HIS RESURGENCE CHAPTER 21Xavier slowly opened his eyes, his vision blurry. He blinked severally and tried to sit up. The searing pain he felt jogged his memory. He remembered the meeting and then going back to the hotel. He remembered the car that followed them to the airport, and then the gunshot. How is that even possible?” Don Alfredo asked in disbelief.“Nothing came up on the security footage.
