Lyrra sat in her office, and today there were no clients. She was waiting for Emily to finish up so they could talk. After a little while, Emily entered and took a seat across from Lyrra's desk. "You wanted to talk to me?" Emily asked while stretching. "Yeah, I need your help with something. You have a friend who knows a friend, who has a cousin that knows another friend who is a scientist, right?" "That's a lot of friends you just mentioned! But yes, I do know someone. What do you need?" "I actually need the scientist's help. Can you tell me how to reach him?" Lyrra said. "Sure! I have his number; I can just give it to you." "Really? Emily, you're amazing! He sighed and ran his hand down his face. Just then, his phone lit up with a notification, so he picked it up and read the message. "Hi, it's Aria." He was puzzled about who it was until he remembered the girl from the club. He was surprised to see a message from her because he had completely forgotten about her, and only one person could have shared his number. "Andrew," he muttered under his breath. Another notification came in. "I know you read my message and ignoring it, but I will keep messaging you until you respond." Eryn rolled his eyes and blocked her. "I'm going to get him when he comes back." "Oh, he blocked me? I'll just have to try again," Aria said with a smile. "Miss Aria, are you listening?" her assistant asked. Aria looked up from her phone. "No, clear my schedule for this week and next week; I wo
