Chapter 1: Chances Of Encountering An Infected
"Erwin! Get back here right now! I'm not done with you!" His father's voice boomed across the dusty courtyard, but Erwin was already halfway to the gate, his massive backpack bouncing against his shoulders. Einstein, his petite sparrow perched on the shoulder straps of the backpack, dug his tiny claws in tighter. "You know the rules!" His father thundered. "No talking to villagers about the food. No shortcuts through the woods. And absolutely no—" "Yeah, yeah, I got it!" Erwin spun around, walking backwards with a cocky grin. "Don't worry, old man. I'm eighteen, not eight. I know what I'm doing." "That's exactly what worries me," his mother called from the balcony. "Last time you 'knew what you were doing,' you nearly got caught smuggling grain to the Henderson family." "But I didn't get caught, did I?" Erwin shot back, giving them a thumbs up. "Trust me. I'll be back with water from Kingdom Avalanche in five days. Maybe four if I take my shortcut." "No shortcuts!" both parents
Chapter 2: The Might Of An infected
'No. I can't die like this. Never like this.' Erwin didn't know where or how the strength came about, but like a sudden surge, he felt his muscles roaring back to life—not stronger, but... more aware. His vision sharpened, but not like putting on glasses. Instead, he could see patterns in the air, showing invisible trails of movement that haven't happened. It was like watching someone mime a fight in slow motion while his body moved at normal speed. 'What is this?' Erwin's mind raced even as his body launched from its sitting position. 'I'm not faster. I'm not stronger. So why—' The infected turned, noticing its prey was moving again. However, Erwin's axe was already mid-swing. '—why can I see what you're going to do before you do it?' The blade bit into shadow-flesh. The infected's eyes widened—it had predicted Erwin would stay down. Erwin had predicted where its neck would be. Two predictions. Only one was right. Splash! Blood painted Erwin's face instantly as his axe penet
Chapter 3: Immortal Dragon Incarnate
"Congratulations, Einstein, the Immortal Dragon Incarnate. You will be teleported into Realm X shortly..." That was the last statement that came from the portal before Erwin's body was hurled into it along with Einstein—the sparrow... no, the Immortal Dragon Incarnate, apparently. The words didn't make sense, but then again, nothing about the last few minutes had made sense. A blinding white glow consumed his vision for a moment after phasing through the portal. The sensation was so odd he nearly felt sick. Then he was greeted by a strange atmosphere, calm and peaceful. [ENTERING REALM X] [Dimensional Essence System - Adapting] [New Environment: Cosmic Assembly] [Warning: Power levels here far exceed current user capabilities] When he finally felt his feet touch solid ground, and when he vision finally cleared from the blinding light of his teleportation, what he saw first made his jaw drop in shock. It wasn't just what he saw first, either. It was everything he was seeing as
Chapter 4: Into The Arcane Tower
[Quest Complete: Enter the Arcane Tower] [Reward: +100 EXP] [Total EXP: 150/200] The tower stood so tall they couldn't see the peak anymore after coming close. They couldn't see the edge of its width either. It was simply massive at this point, far beyond what anyone could have predicted when viewing it from afar. The entrance gate, that would have been impossible to see from the distance they had come from, was surprisingly so massive now that they were close that it covered more than half of the sky visible above them. Moving through the door was like moving through a portal again, but the feeling was bland compared to the violent teleportation that had brought him here. The space inside was, unsurprisingly at this point, even larger than the outside suggested. Far beyond what the scope of the exterior suggested. The space Einstein and Erwin found themselves in could easily be described as a pocket dimension. "Fundamentally, this is how Realm X is crafted," Einstein explaine
Chapter 5: The Culling Game Begins
[BATTLEFIELD #47 - THE SHATTERED LANDS] Erwin materialized in chaos. The battlefield was a nightmare landscape of floating rock platforms suspended over an endless void. Some platforms were big enough to be compared to city blocks. Others were barely large enough to stand on. Chains of dark energy connected the platforms like bridges that looked solid. The sky above was a swirling mass of purple and black clouds, occasionally split by lightning. This was like a freaking horror movie. [Welcome to Battlefield #47] [Overall Participants: 10,000] [Participant in Battle Field: 50] [Current Safe Zone: All platforms] [First Zone Shrink: 29:47] [Kills: 0] [Points: 0] [Current Rank: 5,000/10,000] Erwin landed on one of the mid-sized platforms, his knees bending to absorb the impact instinctively. Around him, other participants were materializing in flashes of light. Some landed gracefully. Others stumbled. One unfortunate creature materialized at the edge of a platform and immed
Chapter 6: The Chaos To Be Unfold
[Time Elapsed: 47 Minutes] [Participants Remaining in Battlefield #47: 31/50] [Overall Participants Remaining: 7,234/10,000] [Your Kills: 4] [Your Points: 387] [Current Rank: 1,892/10,000] Erwin's breathing was ragged, his body covered in cuts and bruises that screamed with every movement. The battle axe felt heavier now, sticky with blood from creatures he'd rather not remember. Four kills. Four beings who had fought for their own survival, their own stakes, their own desperate reasons to reach the top of this tower. And he'd ended them. The black fog had started moving fifteen minutes ago, consuming the outer platforms with terrifyingly. Anyone caught in it didn't even have time to scream, they just... stopped existing. The battlefield had shrunk by nearly thirty percent, forcing the remaining participants closer together. The fights were becoming more frequent, more desperate. "You're doing well," Einstein said, though his voice carried no enthusiasm. "Rank 1,892 is soli
Chapter 7: Chaos To Be Unfold
The battlefield had become a nightmare of floating debris and collapsing platforms. What had started as a sprawling arena of hundreds of rock formations was now reduced to maybe twenty stable platforms, all clustered toward the center. The black fog had consumed everything else. Erwin crouched behind a jagged outcropping, his breathing labored. Blood dripped from a gash across his shoulder as evidence of the aftermath of a particularly vicious reptilian creature he'd barely managed to kill ten minutes ago. [HP: 56/100] He'd leveled up three more times, but the increased health pool didn't mean much when he kept getting injured faster than he could heal. He had one health potion left. One. And at least four more hours of this hell. "Your rank is good," Einstein said, hovering beside him. The sphere's usual blue glow had dimmed, even he seemed exhausted by the constant violence. "687 out of 10,000 according to your token. You're almost in the top 500 now, but you must kill one high
Chapter 8: The Final Hour
[Time Remaining: 58 Minutes] [Participants Remaining Overall: 1,247/10,000] [Your Current Rank: 287/10,000] Erwin had spent the last three hours hiding, watching, waiting. His defensive position had served him well, only twice had anyone attempted to attack him, and even then, he'd managed to drive the creatures away without killing them. But now, with less than an hour left, everything was changing. The battlefield had been reduced to a single massive platform, maybe fifty meters across. The black fog surrounded them on all sides like a wall of instant death that had consumed everything else. Six participants remained in Battlefield #47, all forced into close proximity. The tension was suffocating. "This is bad," Einstein whispered, hovering close to Erwin's shoulder. "Really, really bad." "No ki
Chapter 9: First Ascension
[Time Remaining: 00:03:47] [Participants Remaining Overall: 512/10,000] The final minutes ticked down with agonizing slowness. Erwin sat against the rock, watching the timer on his token count down. His whole body ached with bruises, cuts and exhaustion. But he was alive. The lunar elf sat nearby, her silver eyes closed in meditation. Ironclad Vex remained kneeling, its sensors dimmed to conserve energy. "Three minutes," Einstein said softly. "Just three more minutes." Erwin didn't respond. He was too focused on the projection from his token—his parents, still human, still safe. His mother was reading a book. His father watching the balcony with lost gaze. Everything was normal. [System Notification - Global Announcement] [FINAL COUNTDOWN INITIATED] [Current survivors: 512] [Required survivors: 500] [12 participants will be eliminated at time expiration] [Participants ranked 501-512 are currently in elimination zone] Erwin's blood ran cold. Twelve people were about to los
Chapter 10: The Hunting Grounds
*"Floor 1: The Culling has been Completed."* *"Erwin Veridian, you have been acknowledged as a Challenger with true potential for godhood."* *"Your Essence Energy is Awakening. Dimensional abilities detected."* *"Transition to Rest Chamber Commencing."* [Trial Complete] [Calculating Results…] The timer hit zero, and Erwin's vision went white. [Dimensional Transfer in Progress…] [Loading Rest Chamber…] When awareness returned, Erwin found himself lying on a smooth, cold floor. Not the cracked earth of the fake village, not the blood-soaked battlefield where he'd killed ten people to survive. Somewhere else entirely. The room was circular and surprisingly comfortable with white walls that seemed to glow with soft light, creating an environment that felt both sterile and oddly peaceful. Unlike the infinite white void he'd first arrived in, this space had clear boundaries: walls, a ceiling, and a single sealed doorway. In one corner stood a small table laden with
