He dies successfully, but awakens to find himself floating in a void, greeted by a divinely inspired digital system. In exchange for his eternal submission to the system's conditions, the system offers him a chance at a new and more fulfilling life. Daisuke, against his better judgment, accepts the offer and is transported to another dimension of reality.
