Chapter 291 - The Scottish Kelketuk
I'm a Stingray?/MisterE05
It took quite some convincing, but the ten-meter long Kelketuk finally agreed to accept some help. He was hurt throughout the recent battles, and was close to death, despite having the strength to stand on his own eight feet. Chewing through the rocky limbs of those Giant Mana Guardians, had been a physically taxing task, no matter how muscular the beast itself was. Some of his bones were cracked, and quite likely, he could bleed to death because of the wounds on his claws alone, if instant measures weren’t taken.Timothy felt sympathy towards the demonic basilisk, so at some point, he had even commanded it to accept help, which sounded cruel, but dying from blood loss was even more so. The Kelketuk couldn’t heal itself, as dark mana wasn’t commonly used to heal wounds, no. He wasn’t going to allow for a loyal companion to die on his watch!“Feeling better already?” He asked, and the Kelketuk simply nodded. The Kelketuk’s deeply dark mana pool was very unwelcoming of anything pure and
Chapter 292 - Mage x Mage battle!

[The four Giant Mana Guardians have all died in the hands of your servants, so as a reward, you get half of the system points that you would've gotten if you killed them yourself. Congratulations, because you won 75,000 of them.] The system beeped, a few minutes after the battle was over. She then specified, [In total, you've accumulated 88,300 system points.]“Nice,” He nodded.Timothy, the team, the Kelketuk and his platoon of slaves made their way up the mountain. With those four giants out of the way, they didn't have any obstacles blocking their path, so it may take mere minutes to reach the ruins.Of course, they were all alert now, more than ever, because they had seen what this short, visually insignificant mountain was capable of throwing against them! They were lucky enough to survive the battle without casualties, every single goblin survived, but they may not be as lucky from this point onwards, considering the fact that their mana pools were at a constant decline in regar
Chapter 293 - Human pancakes

Five mages stood at the entrance of the ruins, and were preparing to attack Timothy, and whoever followed him. They seemingly recognized him as the leader, be it of the group or of the platoon, so they were aiming at him primarily, and wanted to wipe him off the mountainside! From the looks of it, these humans were stronger mages too! Timothy couldn't guess their exact arsenal, but they had to be at least an entire mana realm above him! They had the advantage of the hill as well, as they were at least seven meters higher in elevation.“What'r you looking at me for? Do you think that I’m gonna fight fair?” He grunted, and then waved his arm. One of the enemy mages’ heads then exploded just a second later, and their brains ended up splattering all over their comrades! It was graphic, but he wanted to show them who they were dealing with while the surviving mages were building up their attack.[Two Advanced Mages killed. 18,000 system points have been added to your sum as a reward.] The

Bill did not volunteer to inspect the suspicious looking gate, he wasn’t dumb enough to do that. However, there were a few less-than-smart goblins in the platoon, and two of them ended up taking Tim’s offer. The two of them walked over to the gate, putting up a fake brave face, and they squeezed through the gap between the two doors after they got there. One of the doors had leaned forward to the point where it was close to falling over, so this gate may as well not be here, because it was barely serving a purpose. Anyway, the two of them made it through the gate, and as they lit a bit of fire on top of their palms to inspect the area properly, they discovered that they were safe. Contrary to what everyone expected, there weren’t any monsters, or humans waiting to pounce on them behind the gates.“It’s safe, boss, nobody’s dumb enough to hide behind a gate that can fall on them.” One of the goblins shouted out.“Good,” Tim answered, “I don’t want it falling on us either, so burn the

The Dungeons of the Old were difficult to explore. Every room, every corridor within the ruins was dark since it didn't have a host to maintain it, and keep it well lit. This place was ruined, after all. The darkness within the ruins was a solid contributor to why it was difficult to explore it, but there were also other, far more concerning reasons. “We're gonna run out of mana really quick,” Tim sighed, citing the main reason why these ruins were difficult to deal with.“Well, you all are using fire as substitutes for torches, so we were wasting mana anyway.” Gustav pointed out, “Let's hope we don’t have to use our fancy magic at all.”Their wishes were always against what the universe had in store for them, because just moments later, they heard a loud screech within the ruins, which likely came out of some monster. It could not have been a human. Timothy assumed that it was a bird of some sorts, a big one, and he didn’t know how to feel about it, as it seemed quite unusual for bi

Timothy had armed everyone with weapons and armor made out of artificial bones. Although the artificial stamp may make them look less dependable, that was not actually the case, because he had designed them to be harder than any normal bone itself, by densifying the material that he worked with. The weapons and armor were just as good as real weapons, though, a bit weaker than actual ironware. The goblin slaves carried swords, as he didn’t care to take their special requests. As for Timothy’s friends, they all had a weapon of their own choosing. Timothy had a large claymore, fit for a Fal Goblin. It was a meter long, double edged, and designed to be quite sharp! He was barely experienced with swords, so he was hoping to not cut himself accidentally if a battle broke out, but he felt comfortable with his choice. He figured that bigger swords could help him take down bigger monsters.“If it wasn’t for my armor, I would’ve cut myself at least six times today.” He mumbled, and took pride

“Kelketuk, can you open this bastarding door for me?” He called out, “Just push it.”Timothy didn’t have any mana, so he couldn’t communicate with the demonic beast telepathically, so he had to use hand gestures instead. He flailed his arms around like a shocked, and angry Italian chef, and once the Kelketuk walked past the goblin slaves and got closer to its master, it seemingly understood what he wanted. The Kelketuk stood up on its hind legs, and used its two pairs of front legs to lean on the gate. This was a beast that weighed several tons, perhaps more than the gate itself, so it was the best servant for the job!It was a smart decision to have the Kelketuk push the gate, and this was apparent, the second one of the doors budged forward by a few inches. It inched inward, slowly, and the hinges that supported the doors released this loud, screeching sound throughout every second of the process! The hinges suddenly snapped, and so, the door that the Kelketuk had been pushing, fel

“We're here for the rings, honestly. We don't care to fight you or anything like that, in fact we didn't even care to fight the giants outside of the ruins, but they left us with no other choice.” Tim answered the old man. “If you can help me and my friends remove our mana brackets, then we'll get out of here, and leave you be.”“And so the aspiring magus tells us his tale of power lust, or the need for power, however you wish to describe it?” The old man followed along, as if he was spelling a riddle. “Are all these men and women your friends? They’re plenty, too much, even.”“Nah, I only have five friends with me. The rest of them are my slaves, and my demonic beast, who is also kinda my friend. I don't think the Kelketuk is interested in removing its mana bracket, though, if it even has one.” He explained.“So you are not a fool, correct?” The old man asked, “Over a hundred men and women are at your command, and you've gone far enough to explore the dark crafts for your own persona
Chapter 299 - "Please get out"

“That was not fun,” Tim said, as he stood up, and tried to regain his composure.“It's not supposed to be humorous,” Simon said, “Anyway, I did my part. I bestowed upon you the greatness that Pool Fragmentation promises, and from now on, you may cultivate your mana as best as you can, assuming you'll make it out of here alive.”“Was that a threat, Simon?” He asked, and he was serious, because he did not want to fight an Arch Magus right now, or the Arch Mages that stood behind him. “Is it?”“No, it is not a threat.” Simon shook his head in disagreement, “We're not the only ones living here. There have been several dark mages trying their luck, though, unlike you, they were dumb enough to attack us. That aside, there should also be seven monsters on the loose.”“Monsters? What kind?” Tim asked, as he remained quite tense. “Can you kill them for us, please? I don't have a drop of mana.”Simon sighed, visibly disappointed, and said, “The Ascended Maguses took your mana as an offering, co
Chapter 300 - Demonic Roosters
I'm a Stingray?/MisterE05
Timothy ran at the front of the line, and hoped to protect his platoon of goblin slaves. Initially he didn’t care if they got killed or not, but at the moment, since he didn’t have a single drop of mana to his name, he understood that it was imperative to keep the goblins alive. He needed them for a little while longer, he needed them to get him out of these ruins. “We can’t outrun the bird, we have to fight it. We have to kill it!” He shouted, as he tried to keep the goblins under control. Then, he commanded, “Quit panicking, and listen to me! I need you guys to spread out, quickly! Try to make sure that you’re at least three feet away from one another.”The goblins continued to panic, they were very nervous, but at least now they were given a couple of steps to follow. They heard their master, and tried their best to do what he told them to. They cooperated. It was difficult to coordinate a crowd of one-hundred and seventy-seven goblins, as they stumbled upon one another quite ofte
