FALLING INTO KELLY'S TRAP
Kyle’s voice echoed through the hallway, sharp and wounded, cutting deeper than any blade could.Beth froze a few steps behind him, her chest tightening as she struggled to find the right words.“It wasn’t what you think,” she said, her voice trembling despite her effort to stay composed.Kyle let out a hollow laugh and slowly turned around. “Then what is it, Beth? Because from where I’m standing, it looks exactly like what he said.”“It’s complicated—”“No,” he cut in, his eyes dark with frustration. “It’s not complicated. You either told me the truth… or you didn’t.”Beth swallowed hard. “I was going to tell you.”“When?” he fired back instantly. “After I proposed? After your family found out? Or maybe after he showed up and humiliated me in front of everyone?”His words hit their mark. Beth flinched.“I didn’t want to lose you,” she admitted softly.Kyle’s expression hardened. “So you decided to lie instead?”“I didn’t lie!” she snapped, her emotions finally spilling over. “I just…
IS THIS TRUE LOVE?
Kyle felt betrayal the worst way. He thought Beth was different. He thought she understood him, but after hearing she had dated Adrian before, he felt really broken. "Stop," he said from between the sheets. Kelly froze midair. "Don't you like it?" she said with a weird look on her face. "We can't do this. "Don't you get it?" Kyle said, trying to draw up his pants. "What? Why?" Kelly asked "Ohmy god! Are you asking me that? You are my sister, Kelly. I don't know how we are connected, but you are family," he said, staring at her pointed breast. "Fuck!" Kelly said, running her hands through her messy hair. The room was a bit tense as both of them said nothing. Their hard breathing could be heard with their chest rising and falling at a steady pace. "You don't need to think about it," Kelly finally said. "Think about Tara or better still think about Beth." Kyle frowned the moment she mentioned her name. Kelly, sensing his attitude, immediately moved closer. "Itdoesn't matter w
UNFORGIVEN APOLOGIES
The next day at school was a whirlwind of gossip. "Did you hear it too?" Kyle was thrown out of Henderson's mansion. I heard Beth's father only approved of Adrian as a potential son-in-law." "Does that mean Adrian is dating Beth?" "Well, it is time Kyle knows his place. Or what does that mean?" "What about Tara? Does that mean she is a size chick?" Kyle had his backpack strapped well as he walked through the midst of the noise.Zack, who had been waiting for a while, rushed forwards towards him and grabbed his hands. "We need to talk," he said, staring into his eyes. "The rumors, are they true?" Kyle looked around and felt so small. He had thought things with Beth were going to be different, but he was back to square one yet again.Kyle sighed. "Yes. He was at the dinner date with Beth and her family," he said, scratching his temple. Zack frowned. "What?" What about the fact that he and Beth dated? Do you know?" Kyle shook his head slightly. "I think I got played once again,
A CHANCE TO PROVE HIMSELF
Zack rang Kyle's phone several times, but there was no answer. He gave up after a while and went back into class. Meanwhile, Kyle went to Justin's gym. He met him busy with some of his clients the moment he walked in. "Ah! My man!" Justin said with a smile around his eyes. "Give me a second and I will be with you, Kyle. In the meantime, get ready. We have a lot of work to do." Kyle immediately went into the locker room to change into his practice dress. As he wrapped his fingers, his mind went back to the deep kiss he shared with Kelly. His heart thudded faster the moment he thought about it. He had never felt the same with any lady. Not Tara and definitely not Beth. Kyle remembered how good it felt and how dangerous it was. Things could go really bad for him if Arthur finds out that he has been. screwing his own sister right under his nose. He shakes his head slightly, trying to get the thought out of his head. "Are you alright, man?" Kyle turned to see a kid around his age
A CLEAR MESSAGE
Kyle froze. For a moment, everything Justin had just told him about fighting, about courage, about not running collapsed into a heavy silence. He stared at the message with his hand clenched into a fist form. Kyle was not sure who had sent the message. It could be from anyone. Stephan's, Adrian's, or even Justin's sworn enemies. The words were scratched violently across the side of his car, deep enough to tear through the paint and expose the metal beneath. One of the headlights was shattered, glass scattered like broken ice across the garage floor. The windshield had a spider web crack running from the center outward, as if someone had struck it with full force.Kyle’s jaw tightened. This wasn’t random. This wasn’t a prank. This was a message.A warning. Kyle took his time to look through the damages. It felt more personal. Kyle stepped closer to the car, his fingers brushing lightly against the carved words. The rough edges scraped his skin, and he clenched his fist.A surge of
FIRST TRUE FIGHT WITH THE SCHOOL BULLIES
Stephan didn’t rush. He has this grin on his face that showed he was going to enjoy what was happening soon. He walked like the world belonged to him, like every step he took bent the ground slightly beneath his weight. The three boys behind him were having broad-shoulders. They were known across the school for leaving others bloodied and broken. They also moved in sync, their presence alone was enough to silence half the whispers in the crowd. The chatter died down.A thick tension settled in the air.Kyle didn’t move. His eyes were locked on Stephan, unblinking, cold, and burning all at once. The anger that had been simmering inside him now surged to the surface, raw and unfiltered.Stephan stopped a few feet away, tilting his head slightly as if examining something beneath him.“Kyle,” he said, his voice calm, almost amused. “I was wondering when you’d show up.”Kyle took a slow step forward.“Did you do it?” he asked, his voice low, dangerous.A murmur rippled through the crowd.
KYLE RISES IN NAME AND FAME AT SCHOOL
The moment the crowd dispersed, Kyle fell to his knees. His side was bleeding from the injury he had when he fought Adrian.Zack rushed towards him; his face was a little worried. "Must you always throw your fist to settle everything?" he asked Kyle looked up just in time to see the four of them staring. Tara was looking at him with a worried look on his face. Beth was standing by the school pole, her eyes betraying the worried look in them, and also, there was Kelly, who felt sorry to see Kyle bleeding. But the most important gaze was the one it was coming from. Adrian. His looks were a bit vicious. He turned and walked away the moment he saw Kyle was staring at him. Belinda, who was a passer-by, saw the crowd dispersing and decided to check out what was happening. Her eyebrows were arched the moment she saw it was Kyle. She moved closer with her arms folded. "Were you ever going to listen to what I told you?" she asked Kyle raised his head up slowly; he raised his palm to block
KYLE TRENDING
Zack moved closer to Kyle. "See this," he said, shoving the phone in his face. "What is this?" Kyle asked "This is a poll. A vote is being cast for you and Adrian right now," he said with a smile on his face. Kyle winced. "Is that a good thing or a bad thing?" he asked again.Zack ran his hands through his hair. "You should be glad you have me as your friend. This right here means you and Adrian are the number one richest students in the school, and not only that, this poll will decide who gets the key to everything." Kyle looked across the field, and he could see many of the students talking at once. Some of them stare at him while others simply smile when they walk past him. "Kyle all this way." "We love you, Kyle!" "Go! Go!" Some of the students ran towards him to get his autograph. Kyle froze at each time he had to sign on to their school textbooks or even their handout. Zack simply rested his back on the pole right behind him, his face plastered with a satisfactory look
THE RIFT ( ALL OUT FIGHT BETWEEN KYLE AND ADRIAN)
Kyle froze the moment he saw Beth in Adrian's arms. He could not believe Beth just repeated the same thing Tara did to him. "Beth!" he shouted with anger. But Beth didn't answer; she merely kissed Adrian passionately. Kyle's chest rises and falls as he locks eyes with Adrian, who seems to be enjoying himself. Zack rushed towards Kyle's voice and stopped midway when he saw what was going on. He knew Kyle was going to engage in a fight so he immediately ran towards Kyle and pulled him back. "Don't! She is not worth it. She had made her choice, and you need to make yours too." Zack said, staring at Kyle. Kyle simply stood still watching the two of them. Without saying another word, he turned back and walked away with Zack trailing behind him. As they walked, Zack said nothing. He could feel the anger that was radiating around Kyle. He knew the best thing to do was keep quiet. After a while, they both stopped. "Do you want to talk about it?" Zack asked. "No. I think I am good. B
LIVING IN THE MANSION
Kyle felt a bit shocked. His grandfather had never sent words to have him brought over to the house. It felt strange. Kyle looked at Tara before she gaze drifted back to the man in black suit. " Is he alright?" he asked " I am not in any position to give out information. Mr Arthur was specific when he asked me to bring you home." the man said with a bow. " Guess our little conversation is over here, Tara. I will see you around." Kyle said without a second thought. He walked away from Tara and walked towards Zack who was having a puzzled look on his face. " Is everything alright?" Zack asked, his gaze scanning the man standing before it went back to Kyle. " I don't know what is going on but my grandfather just asked me to come home." " Why? Is there a reason he sent for you?" Zack looked at him, his hands tightening around his school bag pack. Kyle looked back, " I am not sure, buddy. But whatever the reason, it better be good." " Chat me if you need me." Zack said finally.
