Even after her failure to stop Leiu, Estelle Sigreen did not give up. Merely a couple of hours after the battle against the Holy Knights, when the restrictions were undone, she unhesitantly used [Re; Heaven’s Gate], thus travelling to the last saved chapter.  Since she had only one chance, the Genesis Knight was determined to make the most out of it and make sure Leiu does not go to the Harrowing. Therefore, instead of trying to use force or words with him, she was going to talk to Fairti Gicolt. The young noble, although eccentric, clearly was a dear friend of the Dark Knight and convincing him might change the outcome, or so Estelle hoped.   It was the second time she had used the skill and was immediately assaulted by a head-splitting pain that lasted for only several seconds, fortunately.&nb

Although the Blade of Revolution was a very good one-handed sword, it did not fit Leiu’s fighting style that much. Nevertheless, he stuck with it rather than switching to the other Greatswords he had gotten from the Royal Treasury.Furthermore, having a shield granted him extra protection and, after a couple of fights, he obtained [Shield Mastery], which slightly decreased physical damage and increased his parry rate. The Harrowing was infested with all sorts of undying entities, though the majority were either Harrowing Wraiths, Harrowing Beasts, or the vengeful Lost Souls.While Seo Ae-Ri remained behind and in stealth, Leiu would take the front and fend off any ambushes, which were numerous and unceasing.Every ten to fifteen minutes, the two would

Leiu, Fairti, and Seo Ae-Ri had been continuously dealing with hordes of enemies for hours on end. However, everything came to an unexpected change when they sat down to rest. The noble and the assassin were bickering, as is their wont, but their vision abruptly turned black and, before they knew it, all three found themselves in an isolated place.They were individually separated, each seeing a unique vision that reflected their inner minds.The first was Seo Ae-Ri, who drew a cold breath as she stood inside a cramped prison cell. Volume 5 : The Memories of Old The first to wake up was Leiu, who, instead of pain and dizziness, felt an unprecedented clarity. Unfortunately, the memories were segmented and not enough, nevertheless, Leiu was certain that they were those of Lexus, the first Dark Knight.They were drilling into his mind and soul, wanting to integrate themselves with him, but he resisted them.
