Hidden Billionaire Son-in-law

"Why are you coming back now?" She questions rudely.

"I'm so sorry, I think I'm a bit early today and not late." 

A slap lands on his face. 

"How foolish you are, I'm asking why you're returning earlier than usual and you're saying something else." 

He gritted his teeth and was fuming with anger. But he gulped the anger.

"I was stuck in the traffic."

"Will you answer my question?" Scarlett barks. 

"I'm not feeling quite okay, that's why I returned home." 

"What a weakling, you are such an asshole. Imagine coming to my workplace to spy on me like I was some kid, pretending to have a surprise for me," she glared him as if he is only a stone with no ears and emotions.

"Do you think I'm a child or that submissive wife you guys dominate over." 

She spat on his face, he wiped away her saliva gently from his face.

 "I wanted to divorce you, but I changed my mind. At least you're not all that useless but useful in keeping the house clean, cooking and doing other things." 

"Arrghh!" 

Another slap lands across his face, he refuses to shed tears like before where he was hopeless and afraid that if Scarlett gets angry and sends him out of the house, he has nowhere to go. 

Now he has more than enough, he's the grandson and heir to the Storm's family fortune, with assets worth many millions. 

He wants to get the humiliations from his wife, patiently enduring it.

She would be surprised when she finds out to whom she's been treating badly all those while. 

"You trash,You prepared those food, so you gonna use your hands and wash them,"she scoffed.

He was fuming with anger inside but he silently gulped the anger, just because of his son.

"Make sure you prepare my mom's food and serve her, learn to be a good servant atleast for once,I have kept you for doing these chores. Not for staring your useless face ." She gritted her teeth angrily.

Getting the car key from him, he pulls him inside the house with all her strength towards the kitchen. 

Eric stumbles and if not that he uses his manly stamina, he would fall face downward.

He walked to the kitchen.

Once Scarlett has one complaint or the other, there's no food for him but worst is that they don't even act as a couple.

Rather his privileges are transferred to another man who considers himself to be her new fiance. When the time comes, he'll teach all of them a lesson.

"For the past two weeks, I have been eating once in a day and the food has always been in a restaurant outside," he murmured himself as his stomach growled.

He hardly feeds on good food because he has to return some money to Scarlett and the bad side is that the money is not always enough. 

The only time he comes home and is permitted to take something from the kitchen is when he has made up to the eight hundred dollar daily threshold. 

"You stupid jerk, bring the food quickly," his mother in law called him angrily.

He has always been afraid of his mother-in-law but now he has nothing to fear, rather he has something to be proud of. 

As he opens the door, with a tray of food.

He saw Susan polishing her nails and Mako was playing with her toys. Mako clapped his hands to show his happiness.

"Dad, I really miss you!" He says in a sing-song manner.

"I miss you more, Mako." He bends and kisses him on the forehead. 

"Come on, let me feed you." He carries him to sit on his leg, holding the food before him, he starts to feed him gently. 

"You know mom has really been saying bad things about you, dad, to grandma. I don't like what they're doing to you." Mako murmurs.

"Don't worry, it'll be well soon. Just don't worry." 

He had barely finished his statement when his mother-in-law banged in, Eric shifts in fear, the shock kind of involuntary. He wasn't expecting her at this moment. 

"What are you saying to my grandson, are you trying to teach him to hate my daughter, his mom?" 

"No no no, I didn't mean that!" There was little custard left in the plate Eric held which Mako didn't want to eat again. 

Susan snatches it from his hands and pours the leftover on his face, some splashes on the floor. 

Scarlett appears from nowhere, Eric is confused if both of them were planning this, eavesdropping on his conversation with Mako. 

Scarlett comes and takes away Mako who is already crying seeing the humiliation his father is passing through.

"Don't cry, don't cry!" Scarlett pats Mako's head lovingly.

 "You'd have sent my son to me before doing this to him." As she says this, Eric thinks she's speaking in terms of his partial good, so his son wouldn't see him disgraced not knowing she's gonna say something worse

 "My son doesn't need to inherit his stinking lifestyle, he's a taboo to every reasonable person."

"Would you shut up!" Scarlett scolds as p

she takes the child out of the room. 

Eric is now alone with Susan, she walks forward towards him, then lifts up his head rudely. 

"Look me in the eyes," she says in a cold voice.

 "You're the worst man I've ever seen on earth, someone like you ought not to live because you're totally useless, worthless and…." She stammers. 

"I don't even know what to say about you again, words are inadequate to classify your level of foolishness. Now will you clean up this room before it's time for Mako to go to bed. Worthless man!" She smirks, turning around, she walks out of the room. 

Eric bends and begins to wipe the splash of custard on the floor, many thoughts in his mind.
