Giancarlo leaned back, arms spread across the couch like a king expecting someone to bow.“I’ll be generous,” he said, voice rough with disdain. “Fifteen percent. That’s what you’re getting, Nate. Giancarlo tried to run.But he barely made it two steps before one of Nate’s men lunged forward, catching him by the back of the neck and slamming him face-first into the glass table. The sound echoed like a gunshot in the room...sharp and final. The glass cracked with a loud pop beneath the impact, splintering under his weight.
