I put the key back inside my pocket and went downstairs to check on Zane and Clarissa but when I got there, they were not there.

I went back up and checked if Clarissa's room was locked. It wasn't at all locked, just closed. But how would I know if she's in there? I can't just walk in.

I decided to knock on the door. If she asked why I came, I would just say I was supposed to clean her room as I did with some others. Yes, that's right.

I knocked on Clarissa's room but no answer came. I knocked three more times but still no answer and then I decided to open the door. Clarissa was not in her room and had probably gone out already for work.

I came out of her room and while on my way down, I checked to see if Zane's room was locked. As expected, Zane's bedroom door was locked. I was sure that they both had gone to work and so I took my chances. The butler was sure not to leave his room.
