Ch 04.5
Sector twenty one, planet Gorgola, Lilia’s space craft, Lilia.“Ya~wn…”It’s been so long since the last time I had a good night of sleep. Ever since I got trapped here, two to three hours became my usual. Five when the day was going my way. However today seems somewhat different.Judging by the light coming in from the front glass I would guess the sun was up for sometime now. I have been in bed more than eight hours for the first time in my life, and I don’t feel like leaving so I slowly descend back into the comfort of my pillow.“That’s strange… my comfy pillow isn’t comfy anymore.” I murmured to myself, my throat feeling dry.I look at the not so comfy pillow, the view was blurry but cleared soon enough. The not so comfy pillow had turne

Ch 04.6
Sector twenty one, planet Gorgola, Lilia’s spaceship, Seven. We decided to postpone the ruin/laboratory exploration for today. Lilia blamed it on me, saying it was because of me refusing to wake up until past noon. She on the other hand got up early in the morning like usual, did what she usually does and “definitely didn’t sleep in!” like I did. She was too focused on that part.In her voice I felt a hidden intent telling me not to mention anything about yesterday, refusing meant my life would be in danger. It’s not like she would really kill me but it’s still possible for It to happen by accident so I better keep my mouth shut.“What are you doing?”“Hm? Ah, I’m trying to shave this beard, it’s been getting on my nerve for some time now.”I heated some

Ch 04.7
Sector twenty one, planet Gorgola, Lilia’s spaceship, Seven.Surprisingly I didn’t appreciate the idea of sitting around doing nothing so I went and did the usual exercises. Some sit-ups, some push ups, some running and so on. During this little physical test I learned that I could jump at least five meters in the air. This confirms that what happened with the colossus wasn’t just a huge adrenaline boost I got from staring death in the eyes. Then there is the other thing. How I took that laser beam head on with no scratch left on me. It’s almost as if it didn’t reach my body at all, being met with an invisible wall like aura.As curious as I might be though I won’t be shooting myself any time soon. Learning what all of that was can wait till I'm sure it's safe. The dangerous stuff aside, I was wondering if I'm ca

“Gh…my body hurts all over.” Groaning in the shower while hot water did it’s magic on my body I wondered, where things went wrong? It was a stupid idea. Simply a stupid idea. When Lilia offered to help me train I didn’t think much of it and agreed on the spot. It was then that the way she treated me changed. What I had to do is simple; keep dodging her spear until dinner time, which was six hours away. And no joking, I can’t count how many times I sow the angel of death. He was sitting there drinking a cup of tea in a relaxed manner waiting for me to slip like it has already been decided. I didn’t even have time to analyze the effects of fast movement and gravity on bouncy body parts and really short skirts. For

Iris and I were many things. We were together since preschool so you could say we were childhood friends, but Iris was closer to me than any of my sisters had ever been. She was my partner during our Warrior training as well and we spent most of our time together. Iris was the cutest girl around and most boys in the academy had a crush on her, but that attracted bullies and for the extremely shy Iris fighting back was difficult. You see, she was an orphan for as long as she could remember. Her parents died in an accident which meant she had no one to rely on. Add that to being born in a weak body despite being a female and you’d realize how vulnerable she looked to those with malicious intent.I on the other hand was the energetic type who didn’t hesitate in beating anyone who meant harm for her but ends up in a lot of trouble because of it. Iris was always there to help me de

Chapter 05: Moving forward.
Sector twenty one, planet Gorgola, Seven.Ten days have passed.I started accompanying Lilia in the morning, picking fruits then visiting Iris’ grave before we return. Remember the papaya fruit? The one that looks like a hybrid between a watermelon and an apple? Contrary to my expectation that one grew on trees like apples rather than the ground like watermelon. The height those trees could reach doesn’t cease to amaze me, but Lilia who could easily climb them all the way to the top was amazing too. One of the things I couldn’t wrap my head around though is the technique she uses to make it impossible for her panties to show when jumping around, even while wearing dresses and short skirts.Don’t get me wrong, it’s not like I’m deliberately going out of my way to look at them. But after acting like a true gentleman and averting my sight

Ch 05.2
Sector twenty one, planet Gorgola, Laboratory ruins, Lilia. “Ooookkaaaay…NOW YOU'VEA PISSED ME OFF YOU GODDAMNED CAT!!!!” It was the second time I see Seven get this angry. He is usually so calm and level headed, except when fighting night crawlers. He really does hate those things. But unlike when fighting those eight legged creatures the state he is in now isn’t fear or disgust, but a form of pure rage that completely flips his personality around. It made me doubt the well being of his mind. Is this really the same human I know? ~◇~ We spent three days fighting night crawlers underground, killing about three hundred of them in the process but the speed in which their eggs hatched helped replenishing their numbers through the night. That’s why on top of destroying the creatures w

The door led to a set of stairs that goes downward, at the end of the hallway that followed them was an elevator that also lead deeper. Unfortunately this one didn’t seem to work so we had to make use of the emergency ladder to get down. There weren’t any other floors on the way down and after nearly fifteen minutes we arrived to the bottom level. “Beautiful…” That was the only word I could use to describe what we found there. It was difficult to believe it's part of the laboratory above. The final level was an underground cave made entirely out of Glassume. There is no mistaking it. The sparkling clear crystals covering every inch of this cavern were the universe's most valuable mineral. They were everywhere no matter what direction you look. Seven’s gauntlets were indeed a surprise, but this was on a different level. This is an entire mine filled to t

Ch 05.4
Sector twenty one, planet Gorgola, Underground cave, Lilia. When I was a little girl I really liked listening to fairy tales. I would always force Iris to read the books I chose just because the title sounded interesting. The tales on Zesion were countless but from time to time we would read about stories from outside. One of such stories was about the twelve mythical beasts. The book talking about them was something a brother of mine got on one of his trips to neighboring planets. It was a translated version printed on paper as a souvenir for tourists. He knew how much I liked that kind of books so he brought one specifically for me. It told stories about the twelve beasts that roam the universe destroying whole plants sometimes. Mizu, Ard, Verta, Arnab, Read more
Ch 05.5
Sector twenty one, planet Gorgola, Underground cave, Lilia. “I’M GONNA KILL YOU!!!!!” “ROAAAAARRRR!!!!” Seven jumped at the beast delivering another blow, this time to its head, but it didn’t seem to have the same effect. Verta was on guard, now completely focused on him. Seven glanced in my direction for a moment. Understanding what he meant I stood up and ran for the exit, but our mythical friend here has other plans as it charged an electro sphere and sent it my way. Before I decide whether to dodge or not Seven jumped in the way deflecting the attack with his arm. “YOU DAMNED ç’56 8_(-_ è_è _|| ^\| èç-è (-\[- è_( ² (-è( $ùmRead more
