The Trip
Blaze sat on the edge of his bed, he appeared to be in a daze as he gazes at his reflection on the mirror. "Where did I go wrong?" Blaze asked no one in particular as he sinks his head onto his palms. He was seated at the edge of his bed. He sighs raising his head to look at his reflection on the mirror. "That's what you get for being a decent guy, Blaze... I gave my world and time to her and what did she do?" Blaze gritted his teeth as he balled his fist. "She cheated on me, with that asshole of a manager!" He yelled from the bottom of his belly as he yanks his head. "Six years! Six long years of memories, laughter and love, destroyed in an instant, how could you do this to me... To us, Suzie!?" Blaze huffed before taking a deep breath to calm himself. "Pain is the only truth that sticks..." He muttered to himself silently. He couldn't shake the image of seeing her together with her department manager in their own bed. "What's worse, she didn't even pretend to be sorry for he
Transmigration.
"Ugh..." Blaze's eyes fluttered as he regained consciousness. "Where am I?" He moved his body only a little but alas he felt the brunt of his fall. A sharp and burning pain engulfed his entire body. He groaned profoundly as he robbed his cheeks, stomach, and back. He winced at the tender feeling that greeted him. "Everywhere hurts." "No kidding, did you expect me to pull back my punches, dumbass?" Blaze turned to the direction of the voice, wincing in pain. His gaze fell upon a boy. The Boy's facial expression was nothing pleasant. His features were contorted in anger. "You good for nothing douchebag!" Blaze blinked twice over the boy's manner. He struggled to make sense of his surroundings, his mind was still foggy from the fall. "Who are you?" The boy bursted into laughter, "Did I give you an amnesia with the beating?" "My name is Colt, don't forget the name of the kid who just whooped your sorry punk ass." Blaze gasped realising that the pain he was currently experienc
New Identity.
"Alright, let's take a moment to make sense of the memories I just saw..." Blaze couldn't quite make out everything he saw just yet, his heart sank over some of the things he saw. "I'm an orphan here... A member of the Crimson Stigma Clan which is located in the Reservation Cave or whatever they call it. Geez, the people of this world sure know how to pick a name." Here, the kids would join a special ceremony. If they passed, they'd become Stigma Warriors and get lots of good stuff. People thought Stigma Warriors were meant for big things. But for those who didn't pass, it was tough. They'd have to do hard work and face danger, with no chance of glory because they didn't make it.Blaze realized the gravity of his situation."My Vessel is ten years old and will no longer be eligible for the Clan's provisions. Just great, I'm left to fend for myself in a world that I know very little of, a dangerous world that quite frankly offers little mercy to those deemed unworthy." His Vessel's
The Mark.
After Blaze finished his meal, he lied down to gaze at the night sky through the opening of the cave. He was basking in the massively large moon up in the sky. "Wow," Blaze whispered, awe coloring his voice as he marveled at the spectacle before him. "I've never seen anything like it."Suddenly, another celestial body emerged. It was a smaller red moon on the distant horizon. Blaze couldn't help but develop a feeling of uneasiness. " What's that? An illusion?" he murmurs, his voice tinged with apprehension.Unlike its larger counterpart, which bears a resemblance to the moon of Earth albeit magnified in scale, the smaller red moon didn't sit well with Blaze. Each time a dark red spot materializes upon its surface, he felt his body growing weaker. "Something's not right," he mutters, his brows furrowing in concern.Blaze's suspicions were confirmed after he surveyed the cave. The once lively group of orphans were on their knees wincing in pain and crying out loud. Blaze gasped as
An Old Friend
Chapter 4: . Blaze wasted no time in seizing the opportunity to catch up with the hunting group ahead of him. But even as he pressed onward, his thoughts lingered on the strange string of energy that had surged forth from his tattooed hand. "I should examine the tattoo later, joining the hunting party comes first." Blaze decided to postpone his investigation until he was done with the hunt. The Nine-headed dragon mark stopped glowing as Blaze's speed dropped down. However that didn't bother him. "There they are!" He cheered spotting them a few meters ahead. "I can reach them with my usual speed now." His excitement was cut short when a giant boar suddenly pounced out from the bushes. It was twice as tall as Blaze. The beast let out a massive roar as it's eyes was fixed on Blaze. "Yep, I really am the most misfortunate soul in two universes." Blaze was frozen in fear, his mind went blank as his body refused to listen to him. That was until the beast charged at him. On pure in
Awakening 1.
Blaze was lying down inside a large tent, the hunting party had arrived at a safe point where they always used for shelter during the hunting trip. Blaze raised his left hand to look at the Nine-headed dragon mark. "The Dragon mark hasn't glowed since that time. What could possibly be the trigger?" Blaze remembered the buff he got when the mark glowed, how strong he got and how good it felt. "Is that how an awakened feels?" Blaze was from a world different to this one, it lacked supernatural aspects and as such, he had never experienced anything like this even in both worlds. "If I want to have any hopes at surviving in this world, I must find a way to harness the power of the mark. But how?" He thought about what had happened when the mark glowed before. "I was exhausted, barely able to breath but most especially, I was desperate and determine to catch up with the hunting party." Could it be that the mark is tied directly to Blaze' will? The night felt long for Blaze. He cou
Defeat The Three Stigma Warriors.
Blaze woke up to find himself in a different area than the last time. "Ugh, now where did that annoying spirit bring me?" As if to answer his question, Hydra appeared beside him. "Hold your horses. You're still in Limbo. Your trial is to fight and defeat an InStigma warrior such as yourself. I've conjured one already," He explained pointing to a man with Red hair. "This is Drax of the Red Fist, an InStigma warrior born 20 years ago. Of course this is but a mere projection of him but he is powerful. Your task is to defeat him." After he finished, he snapped his fingers and disappeared. Drax glanced at Blaze. "What are you waiting for lightweight? Let's get this party started!" Blaze blinked. "What? Cat got your tongue?" "Sorry, I was just amazed by the level of personality a dummy such as yourself was given." "Dummy?" Flames burned around Drax. "I am no dummy! I am Drax of the Red Fist and I will burn you in your tracks." "Blah blah blah, let's fight already." Drax's knuckles
The Spear.
"Well," Says Blaze as he created a pair of Stigma Force blades. They resembled his Stigma Force Daggers."Aren't you going to come at me?"The spectators from the previous fight were transported to the arena as well. One of them gasped. "He can use Stigma Force manipulation to that level?"Gae spin his spear around his head. The spear began to glow a radiant golden light. Blaze blocked his eyes from the light. He gasps. "Tck, a Sig Item." Blaze learned that Sig Items were powerful Sig-Items that could achieve tremendous feats. The once old-looking spear made with bones transformed into a regal spear with a Stigma orb at the hilt. Blaze was caught off guard. He had heard of such abilities before but had never seen one use them. Nor heard of anybody that has awakened their Sig-Item. To most people, including Blaze... It was a myth to awaken a Sig-Item because Sig-Items were evil and brought the world to its knees once. Until the hero of legend learned to harness Stigma Force, a te
The Final Trial Battle.
The arena was filled with Many Spirits now, they've all come to witness the conclusion to Blaze' fight. The dust settles revealing Blaze and Gae. Blaze was bleeding heavingly. Gae gasped. "Impossible!" "I am the impossible!" Blaze yells striking a big blow knocking Gae out. Hydra's voice echoed. "And the winner, Blaze!" The predecessors and other Stigma spirits cheered for him as Hydra appeared before him. "There are other forces trying to invade Limbo, prepare yourselves everyone. However, the final battle will still continue. Your next opponent is Zedra - The King of Thunder!" Blaze and Zeldra were facing each other in the arena. They both wote wide smiles on their faces. "So, you're Hydra's next chosen one?" "Seems like it." "That it is, Blaze. I look forward to a memorable battle with you." Zeldra streches his arm for the Mark Bearer. Much to the crowd's amazement, the two of them share a handshake. "I'm going to win but, yeah, good luck, Zeldra." "My, this is the mo
The Result.
"Hurry!" Reginald and Keith were running through the halls of the castle as they turned around to yell at Shuntal who was catching his breath. "I am not as energetic as you youngins!" He snapped back at them. "Sorry." They said in unison. "It'll take time before I can summon Ada and recover all my strength." "Great, now we're stuck here. I can't teleport us out of here unless I know we're all at a hundred. We might just appear in a battlefield.""Argh!" Reginald yanks his hair. He had reverted to his normal form and was holding his hat."We're so close. I'm so close." The thoughts of seeing his friends again made him impatient. "You there!" A guard spotted them and sounded the alarm. It didn't take long before the three of them were surrounded. "Tck, we've got company." Keith said. "Oh goodie, your eyes work." "Why don't I put you out of your misery and be done with all this?" "Ehem!" Shuntal cleared his throat to get their attention. "If you two are done fighting amongst y
