Chapter 21 - Registration Test
Red, along with Kane and the two ladies arrived in the Nightgale City at noon after traveling for two weeks.   Red looked through the window of the carriage and saw a majestic gate sculpted with flowers shaped like Nightgale and was mounted on crimson pillars.   The city was surrounded by tall walls and had four gates.    It was owned and managed by the Nightgale Guild. They were the top power and the master of the city.   Red and the others entered the city and ate at a luxurious restaurant.    The food they serve mesmerized Red. Thus,  without caring much of his image, he ate to his heart's content. But the ladies did not care, in fact, the

Chapter 22 - Little White's Ranks
Red entered his living quarters while Little White followed as he returned to his original size.   "This place is dirty," Little White commented.   Red was surprised when he heard it. He could not believe that Little White who can barely speak before he falls asleep is now so good at talking.   He speculated that Little White must be powerful now and he cannot wait to hunt with him again.   "Very dirty indeed," he replied before he started cleaning.   He did not bother with Little White. Red wanted to have a good chat with Little White after he finished cleaning.   Meanwhile, Little White left his

Chapter 23 - Storm Spell
The next day, Red returned to the Weapon Hall and sold his spoils from the Frost Python for two golds. He then headed to the Mission Hall and applied for the mission to kill the three Fire Lions and bring a Fire Berry for ten silvers. A Fire Berry can be sold for three golds on the market but can be auctioned for five to six silvers.  It was ten silvers in the Mission Hall because the poster urgently needed it. But, he did not have time or, perhaps, was too weak to contend against the three Fire Lions. Members needed to give proof when he finished the mission. And in Red's case, he needs to give one Fire Berry, only, then he will receive the reward. He

Chapter 24 - Mana Mine
24 Mana MineAs Red returned to his living quarters, Hazel and Katie headed to the Registration Hall to report the incident to the elders. There were many elders in the Nightgale Guild but most of them were busy.  Most of the elders are managing the city and only a few remain in the Guild while the others are doing missions.  Meanwhile, the guild mistress rarely appears and most of her commands are relayed by a great elder. As soon as they arrived at the Registration Hall, they saw the old lady during the Red's registration test along with Kane. "Elder Kane, Elder Skye, we have urgent matters to report

Chapter 25 - Big Coin
Red went on a shopping spree and strolled all over the guild but he cannot seem to find a hall that sells spells. "Miss, um, do you know where I can buy spells," Red asked shyly while scratching his head. Little did he know that the attendant was attracted by his actions. She was dazed a moment before she answered, "you can buy spells in the Registration Hall," and left hurriedly because she felt her face burning red. Meanwhile, Res was oblivious of this and said his thanks before leaving. Red took a quick lunch along with Little White and headed to the Registration Hall. When he arrived, he saw Sk

Chapter 26 - Stone Doll
"... Take as much as you want but don't be greedy or it will do you more harm than gold," Kane declared and warned at the same time. Red did not care, he dug as many mana crystals as he could along with Little White. And, after digging for a while, his pocket dimension is about to be filled, Red cast another Storage Spell and attached it to his staff. This time, Res finally found his staff useful but, still, it was quickly filled. In the end, he also filled his mana dimension. As of now, Red has three storages, his mana dimension which was attached to the pendant of his necklace, and two normal storages on his ring and his staff. The storage attached to his

Chapter 27 - Primordial Black Metal
Red reshaped his mana barrier into a circular disk and let Rocky step into it as he made it float near the ceiling. He decided to name the stone doll, Rocky. He thought it was a good name since Rocky was made of stones and he is sturdy as a rock, literally. Rocky leaped into the ceiling and started digging his way. After staying there for a time being, he came down and spat a chunk of black metal which made the ground cave in.  If the cave is not augmented by mana from the mana crystals, it must have been buried for a few feet. The chunk of metal looked quite ordinary. Except for having a soft

Chapter 28 - Nightgale
Kane and Red have been flying for two days now. Red was mesmerized by the view of high altitude flying. The view from up above never fails to amaze him. Perhaps this is innate to the fellows that are not born with the ability to fly. They tend to enjoy what they could not have. Unlike Red, Little White is asleep in Red's arms, not even caring about the view that Red was admiring. "We're here," Kane declared, which confused Red. Although Kane declared that they were here. The disk is still not descending and all he can see are clouds. "Confused? There is a plateau here that is covered with a spell f

Chapter 29 - Weavers
A Lady With exquisite looks docked on the border beach of the Kingdom of Middle Earth and the Kingdom of Sea Desert with her gloomy ship full of skeletons. The skeletons raised their bone swords and gave out a gloomy shrill cry and dashed to the beach. As their bony feet touched the water, they did not seem to sink. Instead, the water only rippled while they stepped on it like they were on land. But before they could even reach the beach, weeds from under the sea rose and tangled them. Seeing this scene, the lady stood elegantly on the mast of her gloomy ship seemingly unaffected by what's happening below. "Death Weaver, what are you doing here?"

Chapter 30 - Weaponsmith
He did not sleep last night but he did not feel tired at all. He felt energized, instead.   All night he just stared at the tattoo on his left chest.    It was aligned to his heart. Every beat of his heart, the tattoo seemed to wriggle.   Red wondered what is the relationship of the tattoo to his heart, or, maybe his blood.   He thought, "the heart pumps blood, and the tattoo was synchronized with the beat of the heart which is caused by the pumping motion."   His eyes lit up, he took out his knife and wounded his forefinger. He let the blood drop but the blood did not fall into the ground, it instead turned into a nightgale flower and floated.<
