary renunciation of your inheritance rights, and all the assets will go to a charitable foundation for philanthropic activities. "

Michael continued, "I know you're curious about Miss Woods and want to ask me about her, but I'm afraid I can't say anything. I have a confidentiality agreement with old Mr. Wright and am not allowed to reveal any information about her."

Even though Henry didn't get the answers he wanted, he felt oddly relaxed. Without hesitation, he picked up a pen, signed his name on the will, and pressed his fingerprint on it.

Henry had never met Charlotte and knew nothing about her—her age, appearance, or anything else. But he trusted that his grand-uncle, who was willing to leave him such a large inheritance, wouldn't disappoint him.

Besides, even if Charlotte turned out to be overweight, unattractive, or much older, all he had to do was marry her. They wouldn't have to sleep together. Worst case, they could have a sexless marriage, and he could keep a few mistresses on the side. After all, he had plenty of money!

Once Henry finished signing, Michael carefully put the will away. Then he took out a black bank card and handed it over respectfully. "Mr. Wright, this is an exclusive VIP card from Express Bank, the highest level they offer. As the owner of this card, wherever you go, whether for shopping or withdrawing cash, you'll enjoy the finest services worldwide."

He continued to elaborate, "All the expenses on this card are billed through your company's internal accounts. Your company's total market value exceeds three trillion, so as long as your spending stays within that amount, you can swipe this card as much as you like!"

Henry took the card, turning it over in his hand, feeling an urge to spend money immediately.

"All right, is there anything else I need to know?" Henry asked as he put the card away and looked back at Michael.

"No, everything related to the will has been settled. I'll handle things on the company's end, so there's no need to worry. Here's my business card. If you ever encounter any trouble or have any instructions, feel free to call me anytime!" Michael pulled out a finely crafted business card and handed it to Henry with great respect.

After taking the card, Henry stood up and said, "If there's nothing else, I'll be leaving now."

Michael stood up as well, his face full of eagerness. "Let me see you out!"

Henry waved him off. Just as he turned to leave, there was a sudden clatter of footsteps outside the door, followed by a woman's anxious shout, "Mr. Evans, don't be afraid! Hang in there! We're here to rescue you!"

Moments later, Olivia burst into the office, leading a group of heavily armed security guards who stormed in with fierce expressions.

Henry and Michael froze, staring blankly at the crowd that had just rushed in.

"Mr. Evans, we're here! He... huh? Mr. Evans, are you alright?" Leading the charge, Olivia stopped in her tracks, surprised to see Michael unharmed and Henry not appearing to be a threat.

"Well, hello there, Miss No-Panties! I didn't expect us to meet again so soon!" Momentarily stunned, Henry was the first to react. He waved at Olivia with a grin and teased her.

"You jerk! How dare you call me that! I swear I'll tear your mouth apart!" Olivia shouted angrily, raising the mop in her hand and glaring at him.

"Hey, you sleazy creep! How dare you take advantage of our manager and break into Mr. Evans' office! Lick their shoes, and apologize! Beg for their forgiveness, or you won't be leaving here today!" The receptionist who had entered with the group stepped forward, pointing at Henry and yelling.

The security guards remained silent but quietly surrounded Henry, their eyes cold and watchful. Even though Henry hadn't hurt Michael, he had still forced his way in and insulted Manager Gray. They couldn't just let him go easily.

"That's right! Lick my shoes now, or I'll have the guards beat you up and hand you over to the police for harassment!" Olivia demanded arrogantly, hands on her hips.

Henry rolled his eyes at this. He hadn't intentionally looked up her skirt. How could that be considered harassment? If anything, he should be the one pressing charges—for her not wearing underwear and deliberately tempting others!

"Enough! All of you, get out of my sight!" Michael, snapping out of his shock, stepped forward, pushing the security guards away from Henry. Pointing a finger at Olivia, he shouted angrily, "Olivia, do you think I'm nothing? How dare you insult my guest right in front of me! Do you not want to keep your job?"

Olivia's body trembled at Michael's words. She was at a loss for words as she tried to explain, "Mr. Evans, I-I'm so sorry. This gentleman just said he was here to see someone, but he didn't mention he knew you, so the receptionist stopped him. I got confused and thought he might harm you. I didn't know he was your guest!"

"Olivia, I don't need your excuses! You're fired! Pack up your things and get out!" Instead of calming down after hearing her explanation, Michael became even angrier and decided to fire her on the spot.

"What?!" Olivia's eyes widened, her face instantly turning pale. She thought that if she just explained herself to Michael and sincerely apologized to Henry, the matter would be resolved, maybe with a fine of a month's salary at most. She never expected the consequences to be so severe!

"Mr. Wright, I'm so sorry! It's my fault—I was being rude just now, please forgive me..." Olivia ran over to Henry, dropping to her knees and clutching his leg, crying and pleading desperately.

Only now did she realize that Henry's status was even higher than Michael's. Michael wouldn't dare offend him and had to show his stance by firing her.

Realizing this, Olivia didn't bother begging Michael not to fire her; instead, she put all her hopes on Henry.

After several tense minutes, Victor, drenched in cold sweat, finally settled the remaining half of the bill. This brought him a bit more confidence, easing his anxious mind."Humph... It's just over eighty thousand dollars. It's not like I can't pay! Who are you trying to scare with those two security guards? What kind of service is this?" Victor slammed a hand on the table, clutching a handful of bank cards and angrily gesturing at the woman.Although it felt like his heart was bleeding, Victor put on a brave front, trying to maintain his dignity."I'm sorry, sir, that's my fault. I'll have them leave right away!" The woman waved her hand, signaling the security guards to go, then bowed apologetically to Victor, though the contempt in her eyes was hard to hide."Well, since it's over, I'll leave now!" After enjoying Victor's embarrassment, Henry stretched, stood up from his seat, and grabbed his backpack, ready to leave."Yeah, I'm leaving too!""Me too, let's go together!" Maureen i

"Huh?" Victor was still in shock from what Henry had just done, his mind completely blank. He only snapped back to reality when he heard the woman speak to him, and he looked at her with a bewildered expression."Sir, will that be cash or card?" the woman repeated with a smile, holding the bill out toward him.Henry had casually handed her a $5,000 tip, which filled her with gratitude and made her hopeful that Victor, who had promised a generous tip upon entering, would do the same."I-I need to look at the bill first…" Victor took the bill, trying to hide his panic. His eyes darted around as he frantically thought about his next step.Seeing this, the woman showed a hint of disdain in her eyes. Victor had the bill upside down, which showed that he had no money to pay and was trying to figure a way out!"Ahem… Well, you see, most of my money is tied up in the stock market, and getting it out is a hassle. Kent, why don't you cover the bill for me, and I'll pay you back later?" After a

Victor was pleased by the attention. Smiling, he nodded and said, pretending to be generous, "We don't have a reservation. Could you find us a larger private room? If your service satisfies me, you'll get a generous tip!"The woman's smile brightened, and she quickly explained, "Certainly, sir. We have three different types of private rooms: the regular room for 28,000 dollars, the VIP room for 58,000 dollars, and the supreme room for 88,000 dollars. Which one would you like?"Victor instinctively wanted to choose the cheapest room, but he stopped himself, remembering his goal for the day."Henry, we're all colleagues, and it's rare for us to get together. I think the regular room is too low-class. Let's go for the VIP room!" Victor suggested, looking at Henry. After all, today's bill would be split between them."No way! I disagree!""Victor, don't push it. The minimum spend for the VIP room is 58,000 dollars. If you want it, pay for it yourself!"Charles and Maurice immediately obje

Henry had never been able to afford to join gatherings because after repaying his student loans and paying rent, his monthly salary was mostly spent on Jane. Now that he no longer had Jane as a financial burden and had inherited a vast fortune, he no longer needed to be as frugal as before."Hahaha... Henry, no wonder you'd rather be late and risk losing your bonus just to go deliver takeout. Looks like you made quite a bit of money! But using work hours for your side gig and pushing your responsibilities onto your colleagues isn't right. If you ask me, you should cover the bill for this meal as an apology!" Victor said with a smirk, his arm around Jane.Even though Victor was the manager of the Marketing Department and not from the same department as Henry, Jane was his subordinate. Given his relationship with Jane and his status as a manager, no one objected to him joining the gathering."You're hilarious, Mr. Lewis! The boss is here for an inspection, and we've got a meeting soon! If they find out you're not here, you can kiss this month's bonus goodbye!" Charles' anxious voice came through the phone. Charles Buck was one of Henry's few friends at the company and a college buddy from back in the day."I see, I'm on my way!" Henry replied. He flagged down a taxi and headed toward the company.
