Eryndor and his monster army returned to Kryptoria, their victory over Sandolia still fresh in their minds. As they approached the palace, Grimp, the old advisor, came out to meet them.

Grimp bowed low, his eyes fixed on the ground. "Greetings, King Eryndor," he said, his voice trembling slightly. "I see you have returned victorious."

Eryndor nodded, his eyes scanning Grimp's face. He saw the worry etched on his features, and his instincts told him that something was wrong.

"What's wrong, Grimp?" Eryndor asked, his voice firm but concerned.

Grimp hesitated, his eyes darting around nervously. "It's...it's the attack, sire," he said finally. "A day after you left to destroy Sandolia, Kryptoria was attacked by.. by creatures unlike any we've ever seen."

Eryndor's eyes narrowed. "What kind of creatures?" he asked, his voice cold.

Grimp swallowed hard. "They were black-skinned humanoid soldiers, sire. They looked human, but they weren't human. They were more like.. shadows in human form."

I gripped my knife tightly, my senses on high alert. The Darach's eyes seemed to bore into my soul, its gaze hypnotic. "You're... different," the Darach repeated, its voice low and menacing. "A threat to my existence." My heart pounded, my breath caught in my throat. "I won't back down," I said, trying to sound braver than I felt. "You've killed many innocent people, and now I can do something about it."The Darach chuckled, a low, rumbling sound. "We'll see about that." Without warning, it lunged, its massive body blurring as it struck. I tried to dodge, but the Darach's speed was incredible. Claws swiped across my chest, tearing fabric and flesh. I grunted, pain searing through my torso. I stumbled backward, knife flashing in the dim light. The Darach followed, its eyes blazing with fury. I felt dizzy from the pain, but I knew that any mistake would make me its next victim. "You should have stayed hidden," it snarled. I parried its attacks, knife slicing through the air. But the Dar

I burst out of the basement, my heart racing. The mirror's reflection still haunted me – purple eyes, blood-stained hands, and razor-sharp canines. I sprinted up the stairs, slamming my bedroom door shut behind me. Breathless, I rummaged through my worn leather bag. Amidst the chaos, a tattered book emerged. Its cover, once a deep blue, now faded to a muted gray. The pages yellowed with age. My trembling hands opened the book, revealing my mother's handwriting across the pages, a mix of ancient languages and cryptic symbols. Teachings she had shared with me before her passing.I flipped the pages until I got to the part I was searching for. My mother had once taught me about the werewolves. In fact, she had once told me that my Uncle, General Maximus Decimus, was rumored to be one of these ungodly beasts. My focus was now on this page where my mother wrote down details of werewolves."The most famous mythological account of werewolves comes from the legend of Lycaon, a king of Arcadia

Lucius spoke with a smile on his face."Well, yes.. but if you don't want to share it with me.." Eryndor said.
