The siblings had the air of confidence as they looked down on Rick who was on his knees and bound in drive-strengthened earthen chains. “Do you still consider us weak?” asked Fabby. Rick ground his teeth. “Don’t get ahead of yourselves, you ignorant fools!” He released a blast of drive around his body and managed to break free from the chains and also clear all the snow around him for almost twenty feet. His overdrive could be felt by the siblings. It stung their bodies and made them feel like they were near a stove. “Let me show you how weak you are!” Rick took out a new spear from his storage ring and lunged at them. “Cracking Spear Dance!” He attacked their bodies with his spear from left and right as well as up and down extremely fast. Edgar had to push Fabby away and take on the attacks with dual swords. In a matter of seconds, over a hundred attacks were thrown, and Rick’s speed and agility only kept increasing. “Edgar, watch out!” Fabby howled.Dozens of disciples that had been watching their fight for a while now attacked Edgar almost from every direction.Edgar was always confident in his ability to hear things. However, in this Zone B, where there was a constant blizzard blowing about, hearing things wasn’t easy. Still, he heard a sword coming from behind, and he knew he had to move away, or the arm he was holding the skillbooks with would get chopped.His body reacted to his thoughts and moved away. While the siblings were in midair, Riku slashed his sword with both hands. “River Cutter!” A ghastly-huge earthen crescent blade manifested out of his sword, cut through the ground and sky at the same time as it flew into the siblings.Fabby shot a weak earthen gauntlet at Edgar, pushing him off the incoming attack’s path. She created a block of earth under her foot and used it as a footing to jump back. The sloth grabbed Kira by the hair and lifted her up and smiled wickedly. As it was thinking on how to kill Kira, something struck its head so hard, its head moved forward, and it ended up kissing the whole face of Kira.Kira felt utterly revolted by that.The sloth tossed Kira aside, and touched the back of its head and groaned.“How did that feel?” Edgar’s right fist was shrouded with lightning. “No matter how tough you’re, hits to the head will still hurt.”Like he said, the sloth looked a little shaken as it felt the attack jolt its brain and whole body, but it didn’t look weakened like Kira had.In fact, the whites of its eyes began to turn red as excess blood flooded. “Wrraahh!” it roared. While getting whacked was embarrassing, Kira was fuming because the sloth had ended up kissing her whole face, leaving its dirty saliva and disgusting smell on her. Just for that reason, Kira wanted to break the sloth’s skull with her own strength. However, she wasn’t stupid. She joined the siblings and surrounded the sloth which looked bigger and madder than ever. She waited while the siblings rushed in together. Edgar’s left arm was compromised, and Fabby couldn’t use her attacks as freely as she wanted because her diaphragm still hurt. The more she exerted herself, the harder it proved to breathe. If it was another day, Kira would have just watched them die in the hands of a sloth, but today was different. If the siblings were to die, she would be forced to fight the beast alone, and she didn’t want that. After all, she knew very well that Jeff probably wouldn’t step in to save her even if the sloth was about to kill her. That was the risk participating in the fifth round carried
