Chapter one: War God returns
"Trat! Trat! Trat! The deep mechanical sound of formations of helicopters tore through the night, fan blades spinning violently and vibrating the air as three black helicopters descended slowly from the sky in perfect military formation. As soon as the helicopter touched the ground, the door slid open and men dressed in military uniforms, rifles set in their hand— about twenty of them poured out of the two helicopters and stood in a horizontal line, scanning the whole suburb with military precision that was inherent through training that most people couldn't survive and otherwise made a few that survived sharp. The twenty men stood at ease, chin raised, eyes steady on the middle helicopter— Deep Black Polish with no letterings. They were expecting someone. Someone Powerful. Finally the door slid open and a lone figure appeared at the entrance, rappelling down the helicopter like a ghost. Jaxon Monroe. Tall with height imposed about 6'ft2, his jaw set in determination, ey
Chapter two: Darius Voss
The men looked at each other in surprise. The biggest who spoke earlier stared hard at Jaxon in anger now, his face twisted in disgust of seeing an ant buzz before his face. "Tough talk from the kid." He snickered. The other men giggled. "It is a command, kid," he toned, his voice getting rough and dangerous. "refuse it again and you'll die." "Have you not heard it?" "That?" "Jaxon Monroe doesn't take command from any bloody human." He said with a faint smirk that wasn't cold amusement— dangerous than any anger expression. "I ask you, what business did you have with the woman?" His voice was calm. "You p*ssy," the biggest guy snarled, his fist cracking at his side. "you have no f*cking business asking us stupid questions!" The biggest guy grabbed Jaxon by the collar to throw him away from the place. To his surprise, Jaxon's feet didn't move an inch. Only his collar wrinkled under his grip. The man paused in shock at the outcome, looking down to his feet maybe there wa
Chapter three: Heats.
When Sandra finally woke up from the bed, her vision was wrong but it doesn't matter to her because her body was on fire— burning from inside where sexual hormone kicked into aggression that overrides control, instinct and modesty. "Why am I feeling so hot." She squirmed. In the following second, her gown was down, leaving her in white underwear, her body stark, skin flushing under artificial illuminant. Between her legs, something throbbed inside. "Ah." That was when the door opened and Jaxon walked inside the room. He closed the door gently and turned, slightly shocked to see the woman he saved tossing on the bed in discomfort he immediately understood. Sandra's eyes snapped the door. Their eyes collided and the effect felt physical on her. Like he was everything the water to extinguish the inferno raging inside of her. She dashed across the room with a stupifying speed and pushed him against the wall. Their body collided. Her arms wrapped around his head, finger threadi
Chapter four: Sandra Sinclair
Consciousness returned gradually less than twenty four hours after insanity and slumber. Sandra opened her eyes gently to see golden ray filtering through the glass window that didn't belong to the world she was familiar with. She jerked up from the bed instantly, white sheet shuffling on her body. Her head darted about the strange room with a mix of confusion and panic. "W— where am I? How did I get here?" Her voice cracked. She moved, and instantly regretted it. A sharp pain shot between her legs. "Ah." She winced. She pulled the bedsheet up to realize a devastating reality. She was naked. Stark naked and the sharp pain in-between her leg made her chest hammered. "God," She gasped, her voice trembling. "How did..how did all this happen?" Tears clouded in her eyes as the She looked beside her and saw a strange man sleeping peacefully under the sheet. Panic crossed her face as the reality settled in her mind like metal sinking in water. Her mind processed everything
Chapter five: I'll walk into the War
Jaxon's expression changed instantly going to anger that was immediately evident in his eyes that darkened like a storm cloud because memories left unburied flashed before his eyes— blood on the carpet, screams... "Master," Knox's voice came with more control this time around sensing the shift. "there is more about Daniel Monroe. He's not the same man, the petty trouble maker your late grandfather casted away from the house in the past. He's more." "Tell me more." Jaxon looked at him. Knox continued without looking through the file like he'd made repeated research that'd become recognized by brain, like he'd done this kind of job before and will probably still do more. "He runs a criminal organization. They're Dangerous. Trained killers. They're called THE EAGLE EYES." "Never heard of that." "They're discreet. Every operation they perform is clean, cleared before officials get evidence from scenes. Even if they slip, they always find their way out. They have the connecti
Chapter six: His Entrance
The Grand Hall was a fever-sight of expensive fittings. The ambiance was lit up with chandeliers spaced evenly on the roof scattering crystal across the Hall, over tables covered with white linens where expensive wines and gourmet dishes rested impeccably for esteemed guests consumption. This isn't the kind of wedding for common people. Attendance is strictly by invitation ordinary people can't access. The hall buzzed as guests engaged in light conversations, laughing over brandy and champagne, clinking glasses in toast while some admired the couples dancing in front of the stage where spotlight cast light on two people— a man in expensive suit and a young woman in a flowing wedding gown, clutching arms and moving choreographically to the gentle beat. The young woman is the daughter of Daniel Monroe. "Aww!!" "They're so beautiful. Look at the match. The perfection." "This will be me. How gorgeous." "So Romantic. I'm losing my breath." Another woman gasped. The comments came ra
Chapter seven: Jaxon Monroe is back
The two Securities were already moving forward, weapons pulled, trained on the Deep Aston purred low like a thunder in the distance. They flanked both sides of the door, hands steady on weapons aimed at the door where Jaxon sat in relaxed posture without any ounce of fear in his eyes."Get down from the car. Now!!" One barked, his grip tight on the gun.Arriving guests in expensive cars and designer clothes paused to watch, a few people who were around the time Jaxon drove in whispered to newcomers, pointing fingers at the Aston as they explained the ravelling scene. The tension in the air was slowly rising.Jaxon exhaled through his nose, his smirk sharp at the corner of his lips in something that seemed like amusement.Lazily, when he felt like it, he pushed the door open. The Securities pointing gun at his door took one step back in caution, his grip firm on his weapon.Jaxon came out with a velvet box strapped with a ribbon resting on his palm. "You are one of Daniel's dogs," His
Chapter eight: His entrance ii
The double door of the Grand Hall tore off clean from the hinge, flying across the room, slamming into tables close to the front row— guests got hit and injured, tables skidded with metal before throwing away expensive plates and bottles of wine that shattered and exploded in the air and raining liquor and sharpnels. The crowd screamed, staggering away from the chaos in a tangle of limp and heels, those who were unlucky slipped and fell, those laughing before the entrance were frightened now. Blood pooled over the floor with wine. No one was standing. The couple, earlier dancing at the front stilled under the spotlight, looking at everyone scrambling in the hall like they were watching real-time action movies or the prelude before a zombie apocalypse kicked into full clutter."What is going on?" The bride in white gown, a replica of Daniel Monroe's face asked with narrowed eyes, her expression tight.Jaxon's entrance was already Terrific enough. But he was just starting. He stepped t
Chapter nine: Anyone who stepped in the way
"Let me deal with the bastard!" The bridegroom, Mason Goldwyn heir of the Goldwyn house, operating secret drug business barked. He'd been watching Jaxon speak to Elder Enzo like he put everyone of them in the hall."Securities!!!" He roared."Stop barking," Jaxon said, his voice flat. "They're all dead." Jaxon said flatly."What—" Mason gasped, eyes wide in shock.Elder Ezno's expression cracked in mild surprise. He didn't speak. He simply gestured at a male servant nearby and whispered to his ear."Go and check."The servant nodded and ran out to check. In the following minute, he ran back into the hall with a different speed and stopped before Elder Ezno, shaking with fear as though he'd just seen ghost. He didn't speak instantly. He couldn't. His breathing was heavy and fast, sweats suddenly pouring from his temple as fever without symptoms struck him, the air conditioning blowing on him hot air."Dead dead..." His voice cracked. "..dead bodies..they're outside... everywhere.""W
