Chapter 76

As Alex was coming out of the bathroom, he met his wife's cousin Amelia walking out of the ladies room with a smile on her face. He ignored her point blank and continued his journey down to the hall where the party was ongoing.

She placed a hand on his arm. "why have you been acting like you didn't see the way I was looking at you all the while?"

Alex had seen her briefly but was wondering why she didn't mingle with the rest of the family but didn't pay much attention to that. It was her freaking business.

"You better get your filthy hands off mine before I do something that I'd regret. It's almost as though you are going mad." He abused her. He wasn't among the category of men who encourage bad behavior from people. He would never make sure that any stupid woman had the guts to talk to him miserly. He always conducted himself with so much grace that caused people to respect him.
