Adam ignored the events surrounding him. He heard the bones falling to the ground as they lost their controller. The undead were gone, but something sinister was coming. He crawled under the pedestal, reaching for the floating black crystal. The pressure was crushing him, making his vision blur. Adam tried his best to finish this as soon as possible. He didn’t see the blood coming out of the Arch lich dying the drawing on the ground. A cloud of black smoke came from the dead body and merged into the black vortex. An eerie scream came from the smoke, as if a soul was being sucked into the dark vortex. Soon, the vortex enlarged, turning into a three-meter-tall black square. It solidified into a black metal door covered in chains. The chains had hideous-looking skulls carved into it, and the door itself looked like the mouth of a terrible creature. There was a banging on the door from the other side, as if something wanted to break free. Adam was still growling under the pedes

“He is awake. Quickly, inform Her Majesty.”“Send a message to the Great Guardian, the human is awake.”Adam heard various voices as he tried to open his eyes. The familiar scent came to his nose, showing his senses were back. There was no discomfort in his body, and he heard the surrounding sounds clearly. Adam opened his eyes to see the ceiling made of green vines and branches. He was back at the Elven kingdom. He looked around to see Carl sleeping in a corner of the room. Adam felt relieved seeing him well. He noticed the others in the room were Elves, but he smelled the Guardian Knights from outside.
