Chapter 31
The fifth game received its first casualty; it was a bomber considering how the woman had survived four games only to be rejected because of her physical appearance. They drank one for her and then turned their attention to Connecticut, who couldn't seem to get up. Unlike Alaska, he managed to convince his neighbor to open her legs for him. But he just could not seem to get it up with all the stress he had because of the game. He was practically sweating and shaking, turning her off. She had tried giving him a hand and a blow just to put him in the mood for it, but it appeared every attempt was just making things worse for him. She couldn't gather why he had even called her over when his mind seemed to be elsewhere. She pushed him off and decided to leave. She could only assume he was on some type of drug or something. "Rachel, wait," he cried out for her as he realized he was about to fail his task. "Get your shit together and do not ever call me to waste my time!" she yelled at

Chapter 32
The pledger's room was quiet as they watched in horror. On any other day, most of them could not mind watching an old man get laid by a fellow man, but what they witnessed was beyond anything more than entertaining. Most of them thought the old man had a perfect plan, but the introduction of drugs messed up an execution that seemed to be the only plan that he would have walked out of the house without humiliation. But they could never tell why he added drugs. Others assumed it so he wouldn't be aware of the act he was going to engage in, but that only gave the organizers a perfect setup. Now he sat on the young man's bed, boxers only, with the young man's lifeless body lying on the floor. The police officers were trying to disperse the crowd that was trying to get inside the house with the intention of getting a glimpse of the old man. There was a TV crew outside trying to get on top of the story. The news of a gay man dying of intoxication after a wild night with an old married man

Chapter 33
Washington ran as fast as he could to his house, almost tumbling to the floor. It was getting dark and most of the neighbors were inside their houses. He needed to get his message to the organizers before they killed him. He went straight to his drawer, grabbed a marker and a piece of paper, and quickly scribbled on it. He was very aware that the probability of Acer picking up his call was zero, so he had to rely on sending out his message using paper and ink.He raised the plain paper in the air for the organization to read. He knew there were cameras in the house, but he had no idea where they were, so he kept turning around for them to read. The paper read, "Vaginal, anal, and oral are types of sexual intercourse, Google it!"Acer and some pledgers had trouble reading the paper, forcing her to pick up her phone and call him.Washington quickly answered his phone, sighing in relief. "You have one second before you drop dead. What the f*** are you talking about?" She yelled at him.

Chapter 34
Two more hours passed with nothing happening to either Washington or the woman he claimed to have had sex with. The pledgers were tired of waiting in anticipation. They wanted answers, even though the organizers seemed uninterested in giving those answers. They were told to hold on and give their attention to other players who were still playing the fifth game. Most of the players were succeeding more than they were predicted. Having sex with neighbors was more common than they had expected. Some players only needed to calm themselves and continue the numerous affairs they had with their neighbors. Some solved their long-term conflicting affairs by getting rid of their partner in crime. Others had to get rid of friends with benefits. It came down to deciding what was more important: their lives and the lives of their loved ones, or an occasional hook-up.Ten more players made it: Arkansas, California, Kentucky, Nebraska, New York, Nevada, Louisiana, Michigan, New Jersey, and Maine,

Chapter 35
As Washington slowly opened his eyes, he could smell the breach and various scents that came from hospital medicine. He was alive and he was lying next to his wife. He quickly got up, removed his cellphone from his pocket, and there was his congratulatory message staring back at him.He burst out laughing in shock, waking up his wife. He quickly apologized to her and held his mouth in shock. He beat them at their own game. He finally used his head and beat them."What... is going on?" his wife asked, curious. It was the first time in months that she had heard him laugh."It's nothing, honey. I am just working on something... I will tell you all about it when it's done," he replied and put his phone aside. She cocked her head up, "Please do not get yourself into more debt," she stated, surprising him. He froze, his smile completely vanishing. He had no idea she knew about his debt status. "I know you are in a lot of debt...David, you have to stop... There is going to be life after I'm

Chapter 36
The silence stretched. All the players that wanted to bargain out began reconsidering their options. Getting a woman out of her house did not seem like something difficult unless there was a hidden agenda. Acer went on to clarify, "the woman must step foot outside her house. Her opening the door alone does not qualify. Peeking out of a window does not qualify. I hope we will not have players trying to outsmart the game," she warned and wished them luck."Wait a minute, can we forcefully break into the house and get her out?" Michigan asked.Acer paused and quickly contacted her bosses. They hesitated a bit but decided to make it a fair clean game. "No, you can not break into the house or use any form of violence," Acer warned all of them and switched off her phone. Some players were already running to their rooms to pack a bag in hopes of getting to Texas first. Pennsylvania, who was one of the furthest away, was already in his car, grabbing his packages, and heading to the airpor

Chapter 37
The pledgers fell silent, the cheering stopped, and their entire conviction in Pennsylvania vanished. The woman appeared determined to take the shot, and they were certain she would shoot him or he would panic and do something stupid.Pennsylvania took a deep breath in, attempting to calm himself. Her pulling out a gun was the last thing he expected. Getting her out of the house proved more difficult than he had anticipated. He slammed his disoriented head hard on his palm. He began regretting not taking a short break the moment he became conscious."I don't want any trouble, Miss. All I'm asking for are directions," he said, raising his hands."Directions to what?" She asked, catching him off guard. Maybe she was overreacting and he was genuinely lost. She always knew the best way to catch a liar was through his own lie. There was silence, which she noted, and her instincts proved her right."I will ask again, what directions are you looking for?"Pennsylvania hit his head once more.

Chapter 38
Pennsylvania waited behind the drum for the woman to open the door and walk out of her house, but nothing happened. He blew his cheeks out with a heavy breath, hoping to keep himself calm. He peered, checking to see if he had missed her or the sound, but the door remained shut. He couldn't believe the useless woman's stupidity. She scammed him of his two dollars without shame. He had no idea who she was or what she looked like but she just hit his last thread of calmness. He stood up, walked to the door, and began pounding on it in frustration, yelling for her to walk out of the house as she had promised or else he was going to break the door. He was out of his senses and could not focus or think.Taxes laughed, surprised that the idiot was still alive. She took up her AK-47 and pointed at the door though she was sure his task did not involve getting into the house.Acer watched with her hands over her head as the bi***tch played the game fair and square. Credit was due to her for str

Chapter 39
The entire arena erupted in yelling. They were sick of the excuses and constant changes to the games."Gentlemen, please relax!" The man on the screen yelled at the top of his lungs. The room fell silent. He realized the nerves were affecting everyone. They were at the last game, and a lot of money was at stake."For our final game, all of the players will have a second chance at the woman. I am only giving them time to rest and refresh so that they will be able to use their brains when they face her!" He yelled at them again. He'd lost his cool. It was the first time they were hearing him lose his cool."We all saw how Pennsylvania was tricked. Texas is smart and now she knows the game involves getting her out of the house," he reminded them and ordered them to take seats. "What happens to the prize for the sixth game?""The offer is off the table but will be added back to the initial final price," he stated. The room became quiet again. "But was it necessary to lie to the players

The silence stretched, with none of the players asking any questions. This forced her to repeat herself. GAME 7"Go back to the address you were given yesterday and this time kill the woman who lives there," she said. "The key you got yesterday gives you direct access to her front door." She continued, "Make as many attempts as you want, but make sure you kill the woman."The Pledgers in the arena room exchanged glances, unimpressed with the previous game. There was nothing exciting about twelve players, the majority of whom being men, going after one woman. First and foremost, it did not make sense, and secondly, it was predictable. A once-exciting, adrenaline-pumping game was devolved into a mocking assassination. Most of them only stayed in the hope that their players would succeed and cash out the money. The thrill of watching and anticipating how the game would unfold had worn off. The screens switched and reminded them of the last twelve players;Alabam
