The gates of Kryptoria were ablaze with the sounds of clashing steel and the thunder of hooves. The soldiers of Kryptoria were fighting for their lives against a horde of monsters from the dark forest.Goblins, small and wiry, darted between the legs of the soldiers, their crude knives and swords flashing in the sunlight. Minotaurs, their eyes blazing with fury, charged forward with their sharp horns, sending soldiers flying.Lizardmen, their scales glinting like gold and green jewels, fought with their sharp claws and teeth, taking down soldiers with ease. Harpies, their wings beating fiercely, swooped down from the skies, their sharp talons snatching soldiers from the ground.Orcs, their faces twisted with cruel grins, fought with their massive swords and shields, crushing soldiers beneath their feet. Berserker orcs, their eyes blazing with madness, fought with wild abandon, their swords slicing through the air with deadly precision.Centaurs, their horse bodies galloping forward wi
Chapter 62. Fall of Sandolia
Eryndor rode on Lucius' back towards Sandolia, his army of monsters marching behind him. He had with him fifty Lizardmen, fifty Goblins, fifty Minotaurs, fifty Centaurs, and fifty wind-wolves and thunderwolves. As they reached the border of Sandolia, Eryndor ordered his army to halt. He rode Lucius forward, alone, towards the gates of Sandolia."Open the gates!" Eryndor shouted, his voice echoing off the walls. "I demand to speak to your leader!"The gates creaked open, and a man stepped out. He was dressed in fine robes, and a look of disdain was on his face."Ah, Eryndor," the man said, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "The great conqueror. Or should I say, the great destroyer?"Eryndor smiled, his eyes glinting with amusement. "I am here to demand your surrender," he said. The man laughed. "Surrender? To you? Ha! You're just a monster, Eryndor. A monster with a bad haircut and a worse attitude."Eryndor's smile never wavered. "I assure you, I am quite serious," he said. The man sno
Chapter 63. Impossible battle ahead
Eryndor and his monster army returned to Kryptoria, their victory over Sandolia still fresh in their minds. As they approached the palace, Grimp, the old advisor, came out to meet them.Grimp bowed low, his eyes fixed on the ground. "Greetings, King Eryndor," he said, his voice trembling slightly. "I see you have returned victorious."Eryndor nodded, his eyes scanning Grimp's face. He saw the worry etched on his features, and his instincts told him that something was wrong."What's wrong, Grimp?" Eryndor asked, his voice firm but concerned.Grimp hesitated, his eyes darting around nervously. "It's...it's the attack, sire," he said finally. "A day after you left to destroy Sandolia, Kryptoria was attacked by.. by creatures unlike any we've ever seen."Eryndor's eyes narrowed. "What kind of creatures?" he asked, his voice cold.Grimp swallowed hard. "They were black-skinned humanoid soldiers, sire. They looked human, but they weren't human. They were more like.. shadows in human form."
Chapter 64. All out war
Inside the dark forest, outside the walls of the monster city, Elyria, the entire monster army was lined up. Veterans, trainees, and even those who hadn't stepped into the battlefield for the first time stood side by side. The entire monster army now numbered about eight thousand.Eryndor sat atop Lucius Von Blake, his colossal black wolf, and stared at the determined faces of the seasoned veterans, the excited faces of the young trainees, and the scared faces of the recruits."My dear soldiers," Eryndor began, his voice loud and clear. "Today, we stand here, ready to face a new enemy. An enemy that is unlike any we have faced before."The monster army looked at each other, their eyes filled with a mix of excitement and fear."But we are not afraid," Eryndor continued. "We are the monster army, the greatest army the world has ever known. We have conquered the Elves, Kryptoria, and Sandolia. We have never lost a battle, and we will not lose this one."The monster army cheered, their vo
Chapter 65. Defeat all round
Just as Eryndor was about to turn and retreat back to the dark forest, a snowflake gently floated down from the sky. He reached out and touched it, his eyes widening in surprise."Snow?" he muttered. The human soldiers immediately stopped fighting when they saw the snow descending. They all began to mutter that the season of Yuletide had finally come.King Ryker and King Eisblish quickly made their way to the Sorceress Lyra, their faces filled with excitement."Sorceress Lyra, we must halt the war," King Ryker said, his voice filled with urgency. "It's the season of Yuletide. War, crime, and evil vices are forbidden during this time."Sorceress Lyra scoffed, a scowl on her face. "You fools," she spat. "Do you think Eryndor and his monsters respect the Yuletide? They destroyed Sandolia and Kryptoria when you were away. Why should we show them mercy?"King Ryker's face darkened. "We too have done evil," he admitted. "We waged war against a peaceful Kingdom like Snowfall. But that does n
Chapter 66. Leaving the continent
Chapter 66. Leaving the ContinentEryndor rode his horse through the dense foliage of Elysia forest, his heart heavy with worry. He had managed to save his people, but he knew that they were not yet safe.As he approached Heartwood Palace, he could see Grand Elder Thorne and his stepbrother Lyrien waiting for him, their faces stern with disapproval."What is the meaning of this, Eryndor?" Grand Elder Thorne demanded, his voice trembling with rage. "Why have you brought war to our doorstep?"Eryndor dismounted his horse and approached the Grand Elder. "I'm afraid you're forgetting something, Grand Elder Thorne," he said, his voice firm. "The entire Elysia forest is now under my rule, and so are the elves."Lyrien's eyes narrowed. "That may be true, Eryndor," he said, "but that doesn't give you the right to bring your war to our forest."Eryndor's face was set in determination. "I'm not asking for your permission, Lyrien," he said. "I'm telling you that my people need your help. They ne
Chapter 67. Together as one
Knight Commander Adara, Princess Isabella, and the people of Kryptoria finally made it safely to the dark forest. They had been walking for hours, and the Princess was eager to meet up with Eryndor at the monster city of Elyria."Come on, everyone!" Princess Isabella urged, her voice loud and clear. "We have to run faster! We need to meet up with Eryndor at Elyria before it's too late!"But Knight Commander Adara refused to budge. "I'm sorry, Your Highness," she said, her face grim. "But I don't think that's a good idea. By now, Elyria will be overrun by the shadow soldiers of Sorceress Lyra Moonwhisper."Princess Isabella's face fell, her eyes wide with fear. "What do you mean?" she asked."I mean that Elyria is no longer safe," Knight Commander Adara explained. "Sorceress Lyra's shadow soldiers will have taken over the city by now. Our only option is to make for Elysia forest at once and meet with the elves."Princess Isabella nodded immediately, her face set in determination. "You'

LET'S CONTINUE OUR ADVENTURE AND WITNESS THIS NEW LIFEAs Eryndor, Princess Isabella, the surviving humans of Kryptoria Kingdom, the refugee monster denizens of the dark forest stepped through the portal, they felt a strange sensation wash over them. The world around them blurred and distorted, and they felt themselves being pulled apart and put back together again. When they finally emerged on the other side of the portal, they found themselves standing in a beautiful, lush forest. The trees towered above them, their leaves a vibrant green, and the air was filled with the sweet scent of blooming flowers.Eryndor looked around, his eyes wide with wonder. Chapter 69. No Way Home
Early the next morning, Eryndor woke up to find Princess Isabella sleeping beside him. He was surprised, as he couldn't remember inviting her into his tent.He stared at her, watching how peaceful she was sleeping. Her chest rose and fell with each breath, and her hair was spread out around her like a golden halo.Eryndor stood up slowly, trying not to disturb Princess Isabella. He left the tent, blinking in the bright morning sunlight.Outside, he saw a group of human males and a few orcs standing together, discussing how to hunt for food for breakfast. Eryndor called out to them."Hey, over here!" he said. The group turned to face him, and Eryndor continued, "I need you to wake everyone up and get them assembled in front of my tent. We need to discuss our plans for the day."One of the human males, a tall, muscular man with a thick beard, nodded. "Yes, sir. We'll get right on it."The group dispersed, waking up the rest of the camp. Eryndor watched as people began to emerge from the
Chapter 70. War with the locals
At noon, Eryndor was supervising the building of the fence when a human male ran up to him, panting heavily."Wait, slow down," Eryndor said, trying to calm the human male. "What's wrong? What got you all rattled up?"The human male took a few deep breaths before speaking. "We were out hunting for food, sir," he said. "But we were suddenly attacked by a group of goblins."Eryndor's expression turned serious. "What kind of goblins?" he asked. The human male hesitated before answering. "They weren't the typical green-skinned goblins we're familiar with, sir. They were gray-colored hobgoblins, as tall as a human being. And the leader of the group that attacked us...he was a head taller than a normal human, and he had a horn on his head."Grimp, who was standing nearby, stepped forward. "Perhaps that goblin is of Duke rank," he said, his eyes narrowing.Eryndor turned back to the human male. "What about the others who went with you?" he asked. "Are they okay?"The human male shook his hea
