The Ferrari rolled through the school gates onto the road with a loud roar of the V8 engine.

The city lights blurred past the windshield, bright and distant, like the world that no longer touched them.

Inside the car, everything felt contained but Heavy between them.

Anna sat stiffly in the passenger seat, with her hands folded tightly in her lap.

She had tried to stay quiet. She really had.

But she didn't last a minute.

“Robert,” she said.

He didn’t answer right away. His eyes stayed on the road, one hand resting lightly on the wheel relaxed.

She inhaled slowly. “You're not normal,” she said. “And I don’t mean rich. I mean… this.”

She gestured vaguely, like she didn’t even know where to point. “People don’t move like that for normal people. They don’t bow. They don’t step aside. They don’t hand over power like it was always yours.”

Robert said nothing, and a faint smile appeared on his lips.

Anna turned fully toward him now. “They called you Young Master,” she pressed. “Steve didn’t hesitate. Neither did anyone else at BGMH hotel.”

Her voice softened. “What are you, Robert?”

The car came to a stop at a red light.

Only then did he look at her.

There was no tension in his expression. No guilt. No fear. Just calm, like this moment had always been coming.

“Do you promise,” he asked quietly, “that what I tell you stays with you?”

Anna didn’t hesitate. “I promise.”

He studied her for a second longer. Searching for and measuring the weight behind his next words.

“Say it again."

“I promise,” she said firmly. “On Dad.”

That did it.

The light turned green and the car moved again.

“I’m a Graham,” Robert said.

The words landed softly.

No drama. No weight added.

Anna stared at him, her eyes widened and everything else seemed to fade away.

“A… Graham,” she repeated.

The name alone carried legends, Old money, Old power, Families that didn’t need to announce themselves because the world already knew.

“The Grahams don’t send their heirs to live broke,” she whispered. “They don’t let their children beg for tuition.”

“They don’t,” Robert agreed.

Anna cleared her throat. “Then why did you?”

He was quiet for a long moment.

“Because it's a family tradition,” he said.

“So everything… the struggle… the silence…”

“Was intentional.”

Anna leaned back slowly, trying to process it.

“You could’ve stopped everything,” she said. “At any time.”

“Yes.”

“And you didn’t.”

“No.”

She looked at him again. Really looked.

“You let them humiliate us.”

Robert’s jaw tightened, not in anger, but in resolve.

“I let them reveal themselves.”

Silence stretched between them.

Finally, Anna exhaled. “So what happens now?”

He glanced at her. “Now,” he said, “we take back the Emmett Empire.”

Her head snapped toward him. “What?”

Robert’s voice didn’t rise. “In honor of our father,” he continued. “Dylan Emmett built something real. They killed him and stripped it from him.”

She swallowed. “You can do that?”

“I already have.”

She stared. “What do you mean?”

Robert reached into the console and tapped a button on the screen. A document appeared—clean, official and stamped with seals she recognized from childhood.

They were board transfers. Asset reversals. Emergency injunctions.

Anna’s hands trembled. “This is… this is everything.”

“The event would be the big reveal,” Robert said calmly, “ and the Emmett name will be restored.”

Tears slid down her cheeks before she could stop them.

“For Dad,” she whispered.

Robert nodded once. “For Dad.”

The Ferrari rolled into BGMH and heads turned as the V8 engine roared into the underground VIP parking section.

Suddenly his phone buzzed, connected to the car speakers.

He glanced at the screen, and when he noticed the caller ID, a smile formed on his lips.

Mom.

Anna answered immediately. “Mom?”

Her mother’s voice sounded more lively than it had in weeks.

“Sweetheart,” she said gently, “I’m recovering faster than the doctors expected.”

Anna smiled through tears. “That’s amazing.”

“There’s something else,” her mother continued. “They moved me to a private facility. Somewhere… luxurious and fancy, they haven't said anything about the bills and I don’t recognize the place. I'm worried”

Anna chuckled lightly.

"Robert is responsible for that."

“I don't understand, what do you mean?” She was confused. “My Robert?”

“Yes mom,” Robert said, “it's good to hear you're fine now, and I promise I'll explain everything tomorrow when Anna and I come to see you.”

“Hmm, whatever it is you're doing Robert be careful.” she cautioned.

“I’ll keep Anna and myself safe, take care mom,” he said.

His mother exhaled in relief. “I know you will.”

The call ended.

Anna wiped her face. “So we're getting revenge first,” she said softly.

Robert smiled faintly. “Yes, we have to make preparations.”

He made a call placing an order.

“Send a private security team to BGMH, the best in the city,” he said. “I want a full prep tonight.”

“Also I want a dozen celebrity stylists. The best money can buy in my apartment in ten minutes."

Anna blinked, surprised. “A dozen?”

Robert glanced at her. “You’re walking in there as a predator tonight.”

Because of him?”Steve’s voice was calm, almost bored. “Out of my office, Darby. Now.”Anna crossed her arms, a wicked little grin spreading across her face. “Wait. He can stay… if he goes down on his knees, apologizes to us properly, and then crawls out begging us to change our minds.”Prof. Darby’s face turned purple. “I would rather die.”He snatched his phone from the table, turned on his heel, and marched toward the door. At the threshold he paused, spun back, and jabbed a finger at them.“This isn’t over. You—” he glared at Robert “—I’ll make your life hell in this school. Every single day. She spun around when she heard the doors, eyes bright.“Robert! Where’ve you been? I woke up and you were gone. I’ve been exploring everything. Did you know the bathtub has a built-in star projector? I felt like I was floating in space!”Robert smiled—small, real, the kind he hadn’t used in years. “I had a quick meeting downstairs.
