Chapter Thirty one: Inevitable End
Daniel found himself wrapped by countless strands of bloody hair as he floated through a hazy environment. Everything seemed surreal here, painted by a grotesque presence. There were several figures also floating about, indiscernible and eerie as well. This was the Spirit World, a realm which served as home to all kinds of spirit entities and creatures. It was one of those dangerous realms within the Metaphysical Cosmos which one wouldn't dare travel to except they have the means of navigating it. This was because the Spirit World wasn't like the Physical Cosmos. It had no dimension.Three figures suddenly turned their heads in his direction, their hollow eyes staring into his very soul. Just like this world they were all intangible and hazy in nature, possessing this eldritch terror to them.Bloody Mary who was travelling through the Spirit World with Daniel suddenly turned her head, looking at them. Instantly her eyes became bloodier, screams resonating out of her body. These were t
Chapter Thirty two: Supreme Dreamer
Daniel was left to ponder on what Bloody Mary had just told him, his heart aching more and more. He had always suspected that Cursed of the Horror Cursed type gradually descended into the abyss, their perception becoming insanely twisted. But then knowing that Bloody Mary was going to become something like that felt very harrowing for him.The Specter who had protected him would one day succumb to the influence of the Abyss. She would no longer love him and would instead try to kill him, losing every desire that made her seem humane.Knowing that she would one day end up like the Abyss—becoming the eraser that cleaned off everything in creation—made his heart churn with gloom. It was too hard for him to take—too prodigious for him to handle.I can't let this happen, Daniel thought within himself. Surely there is a way to prevent this from happening. There is something I can actually do.But no matter how he thought about it, he couldn't come up with a solution. After all everything ha
Chapter Thirty three: Dream Walking
A few moments later Daniel's eyelids grew very heavy, his head drooping forward. Gradually he slipped into the warm embrace of sleep, his heartbeat becoming steadier and steadier. He didn't know how he had done it and it was very shocking to him. He fell asleep just like that without any stress or whatsoever. This ability left him a little awestruck just like having the ability to Dream Walk. He could actually fall asleep any time he wanted.Well, it was a unique trait of the Dream Walking ability which Cassio had bestowed on him. He was able to tell because he had actually read several webnovels and knew the nature of the ability. What he didn't actually know was how it worked. How was he supposed to use Dream Walking? What would happen if his consciousness left his body and floated into the Metaphysical Cosmos? Would he have difficulties locating the Garden of Eden? How much time would it take for him to locate it?These questions ran through his mind but they gradually became dull
Chapter Thirty four: Angel of Chaos
Mr. Stark felt an overwhelming sense of fear as he stared at the beautiful garden lying in front of him. Well, it felt just wrong to be described as a garden because of its bizarre nature. The biology of the plants here were extremely warped, resembling organisms which came out of pure myth. The trees were smaller and the grasses bigger, the plants seemingly undergoing a chaotic evolution—if that term was applicable right now. And this bizarre evolution affected every single organism within the Garden of Eden. Everyone could see it vividly.Creatures which would have been mammoths back on Earth were reduced to the sizes of ants. Whereas those of a smaller size became as large as mammoths. But luckily for them none of these creatures left the garden or even its peripherals. They just roamed about there, not paying attention to Mr. Stark and his crew members. And at times more bizarring occurrences took place.Space would suddenly warp around these creatures, causing them to vanish out
Chapter Thirty five: Angelic Clash
There were a series of explosive sounds which spread throughout the entirety of the Garden of Eden, sending countless outbursts of shockwaves. Time and space continued to warp, chaos infecting every other concept that existed within this metaphysical realm. With the tremendous impact caused by the clash between Michael and Adam the entire metaphysical realm would have been destroyed instantly. But then it only suffered from heavy earthquakes and nothing more. Not even one organism was destroyed from the impact much less the entire metaphysical realm. And the reason for this was simple. The Garden of Eden was a metaphysical realm which embodied light, chaos and war. It was fraught with so many paradoxes—submerged in chaos. It was also the origin of the Physical Cosmos and everything within. Space, time, laws, life, death and other concepts within the Physical Cosmos were birthed from this realm. So how was the battle of two Archangels supposed to affect a realm with so much symbolism?
Chapter Thirty six: Archangel Raphael
Dantes and Mr. Stark appeared somewhere else within the Garden of Eden. Right now they were deep within it, surrounded by gigantic grasses and other plants which they couldn't recognize. The atmosphere was very cool and soothing to the soul, the air fresh. The soil was as soft as cotton and black. But then there was a heavy silence that permeated that entire region. It was as if there were no creatures within the forest and this was very strange.Earlier they had seen strange and bizarre creatures within the forest and its peripherals. But right now there were no creatures like that. It was almost as if they had vanished into thin air—as if they had ever existed to begin with.Dantes took a deep breath before turning to Mr. Stark, "Captain, don't be afraid. You're safe with me.""There's nothing safe here as long as we're still in this realm," Mr. Stark said. "After all it is the embodiment of chaos. We don't know what kinds of monsters are lurking within the shadows, waiting for the
Chapter Thirty seven: Dreadful Revelation
Archangel Raphael...Daniel repeated the name within his mind, a sense of foreboding washing over him. He had actually considered the man standing in front of him to be an Angel. But he had never really thought he would be an Archangel—the Angel of Light. He had only thought that Michael and Uriel were the only surviving Archangels in the Cosmos. Who would have thought that there was also another Archangel? It was really shocking and terrifying as well. It made his heart to palpitate even though this entity meant him no harm. But just as his heart was palpitating it calmed down instantly. Obviously the divine light being emanated by Archangel Raphael was placating his mind as well. And right now he couldn't feel fear towards this Archangel no matter how hard he tried. It was as if the concept of fear didn't exist in the presence of this Archangel."Strange," this time it was Daniel who spoke the words, not the Archangel himself. The Angel of Light seemed amused and curled his lips upwa
Chapter Thirty eight: More Revelations
Daniel spent a couple of minutes thinking about what Raphael had just told him. The revelation that had been given to him by the Archangel was very dreadful. It gripped his heart, threatening to collapse it in an abyssal tantrum of emotions. Perhaps if he had not being a Lycanthrope then he would have really become irrational as a result of this. And I've being living all my life thinking that everything has been settled, he thought within himself. I'd thought that there was nothing else left again after Abyss' plan of descending to the Cosmos got foiled. He took a deep breath, imagining the scene of Furs taking over his body. It was very harrowing, sending chills all over his body. Imagine growing in power only have someone else forcibly take over your body and absorb your consciousness. And this was the reason he had seen the Mistress of the Abyss Cult as a lunatic. This woman had freely given her body as a vessel for the Abyss to descend into the world. She had been truly lunatic t
Chapter Thirty nine: Giant Mosquitoes
Mr. Stark continued running through the thick forest, getting very far away from Dantes' location. He was worried that the Stage Magician wouldn't be able to fare against the Faes for some reason. But then he had to put his trust in the General of Invasion. If the Alien had told them that they had more chance separated than being together, then there had to be a way. After running for some minutes he finally got tired and decided to rest underneath a large tree. This tree was very different than any plant he had ever seen before. It looked like a gigantic blade of grass instead of a tree, soft unlike most trees. It was after some seconds that Mr. Stark realized that this wasn't actually a tree but a grass. Within the Garden of Eden everything underwent chaotic transformations. Hence smaller plants were gigantic and the bigger ones were smaller. He decided to sit down while maintaining vigilance over his surroundings. Right now he was defenseless, without Michael to protect him. He did
Chapter Forty: Rewarding Situation
Mr. Stark was still running when he heard a beastly growl echo throughout the entire forest. He would have stopped and turned back instantly. That was the first thing his instinct told him—to turn around and run without even looking back for once.Whatever creature had made that noise wasn't normal. Perhaps it was even on the level with the Primordial Giant who had attacked them earlier. And even if it wasn't on the same level, it wouldn't be too weaker than the Path six Cursed. He would have turned back if not for the giant mosquitoes on his tail. They numbered up to millions and were chasing him relentlessly. All of them were attracted to the divine aura he had on him. But he didn't know that because—even though he was surrounded by Cursed—he didn't have much knowledge about things like that. So there was no way for him to know.He was still running when he suddenly plunged downwards, his hands waving frantically in the air. It turned out that someone had set a trap there, placing a
