The calls went on for about a few minutes, until all of the contestants from different venues was called out. Surprisingly, there were a few aircraft that barely made out. And it made Zhi Ruo wonder if that was the reason why the old man on the armour had even made a roll call in the first place.   The old man in the armour introduced himself after the roll call. Turns out he was a general under the direct order of the emperor. Most people already knew who he was including the overseers. But Zhi Ruo didn't, but she had a feeling that he was on par with General Liu, if not a little bit higher on the social scale.   There wasn't much to say, except he introduced himself. On Zhi Ruo's excitement on riding a ship, on land, she ended up being impatient and helped the rubber Qi guy with the instalments of the rubber thingy. Which turned out for the better because after they done installing the rubber. The purple clothed woman and peacock told everyone that the ship would need huge amount of Qi so that it could move.   Peacock had a artifact on her that helped the ship to move, in the expense of everyone's Qi reserves. Zhi Ruo took the role of getting the sails of the ship to achieve maximum velocity. And the purple clothed woman took the role as the captain. Only peacock, the purple clothed woman and Zhi Ruo was exempted from adding their Qi for the ship.    Because they were in charge of navigation. While the rest of the 500+ or so contestants were in charge of shoving Qi in the artifact that peacock gave. Which was enough to move the entire ship. Zhi Ruo

"EVERYONE LEAP!" That was what the purple clad woman shouted, as the ship disappeared suddenly. Everyone leaped, some later than others, but nonetheless all of them leaped.    The town's gate was on sight, and just as the ship was about to crash into the gate, it disappeared back into peacock's storage ring. All 500 or so contestants of the Sighted Valley safely reached the town, and they were the first in doing so.    Everyone landed on the ground safely, before they charged inside the slowly opening crack of the gate. The guards opening the gate saluted at the numerous cultivators charging in, not even bothering on asking and delaying the people. It was apparent that they were already briefed by the general before hand.   Zhi Ruo followed the inflow of people merely glancing at the town's people that was walking around. She felt the

Zhi Ruo took off with small smile on her face, her movements fluid as she escaped the crowd. She was headed for the alley where she felt the presence, her mind was running through a process where she weighed the pros and cons of her actions and wether she would proceed with the original intentions she had.   But this was Zhi Ruo, if not impulsive then you would've labelled her as spiteful, even to the people that she doesn't know. Her secretary would've pray for those that caught her attention, both good and bad. But her secretary wasn't here. And there was nobody kind enough to pray for the livelihood of the contestants that caught Zhi Ruo's eyes.   "I went to church today, just to pray for a downfall of another." Is what her secretary would've said.   "But you don't believe in gods." Zhi Ruo would've replied.  <

The teams started to stop sending men outside, especially in groups of two. And they also stopped sending their individual people that they thought could take care of themselves and not get caught.    They started to send people in groups of 4. They thought that was a wise decision to put forward after all, it looked to be there's only one individual that's hunting down the informats.   Everyone was fighting silently now, and the Sighted Valley's points were rising up. By one point, by two, by three and then by four.   The teams thought you can never go wrong when there's a large group. Well, they were wrong. So terribly wrong, but nobody had it within them to doubt themselves, nor was there anyone there that had 'enough reason' to doubt themselves.    Zhi Ruo started to hunt these groups
