Scott rubbed his forehead in frustration. “Why that place?” he asked quietly. “What does my school have to do with my revenge?” He waited patiently for the system to give him an answer. But it remained silent, leaving him staring at the notification while several possibilities crossed his mind.He waited for a few seconds before speaking again. “System, explain the reason for this mission.” , just as he expected. He had already learned that the system rarely explained anything unless he fulfilled certain conditions, and this time seemed to be no different.“Fine,” Scott said, his expression hardening. “Then answer this. What happens if I refuse?” Almost immediately, another notification appeared before him, and his eyes narrowed as he read it. [MISSION REFUSAL WILL RESULT IN A SYSTEM PENALTY.]Scott's expression changed slightly. “What kind of penalty?” he asked. The system responded after a brief pause with another cold notification: [PENALTY INFORMATION WILL BE REVEALED AFTER REFU

He had already prepared everything before leaving his apartment, including a temporary student identity that could survive a casual inspection. He moved through the familiar compound without drawing attention, occasionally glancing at the buildings around him. Students hurried toward their lecture halls. In the busy environment, he crossed the walkways with files under their arms, and groups of medical students gathered around the laboratories, but nobody gave Scott more than a passing glance. He entered the lecture hall shortly before the professor arrived and quietly took a seat toward the middle. He opened a notebook, placed a pen between his fingers, and pretended to prepare for the lecture while carefully observing the students around him.For several minutes, nothing seemed unusual until a group of students behind him began whispering. Scott did not turn around immediately, but the words they were saying gradually caught his attention.“Did you hear what happened this morning?”

For a moment, nobody spoke or reacted but in the next few seconds.. The room erupted in laughter loud enough that almost pissed Scott off this time. The senior professor leaned back in his chair and laughed openly. “You heard him, didn't you? This boy thinks he can stop an epidemic that our medical department has been struggling to understand.”Another professor shook his head while laughing. “Who do you think you are? We are professors with years of education and research experience, and you think you know more than us?”Scott remained completely still, his hand placed in his pocket. One of the younger lecturers pointed toward the laboratory building outside the window and said, “Our top-performing students are already in the laboratory conducting research to find a solution. We don't need some random student walking in here pretending he can solve what trained researchers cannot.”Scott looked at him. “How long have they been researching?” The lecturer frowned. “That's none of your

He pointed toward the door. “It's time for you to leave, or security will take you out.” For several seconds, Scott did not react. He simply stood there, staring at the professors. Then he spoke again. “Give me my certified license, and I'll find a way to stop this disease.” The elderly professor did not hesitate. “But under one condition.” he muttered after a few seconds of silence.Scott looked at her. “You'll be taken directly to the laboratory,” she said. “You will work there alone, with enough security around the building to ensure you don't leave without permission.”The room became quiet as the words left her mouth. The professor continued, “You will be given everything you need for your research, including equipment, chemicals, medical records, and access to the available information about the disease.”Scott listened carefully. “And once you find the cure?”“You will receive your license without unnecessary delay.”“I don't need all of that you want to give out to me” Scott m

Scott began his research behind closed doors, completely alone inside the large research laboratory. The room was filled with everything he needed, from testing equipment to chemical compounds and medical instruments, and he carefully inspected each item before beginning. He had no assistant beside him, no professor watching over his shoulder, and no one to interrupt him while he worked. He moved from one table to another, checking the equipment and arranging everything according to what he needed. His intellectual ability allowed him to understand most of the equipment almost instantly, even though some of the machines were more advanced than anything he had used before. After making sure everything was ready, Scott finally took out the sample he had collected from the outbreak. He stared at the sample for several seconds before placing it under the testing equipment. This was the moment he had been waiting for, because everything he had done until then had only been preparation f

The room became strangely quiet. The professors exchanged looks. The senior professor then slowly lowered his voice.“How do you know that?” he asked.Scott did not reply but instead looked at him with a horrible expression. “You haven't announced the patient's condition publicly,” another professor said. “That information was kept confidential.”Scott looked at them left with little words. “Then you should be more concerned about how I know than about how quickly I finished the research.”The junior lecturer suddenly laughed again. “You're becoming more arrogant by the minute.” He pointed toward Scott. “You come into our laboratory, claim you've discovered a cure in less than four hours, somehow know confidential information, and now you expect us to let you experiment on a dying patient?”Scott's expression remained unchanged. His legs stiffened as he watched the Junior professors speak more arrogantly. “I'm not asking you to trust me.”“Then what are you asking for?” the senior pr

Scott did not answer at first. Instead, he slowly gave him his hand and lifted him up with his strength. “Are you feeling better?” Scott asked. The patient stared at him with tears forming in his eyes. Then, without warning, he dropped to his knees.“Master,” the patient whispered. “I'm deeply grateful for your kindness and love. I was told I have 24 hours to live, but you saved me.”Scott's eyes narrowed. He chuckled when he saw how grateful and happy the patient was looking. “But you don't need to call me Master,” Scott whispered as he lifted him up onto his feet. The patient grabbed Scott's legs and hugged them tightly. “Master, you saved me. I can never stop to appreciate you and celebrate you” “It's alright Mister” Scott whispered. Immediately some of the professors felt they were left acknowledged in the matter, their faces looked pale as though they'd been bitten. The elderly woman's face stiffened while the junior lecturer looked as though someone had slapped him in front o

The senior professor's eyes widened. “You can't do that,” he smirked arrogantly. “The cure belongs to the institution now.”Scott gave him a faint smile. “Does it?”Scott continued, “If I take back my research and everything I discovered, you can continue suffering from the outbreak. Ungrateful men”The elderly woman's face became pale. “Why would you do that, she asked politely, trying a way to convince Scott.” Scott without wasting more seconds “I have only two things you all should do. My certificate plus license and they both resigned”The woman stared at him for several seconds before lowering her eyes. After trying all her possible best to convince him to reverse his decision, the Vice Chancellor finally turned toward the two professors. “You both made a promise.”The senior professor looked at him in disbelief. “Sir, surely you're not asking us to resign because of this.” Before he could say any other thing “I am.” the Vice Chancellor whispered.“He would have conducted researc

Scott remained seated in front of his laptop, his fingers moved slowly across the keyboard, as he searched through the information his security network had gathered about the people connected to the outbreak. One particular name appeared repeatedly in several documents, and the moment he saw it, his fingers stopped moving. Alex.Scott leaned closer to the screen and read the name again, his eyes narrowing as a faint memory surfaced in his mind. He had heard Alex before, but he could not yet understand why the name appearing in the documents felt so important. ‘This looks completely familiar’, he murmured, scrolling through the information. He opened another file and began comparing the details with what he already knew about Black Stone. There was a connection between several people mentioned in the documents and the organization, but the information was carefully buried behind layers of security and false identities.Scott leaned back slowly, he felt he had discovered something inter

The shareholder quickly replied, “It's nothing serious or dangerous, Scott.” Scott released a slow breath, the tension left his heart almost immediately. “We were awarded a contract worth millions of dollars, almost a billion, and we're seeking your approval.”Scott blinked once before leaning back in his chair. At first he was amazed about what was happening, contracts, deals everywhere but he remained calm despite it all.“That's what you called me about?” he asked. The shareholder laughed softly and replied, “There's more to it, because you'll need to be present for this particular one.”“What company awarded the contract?” Scott asked. The shareholder gave him the name and briefly explained the nature of the agreement. Scott listened carefully before he gave his order, “Go ahead and let them know I've approved it.”“Are you sure you don't want to review the documents first?” the shareholder asked. “There's no need for that, I trust you all that's the reason I've decided to work w
