“Everly.” Savannah forced the name out of her throat, her voice was laced with emotions. She couldn't have shown how hurt she was, standing before Jenkins and staring into his cold eyes. The pain of being a girl who couldn't help her man engulfed her. “Hey, what's wrong?” Everly asked in the most concerned tone. Her eyes ran curiously while she held her arm. “You seem so serious.” Everly could easily tell that there was something wrong, she hadn't met Savannah in this shape before. Whatever the problem was, it needed an urgent solution. “Yes,” Savannah replied, wearing a tearful smile. “It's about Jenkins. He requires my help but,” She hesitated, her body collapsing on itself. “Is it okay to open up? What if she isn't able to help out?” she cogitated. Johan pressed a hand on his temple and bit his lips, while he kept the other hand on the steering. “Do you want to end up like her?” the words rang so loud in his ears. He hadn't been threatened his whole life. “Why this all of a sudden?” He fired the engine of his car, forcing his way through a crowd of people before bringing it to a halt in the parking lot. He quickly unstrapped his seat belt, picked up his briefcase and got down from his car. Meanwhile, he'd noticed a man standing before the full glass revolving door that let into Oritz, which happened to be the biggest television station in coven town. It was his boss, Naylor, his arms were folded defiantly across his chest as he continued to tap the tiled floor with his foot while he awaited Johan's arrival. Johan exhaled deeply, over the past few weeks Mr. Naylor had proven to be a thorn in the flesh. Many a time he often thought he was no different from the devil in hell. He adjusted his tie and paced further with a neat smil

The moon shone softly on the city streets, bringing with it an end to the night's activities. The sound of screeching tires could be heard in a distance as Johan brought his car to a halt outside his apartment. The smell of cigarette hit him as he pushed open the door of his car. He swept his eyes up and down his apartment with one arm on the door, the other on the car top, while his foot remained on the brake. There was no reason whatsoever for him to perceive the scent of a cigarette. More so, he was the only one staying in the apartment. Did someone visit? Or is it a ghost lurking around?, He cogitated. Unfortunately, there was no light bulb outside his apartment to brighten the environment. He head dived into his car, gripped his torch, then shut the door of his car as he slowly paced cautiously towards the backyard which happened to be ghost quiet, sniffing his nose as he held his torch firmly in like manner of a cop in the strategic weapons and tactics team.“Hello?” he said,

Graeme Clough tapped his foot as he hummed his favorite song while rocking his chair back and forth. The process seemed to be longer than he thought, besides he never wanted to sit idle while Diane did all the work, but she'd earlier told him to do so since he'd no medical knowledge whatsoever. More so, she thought he would be a big distraction, which he actually was, by engaging her in discussions she wouldn't want to be a part of. Security, politics, and clocks were the favorite of his topics. She'd always wondered but kept mute anytime he began his talks on clocks. She definitely wouldn't tell him how it felt, but within the few minutes he'd say a thing or two about it, she felt a hollow weakness in the pit of her stomach. Although, she never did speak to him about, but compared to the ill feeling the clock gave her, the rocking chair and tapping foot felt worse. She raised her eyes and smiled at him whilst placing her thumb firmly on the marked spot on Johan's corpse.“Alright, I

He tried to say something.” Naylor stuttered, moving to and fro.“So?” “I never gave him a chance to do so.” He stared at his palms with the eyes of a murderer. “I could see it in his eyes,” he swallowed the lump in his throat. “He was scared.”“Of course, he…” Graeme Clough paused and blinked his eyes.If he was scared and tried to speak then, it could mean he already met with the psychopath and for some reasons, he knew he would die.The sudden silence left its warmth on Naylor's skin, he tilted his head to the side and gazed at Graeme Clough who seemed to be lost in thoughts before waving his arms across his face to get back his attention.“Are you still here?
