Her silver hair flashed now, swaying just a bit in the motion of the wind, left and right. She lightly tipped the end of the staff in her hand against the ground once more, her smile still unfading. Although it was showing that the smile was just at the verge of fading off.  “Come on, you both. I know you are strangers here but then since you crashed down here, then you must get the help you need. Even though I can tell you that this place sets you on the edge.” Iyabo sighed.  “Yes,it does. It has this lull on me.” Hana said as she walked forward now, her eyes squinting. “I would hate for me to have to draw out my sword on you, you know.”  “Harrrgh!” Macabu growled, immediately nudging Shin aside as he dashed in two steps to the back of Hana. “It's weird, isn't it? How that guy is one that you are strongly after to emulate.   Laaroye died, a taste of vengeance on his tongue and contempt for the one god who refused to protect him. The goddess being Oya, the mother of Storms and War and weather. And the intermediary for the dead.   Laaroye should have been deified as the Orisha of vengeance and revenge because he sure as heck did not go to the other side of life as a calm and satisfied spirit being.  Once Laaroye had been ambushed in his place of abode, the human craftsman was busy sleeping peacefully, after saying a prayer of peace and protection to the goddess Oya.  Oh, only if he did know how foolish it was of him to do that. Not that it did not promise his great reward of him being defied. 18. Exposing the Fugitive Mark
The room was quiet, the only sounds being present being the gentle shuffling of grasses by the wind. Even the birds seemed to have taken a vacation of their chirping here and there, filling the room with a sense of emptiness in some way. The incense lamps kept on burning, inside the room, their smells reaching out to all the corners of the room. The smells being a choking sweet smelling aura that flooded everywhere. The occupants of the room were only but three, of the three of them, two were females. That is, if one were to consider the half dead semi transparent body of the Familiar Prime as living. And based on the state of the latter, only two of them were conscious enough to hold a conversation among themselves.  "So, if I tell you, would you… would you make everything alright?" Ronke asked, her eyelids drooping. "Ah! Here we go again!" Iyabo replied now, resisting the urge to roll her eyes now  "Like I said before, I am saying

She squinted her eyes, shocked at this discovery. How in the seven heavens had she been able to know that Bayo had a fugitive mark? That was top level secret because wherever someone with a fugitive mark was known, there was general unrest. Not only would there be general unrest, the people at that place would begin to cast suspicious eyes at such a person or even at the company that person travelled.  Eventually it would lead to ostracism.
