Chapter 11 Golden Throat Pill
His kowtow seemed to be like a special ritual, or put it another way, it was like a key to unlock some secret in the cave, for there was a sudden tremor inside the cave. Tolly once even felt the cave was going to collapse. ‘Am I going to be buried in the cave and die a horrible death again? Oh, no!’ Tolly thought to himself. His face turned into a deathly pale immediately. however, the tremor went away quickly and there was no more coming again. When he calmed down, he found nothing special except that the wall about two feet away to the right of the mural suddenly shifted a little bit. It looked like it extended longer than before. To his surprise, he found in the new part of the wall there was a large opening, where a golden hidden box presented itself to Tolly. Something round illuminated inside the box, making it mysteriously translucent. ‘Amazing!’ Tolly whispered as he limped closed to it, ‘What’s that?’ Apart from the round thing, it seemed there was something else inside t

Chapter 12 Back to His Hovel
‘Huh, what's that?’ Tolly gasped in surprise, noticing that there were now two little shiny white things in the place where the dead body of the two-headed snake had been lying. When he got closer to them, Tolly saw that they were actually two egg-shaped things. 'Hmm, could these be the eggs laid by the two-headed snake? Well, if so, I should collect them, too. I guess I might be able to hatch my own spiritual pets with them in the future!’ Tolly muttered to himself. Quickly, these two snake eggs were also put into his Infinite Space Pack. “Wow! The pack is too good to be true. Unbelievable!” Tolly exclaimed excitedly. Even though filled with a lot of stuff, it wasn't heavy at all. Tolly could not even feel its weight whatsoever. it was indeed a precious item to him, so Tolly thought he should keep it from others. He simply could not let others know it, for he knew very well that the world of Goldearth was not peaceful at all and the powers of darkness and evil were running amok.

Chapter 13 Loan shark
The busiest market in Fanta Mountain actually was at Wesilver Airport, for anyone who went out hunting or for other activities such as collecting valuable herbs or precious stones had to take a flight there in and out of Fanta Mountain.Tolly had no other transport of his own to travel around the mountain except his two faithful dogs—his own feet, so he had to walk to Wesilver Airport. On the way there, Tolly had nothing to do but enjoy the scenery on the road. He was not bored at all since the scenery all along the way was not bad. Virtually, he found everything here seemed new to him. While taking in the beautiful view around him, he suddenly came across a short, fat, bald man who was staring at Tolly furiously. Tolly didn’t know him, but apparently, the man did know Tolly.“Son of bitch! Who do you think you are, you big loser! How dare you play truant from school now? How dare? Get your damn ass back to school now! Roll, or I’ll kick the crap out of your ass!” the man fumed with i

Chapter 14 Scarlet Mist
The eight-mile street was named Bridge Street, for most people who had ever walked down the street would think it was like a bridge to heaven. As Tolly walked along, he also had such a feeling, for everything was so captivating on the street. Those stalls selling all sorts of snacks were particularly attractive to Tolly. He knew they would all taste awesome. As a real chowhound, he really wanted to try every snack, but his schedule was a little tight at the moment, so he had to hold back for the next time.George owned a little shop on the street. In fact, he was not allowed to own any shops as a member of the Community Management Office because it was illegal. Yet, all the members of the Office actually owned one, so everyone here in Fanta Mountain just took it for granted.Of course, they did not have any time to take care of their shops themselves. Normally, they would leave them to their good friends to attend or simply hire a few nice fellows to work for them. When Tolly arrived

Chapter 15 New Weapons
“Scarlet Mist?” asked Tolly in surprise. “Scarlet Mist is a forbidden place that has not been officially licensed. Smugglers will hunt there in secret and sell their prey on the market in exchange for some extra money. If you are not afraid of getting killed and want to take a chance, go to the Scarlet Mist and try your luck there. Of course, if you die there, don’t become a zombie to haunt me whatsoever!” Geroge shot him a big grin. “Don’t worry! Please tell me where it is!” Tolly asked. It was a matter of life and death. If he couldn’t find the two herbs, he would have to die a grisly death when the time came. He would be killed by the poison in his body. He might die in Scarlet Mist, too, but anyway it would offer him a little chance of survival. Hence, he was determined to go to the Scarlet Mist, no matter how dangerous it might be. “Hey, Tolly, my little friend. You are young. It’s better not to take such a risk because you’ll probably die in the Scarlet Mist, you know. If I

Chapter 16 Here I am
Before heading off to the Scarlet Mist, Tolly planned to get himself some food. ‘Perhaps I’ll soon have a big fight tonight, so I have to be armed to my teeth. No matter what will happen later, it’s always right to have enough food around. If I have to die tonight, I’ll have to die with a filled stomach.’ Tolly told himself. Hence, he walked towards a stall where he could buy some food for himself. The owner of the stall was a young woman in her forties with a freckled face and two pigtails. She looked like the kind of woman whose youth’s proud livery had already turned into tottered weeds of small worth. She was sitting behind her stall, eating Red Rose. ‘What’s going on? Red Rose again? Red is the color of blood. Does it forebode that my trip tonight might be a bad one?’ While Tolly was thinking, the woman gawked at him without saying anything. The silence reigned between them for a short while. Finally, the woman asked, “How can I help you, young man?” “Hello, I’d like some fo

Chapter 17 Trap Technique
It was getting darker and the Osher grove was filled with the more blood-colored mist. However, Tolly was not plunged into darkness completely, for a reddish moon, almost as big as the sun, crept into the sky slowly, accompanied by two little moons on each side of it. The big moon in the center, like a noble lady with four maids beside her, was drop-dead gorgeous but mysteriously strange. A cold breeze blew through, sending shivers down his spine. Except for the whispers of the trees, the only sound that could be heard at the moment was coming from their footsteps. The big moon glowed on the top of the trees, turning them reddish, making the grove more eerie and scary. It was not until that time that Tolly realized why this grove was also called the Scarlet Mist. ‘If these smugglers are not greedy, they must be all in big trouble with their lives. Otherwise, no one would be willing to step into such a dangerous place.’ Tolly thought to himself. Casting a glance at these smugglers b

Chapter 18 A Needle Scorpion Caught
Tolly hummed his little soft tune happily, thinking he would soon be able to catch something he wanted to finish collecting the herbs, but he did not notice that the old man on the same tree was gaping at him in disbelief. “Damn it! What are you doing here?” the old man asked. “Nothing. I’m singing, you know. The song is called ‘Health’. I bet you’ve never heard of it before. I learned it when I was back on another planet.” Tolly began to sing again, “Circle three times left; circle three times right. I’ll shake my head and I’ll move my hips. Please come together for exercise…” “Are you nuts? Stop singing that silly song! I’ve never seen such a stupid guy like you before. Your bait has already gone, but you haven’t even noticed it yet. What’s the point of your coming here?” the old man said angrily in a husky voice. The old man was telling him the truth. Tolly had been busy with his singing that he had ignored the black leaf worm pierced through on the hook had gone. ‘That’s funny

Tolly made a face and stuck out his furred tongue, showing that he was fully amazed by the difficulties they had in their cultivation. But Tolly also felt he was lucky, for he had always been able to eat like a horse, which might help with his cultivation according to Michael. And above all, he had Universe Golden Cauldron to his advantage.‘As the old saying goes, if you want to do an excellent job, you must get your tools improved first. When it comes to my cultivation now, the keyword is upgrading. If I can upgrade to a higher level, I’ll best them as easy as pie.’ Tolly thought to himself, curving his lips up to a confident smile,‘Of course, at the moment, I’ll have to get those two important herbs to help me get rid of the Rotten Throat Wind.’Time was cracking. Most of them, one by one, had all got something for their hunting except for Tolly and the one-eyed man. They decided to call it a day and some of them even took Red Rose out of nowhere and started eating them while chat

Chapter 20 Fight on the Magic Carpet
Soon, half of the Fried White Duck was gone, and surprisingly, Tolly saw from the screen that his vital energy went from 174 to 194 points. How could it be like that? He remembered that a White Duck only contained 30 points of vital energy. Not thinking too much, he had another piece of the Fried White Duck. He saw that his vital energy turned to 200 points. He did not know that while he was eating, not only could he absorb the vital energy from the food itself, but also the vital energy that escaped into the air if he could get himself into an extremely relaxed state. Then he stood up and threw the rest of the Fried White Duck onto the ground below the Magic Carpet. He decided to wait for what might happen next quietly and patiently. As a part of his plan, he hoped that it would work. In the distance, the moon seemed to grow brighter. It was quite like a beautiful and graceful lady, whose lips curved up into a happy smile, admiring the Tolly’s smarts high above in the sky. Stan
