The motor finally came to a stop in front of the hospital building, and Ken switched off the engine before removing his helmet. The journey had been considerably more peaceful this time, mainly because he had insisted on driving himself rather than allowing Conal to take the handlebars again.Conal, who had spent most of the ride sitting behind him with both hands gripping the sides of the seat, seemed to have recovered from the trauma of their earlier accident. He took a deep breath, stretched his arms, and looked at the hospital entrance."See? We arrived safely. I told you I wouldn't cause any trouble this time."Ken turned to look at him."You weren't the one driving.""Details, Ken. Details."Before Ken could respond, the hospital's main entrance opened, and his mother emerged from inside. She spotted the two young men standing beside the motorbike and immediately walked toward them, her expression brightening when she recognized Conal."Conal? What are you doing here?""Auntie!"
