CHAPTER 51
The Guild Hall lounge was tense, the flickering candlelight casting long shadows across the faces of Abraham’s party. Every so often, muffled shouts or sharp commands echoed from the interrogation chamber where Angel had been taken.Elaine clenched her fists, her eyes glued to the door. “I just want to hear him admit it… finally.”Maia shook her head, still uneasy. “Even if he confesses… can we really trust the Guild to act fairly? This feels like walking into a trap.”Abraham leaned back in his chair, arms crossed, crimson armor dulled but still faintly glinting. “We’ll see the truth, one way or another. Patience. That’s all that’s left.”Minutes stretched into hours. Then, the heavy door swung open. Angel was led out, shackled and beaten, his usual arrogant composure shattered. His eyes darted around the room, finally settling on Abraham.“So… you’ve brought me here, thinking I’ll spill my secrets to you,” Angel said, voice rough but still mocking. “Do you really want to know the tru
CHAPTER 52
YorkPines had never felt quieter. The streets were filled with merchants hawking goods, children laughing as they ran through the squares, and townsfolk whispering cautiously about the recent upheavals. Abraham’s party had settled into a semblance of routine, each member trying to reclaim the fragments of normal life stolen by chaos.Abraham lingered near the edge of the Guild Hall balcony, staring out over the city. His crimson armor had been replaced with simple traveling garb, though faint scars and burns traced across his arms and neck—a quiet reminder of his recent battles. His black and blue lightning eyes, however, still betrayed a restless mind.“I wonder if calm ever lasts,” he murmured to himself, hands resting on the stone railing. His gaze drifted toward the horizon, where the sun was dipping below the mountains.Elaine sat in the Guild’s library, arrow quivers stacked beside her, studying combat manuals and historical texts alike. She occasionally glanced up at Abraham, wo

The morning sun barely pierced through the thick mist as Abraham and his party mounted their horses outside YorkPines. The streets behind them were waking, unaware of the adventurers’ next mission. A single parchment had arrived overnight.Abraham held it firmly, scanning the text while the wind tugged at his cloak. “It seems we’re dealing with something… unusual this time.”Elaine leaned forward from her horse, squinting at the parchment. “Unusual? You mean monsters?”Abraham nodded grimly. “More than that. The townsfolk report creatures—beasts that should never leave a dungeon—have started spilling into nearby villages. It’s creating chaos. People are fleeing, some towns are under siege. Our mission: subjugate the dungeon, find out why this is happening, and seal it if necessary.”Maia tightened her grip on her sword, her face determined. “Monsters? That sounds like a disaster waiting to happen. How big is this dungeon?”Abraham unfolded the map included in the letter. A jagged mount

Seeing this mess was just gruesome. The students in this stall didn’t experience a painless death. Considering the fact that they have these bruises and wounds on their bodies, they were first tortured and then killed. But by who? Vincent felt sad to what happened to them,“My investigation department now has all their hands on deck and taking immediate action. Don’t do anything stupid, Vincent!” Victor said to his brother who was staring at the corpses. And then, Vincent’s eyes just narrowed. Vincent is seeing something wrong, and he can absolutely sense it. So, he went over the tape and went inside the stall,“Vincent!” yelled Victor.Vincent looked back and then he looked at the forensic experts,“Can I please have some gloves, so that I won’t be able to taint the scent with my DNA.” Vincent asked. And the experts just gave him gloves. Victor couldn’t stop Vincent anymore, and he just advised Vincent to just don’t take off his gloves. Vincent then went full inside the stall and crou
CHAPTER 55
The mountains loomed in the distance, jagged and imposing, their peaks shrouded in mist. The party’s path to the Dungeon of Chaos would take them four days, winding through dense forests, rocky passes, and river crossings. Despite the looming danger that awaited them, the journey itself became a moment for the party to breathe, tease, and reconnect.Abraham rode at the head, his sword sheathed but lightning flickering faintly along its edge, a subtle reminder of the power he now controlled. Elaine rode beside him, her bow slung across her back and her quiver full, eyes scanning the horizon but also glancing at Abraham with a teasing smirk.“You know,” she began, “you could at least warn the others before you go all broody and mysterious. Not everyone enjoys riding in silence while staring at a red veil in the distance.”Abraham chuckled, a low, amused sound. “And miss your incessant chatter? Never.”Elaine rolled her eyes, pretending to scowl. “Incessant? I’ve been quiet for an hour! Y

CHAPTER 38
With the battle already starting, no one has the nerve to back out. Everyone except for Abraham’s party was feeling confident of their win. Especially the bandits who basically have the side of the Holy Knights which are the sworn enemy of criminals. However, due to the situation that is happening, both parties are wanting the adventurer party of Abraham to get killed. The Holy Knights, who have the plans of arresting Abraham and the others, may have their plans be delayed as the bandits are definitely going for the kill without a doubt. Abraham has put great anger in their hearts for killing one of the bandit bosses of this island. And most importantly, even if Abraham and Edward didn’t slaughter the whole district of bandits, they would still kill them as bandits and adventurers don’t get well also. Since adventurers sometimes are bounty hunters, they are the worst enemies of the bandits. And right now, it is an all-out war. Abraham is the most unfortunate one as he is facing of Ang

After the bloody second elimination, it is finally time for the final round. Thomas is now face to face against this scrawny man with black hair. That's how strong he is."And now, for the final match! Thomas Griffin versus Jeff Tew!" the crowd went wild. But then, the mayor made a revelation. It turns out that Jeff is the one who built the galleon ship with his men as he is a talented shipwright, hence he participated in this battle in order to reclaim his own ship as he will not just give it away to some pirates without fighting for it. The mayor then signaled the start of the battle, and for a change, Thomas went on to charge first. However, when he reached the middle part of the ring and was just preparing for a punch, he was met there by Jeff, and si

"I will still not forget the scar your fucking father left me!" yelled the captain as he swung his flaming sword at Thomas who blocked it with his own new sword."Well, guess what? I also hate my father! And if you could excuse us, we are going on a journey, so get out of the way!" Thomas replied with a yell.Newton just grinned as he puts extra weight on his sword as Thomas is getting pushed back. William right now is also fighting some navy sailors that is preventing him from preparing their voyage by attaching the helm to its designated place. And he must admit that holding off a lot of sailors is being quite annoying and difficult itself. As the two are now struggling, a gang of people suddenly helped them. They all climbed up the ship and beat the hell out of the sailors on it. And when Thomas looked around, it was Jeff on the ship with his men in his shipwright job,"Hurry up!" Jeff ordered Thomas. And it seems as it was if he is about to join the crew. Jeff and the others are n

Says this man that wears the same fatigue and has long black hair."Hurry up, you damn siblings! Be useful!" bellowed the man with ginger hair. The siblings just nodded and went to their ship. As they passed through the marines, one of them suddenly spanked Angelique's butt and the other one groped her breasts. Thankfully, they let go immediately as they were too hungry to let their horniness get the best of them. When the siblings reached their ship's kitchen, Angelique couldn't help but cry. She has suffered enough, and even though they have already transferred units, these things still happen. Samuel doesn't know what to do either
