What about Anne Boone? The slender girl that Jake had kissed in the first chapter? Well, she’s out to prove her own worth instead of depending on her parents or sisters.
What about her ex-boyfriend Shane? He will one day see Jake at a shopping mall and attack him. In return, he would lose all his hair, even his eyebrows, which makes him look so ugly he’ll break ten mirrors in the following days and make people think he has gone crazy!
What about Tessa Blake? After Melvyn and Benson had gone missing, Tessa pushed her sisters aside and took over the authority of the Blake family. She was able to do so mainly because she wasn’t married yet, and Benson also left his shares to her.
WHAT IS UP WITH THIS NOVEL?
‘Love, and you will be loved.’
It’s hard to love when things aren’t going well, but if Delma had given up on Jake just because he rejected her, then the entire Hamilton family might have been destroyed by the Blake family.
So, good things happen to those who do good. It’s not cringe, guys. It works. Just, believe in it.

Will he come after Jake and Delma?

He still looked like he weighed less than eighty pounds after he had received fluids and recovered overnight.This made him realize that he had really pushed himself to the limits during the fight with Melvyn.After taking a long, deep breath, Melvyn stepped out of the room.He could hear Prisha’s happy voice, saying how excited she was to get an admission into MIT for the psychology department.How the hell did she get an invite from MIT? “Ethereal Bane Fists!”Poisonous fog blasts rained down on Jake without end, his voice thick just like the swirling tendrils of dark smog. On top of it, Melvyn used the telekinesis power to send big rocks flying at Jake.Jake blocked and deflected as many as he could and tried to break through Melvyn’s defenses.Despite raging in wrath, Melvyn was actively dodging Jake’s attacks, his eyes like chips of obsidian themselves.The fog around him solidified, churning and darkening, hinting at the terrible power it held.“You look cute without hair,” Jake commented, hoping it’d make Melvyn lower his guard.Melvyn’s intensity of attacking increased even more, and this helped Jake land a few hits in.But they didn’t do as much damage as he thought, or at least Melvyn was in too much of rage to be stopped by just any attacks.
