Chapter 98
98. Zalaria did not waste time in going. The moment she left the palace gates, she stopped pretending to be a regular respectful woman and started running towards the direction of the hills with remarkable speed. The way Adrian had spoken terrified her, even though she had pretended to be calm. She had never seen him so agitated. "If anything happens to that girl..." She muttered under her breath. "He will lose his mind." She could still feel Adrian's urgency and fear. That alone made her uneasy. She shook her head and sighed. "If only I had family like this to help me..." Zalaria slowed down when she got to mansion, searching for something to help her speed up. She heard something snap and looked up. "Yeah, something is wrong." She whispered before she stopped completely. "Show yourselves! Don't insult me with stealth, I know you're here!" She commanded. For a second, it was almost like she was speaking to herself and the surrounding greenery. Them she felt a who

99. "You know what, I can see why the princess adored you. You're so big and rough when you want something." She taunted. "Perhaps you can fuck the information out of me." Viola ran her tongue over her lips. "I definitely wouldn't want to miss out on the Adrian Blackwood." Adrian did not wait for another word before his hand went forward and closed around Viola's throat. He slammed her back against the wall, hissing. "WHERE THE FUCK IS MY SISTER?" He was shaking, his voice, his hands. He wasn't fooling around. But Viola did not panic, she didn't even look worried, at least. She only smiled. "There it is..." She whispered, her voice strained but amused. "That look suits you so fucking well, Adrian." Adrian's grip tightened against her throat. "Talk." "Or what?" She gasped, chuckling in spite of his hold. "You'll do what you couldn't do before?" "Don't test me." "You couldn't even save the princess..." She drawled. "And you think you can save your sister?"
Chapter 100
100. Adrian clenched his teeth as he fell and let the darkness swallow him whole. He felt the wind rushing past his ears and his heart pumping aggressively. He closed his eyes and wondered when the hell he was going to land. THUD! He finally hit the ground painfully, the impact causing pain in his spine and tailbone. Dust rose around him, but he just lay there for a few seconds Groaning, he sat up in pain. "Fuck... what is this place?” His system was silent now and he scoffed. Rolling onto his side, he pushed himself up slowly, wincing as his shoulder hurt. "That was not a smart idea." He looked up and saw nothing. There was no sky nor light. All he could see was darkness so thick that he could almost touch it. It felt like he had fallen into a huge, closed grave. "Great. From one prison to another." He laughed at the irony. The blue started to glow on his skin, providing him with a bit of light while obviously reacting with something. This place wasn't normal, to

101. Adrian continued chanting, not caring that his eyes were blurry and his heart was about to tear itself apart. "... and as I pass through the shadows, all I see belong to me, ea waraë dua lipa..." The markings on his body were blazing now, like hot blue fire burning under and over his skin. The ground beneath his feet began to crack and the scroll floated in front of him, spinning slowly as the words on it began to glow. [WARNING: HIGH RISK SPELL!] He raised his other hand, forcing more energy into the spell. I don't have time for fear or worry, he thought. The chamber began to shake violently and dust fell from the ceiling. The walls of bones shook, almost like they were going to collapse. "Macy... I'm coming." The symbols beneath him lit up in a circle, spreading outwards in beams of light. Then everything started to warp. This was nothing like anything Adrian had ever felt. It felt like his body was being pulled apart and stitched back together at the same time.
Chapter 102
102. Orion couldn’t move from where he was standing. For the first time since Adrian had seen him, the man looked truly shaken. "Oh no no no!" Orion muttered under his breath. Another roar came through, rattling the chains and shaking the walls. Adrian stood still, looking around. "You're going to start explaining right now." He said coldly. Orion shook his head quickly. "No, we need to move." "Move to where?" Adrian snapped. "You were chained in here and asked me to help you. Now you're saying this without telling me what's happening." "Listen buddy, it's coming for both of us! If you can, put me back on the walls or have us run." Adrian glared at him, the clear disbelief in his eyes. "What the fuck, do you think this is a trick? What sort of magic do you think I practice?" "If you're playing me to escape, Orion..." "I'm not!" Orion cut him off. "I swear on whatever you want, I'm not!" Adrian grabbed him by the collar again, pulling him close. "If you
Chapter 103
103. The room smelled of medicinal incense, Henry noted as he walked in. A new kind. They must have decided to switch things up. He went to stand by the bed, looking down at his father's still body. The king looked wrong, like the dead pretending to be alive. Better still, a statue. Prince Henry ran a hand through his hair and scoffed. "You've got to be fucking kidding me." As usual, there was no response from the king. "Do you hear all this shit going on outside?" Henry snapped. "Or are you just enjoying your little nap while everything goes to shit?" Still nothing from the unconscious man. Henry laughed mirthlessly. "Yeah. That's what I thought." He went closer, gripping the edge of the bed. "Do you even know what you left me with, father?” He asked. “A dead princess and a missing suspect. I’m in a palace, no, a kingdom full of idiots ready to tear each other apart! And guess who gets to deal with it?" He beat his chest. “Me. This is all your fault, father!
Chapter 104
104. Zalaria hung from the ceiling and her wrists were bound by glowing ropes that dug into her skin, leaving bruises. She could easily tell that they were magical from how they pulsed every few seconds, sending bits of shock through her arms regularly. "Fuck!" She hissed as another shock went through the wounds in her wrists. If only her feet could touch the ground, she thought, then this would be tolerable. But then again, the goal was to torture her so... Around her, four mages stood in a circle, their hands glowing and their tired eyes dropping as they maintained the spell. None of them spoke and they weren't blinking normally. Creepy, Zalaria thought. The door to the torture chamber opened. Zalaria didn't bother lifting her head as the scent of Ciara's perfume hit her nose. "Took you long enough." She said dryly. "You're still talking?" Ciara's asked, annoyed. "You really don't know when to shut up." Zalaria let out a weak laugh. "And you really don't know w
Chapter 105
105. As the figure moved closer, there was another explosion. Dust and building parts fell from walls and the ceiling, and Zalaria coughed weakly. “Just kill me already.” Ciara stood up, looking around. "I said show yourself!" She snapped again. "Or I will have you dragged out and—" "You talk too much." The voice was calm and insulting. "And I don't take orders from a common servant with no class." Ciara stiffened up. "What did you just say to me?” The smoke cleared up and they saw her boots first. Zalaria’s ryes widened slightly in spite of the pain. "Well I'll be damned. Maybe I’m dead.” Ciara's face drained up. "Y-you!” She stuttered. "That's not possible!” The woman stood fully in view now, Lady G. She was alive, and she looked unbothered looking like she hadn't even broken a sweat coming here. The mages around Zalaria reacted instantly, dropping to one knee. "Lady G." "Lady G." "My lady..." Ciara turned to them angrily. "What the fuck is
Chapter 106
106. Ciara’s eyes opened and she looked around as if in a daze. The first thing she noticed was the softness under her back instead of the cold floor of the torture chamber. No, she was on a real bed covered in silk sheets that smelled of expensive perfume, and a hint of smoke? How odd. It was then that she remembered that she didn’t remember getting into this bed, or any other bed for that matter. She sat up quickly, looking around. Her body ached and her head hurt. She threw off the covers to walk away but what she saw shook her to the core. The clothes she had on. These weren’t hers! The outfit was climging to her skin. It was thin, looked expensive, and was revealing. She had on a red crimson top that barely held her full breasts with the lowest of necklines. And the skirt was made of a black fabric with a split high up both her thighs. Ciara couldn’t believe it. She got up and looked to her left. There was an open wardrobe with so many clothing articles, and full wall
Chapter 107
107. Ciara sat up, looking around, but there was no sign of Maverick. Just seconds ago, Maverick had been right beside her. Where the fuck did he go? She got off the bed, wrapping the sheets around hwr body. "Maverick? Are you there?" She called out. "Maverick?" She looked around the room again, her chest rising and falling faster now. "Okay, that is not funny. Where the hell did you go?" Looking around the room, she saw a shower built in. She walked into it and cleaned herself up, sighing as she remembered how Maverick touched her body. Picking up the shower head, she touched herself till she came again. Ciara dressed up and walked out of the room. She was hesitant to, at first, but when she opened the door, what she saw took her breath away. It was massive and well decorated, and that was just the outside. "What the fuck?" Ciara walked out slowly, looking at everything. This place was huge. Bigger than any palace she had ever seen before, and she had seen many pa
