Chapter 51
Logan immediately kicked Leon in the head while leaping backward. Just as he prepared to fire, a grenade flew toward him.The grenade exploded in midair, creating a powerful shockwave that pushed Logan several steps backward.Leon rolled across the ground, grinning widely despite the blood pouring from his head, waist, and stomach. As he formed another grenade in his hand, he rushed forward.Logan threw a kick, but Leon managed to catch it with one hand. When Logan tried to pull his leg back, Leon grabbed his ankle and threw a grenade.Logan twisted his body and kicked Leon, forcing him to release his grip. Unfortunately, the grenade exploded, sending Logan flying backward and rolling across the ground.Leon brushed the dust from his clothes, grinning widely.“I've always admired your spirit, Logan. You keep moving forward even after losing two people you loved. But that determination won't bring you back to the past. You ....”Leon instinctively jumped as a bullet shot toward him.“B

Kenta smiled as he aimed both hands at Leon.“You picked up quite a troublesome brat, Logan. You ....”Leon leaped backward, fell, and rolled several times before glaring at Laga. He clicked his tongue in annoyance. “That brat attacked me with poison. Where did he get it? Could poison be his ability?”Laga hurled several rocks at Leon.“We’ll meet again, brat!” Leon dodged and hurried away, nearly stumbling several times. “Damn it, that poison is making me .... Bastard! I’ll crush that brat just like I crushed your son, Logan!”Laga started to chase after him, but suddenly stopped when he saw Logan’s condition. “Mr. Logan is badly injured. I have to help him.”He scanned his surroundings, chukled when he spotted Kenta. “I need to get Mr. Logan out of here. The other prisoners will make him a target.”“Can I kill that guy?” Kenta asked as he walked closer. “I saw him slaughtering a bunch of prisoners shortly after he arrived here. He must have a lot of core coins.”Laga immediately wen
Chapter 53
Kenta said, “You’ve been collecting Core Coins by stealing them from injured prisoners. I saw you touching the codes on their necks. You’re pathetic!”Laga punched Kenta in the face, forcing himself to finish him off. But once again, his hand stopped.Kenta grinned widely and laughed.“Why are you so pathetic?”“Why were you even born?”“Why are you still alive?”“No one in this world wants you, not even your own parents!”“You’re a curse!”“You’re a disaster!”Kenta’s words struck Laga from every direction. It was as if he were reliving the worst memories of his past. His body trembled, his vision blurred, and his breathing grew ragged. Those words transformed into arrows, flying at him from every direction.“Arrows?”That was when Laga finally snapped back to reality. He was suddenly knocked backward when an arrow struck him in the chest.Kenta immediately pinned Laga down, laughing hysterically. The fingers of his right hand transformed into arrows. Just before he launched them, La

The tornado grew stronger with every passing moment. Debris was constantly being pulled into it, with some of it breaking apart in midair. The prisoners kept running away, desperately searching for places to hide. Some of the wounded and dead prisoners were beginning to be dragged toward the tornado.A prisoner, Cannonhand, blasted the ground repeatedly with his cannons until he created a hole large enough to hide in. Just as he was about to climb inside, four prisoners suddenly appeared and attacked him.“Get the hell away from me!” He attacked wildly, ignoring the wounds and blood covering his body. He had already experienced the tornado once, but his attacks had simply been blown back toward him.Iron Mouth charged into the red soil, digging with his teeth. As his iron teeth tore through the ground, he used his hands and feet to dig as fast as he could. He ignored the attacks striking his back and calves. The Sword-Handed Prisoner ran through the crowd of prisoners. He tried to att

“I’ve been moved?”“Where are Mr. Logan and Kenta?”Laga looked around. He saw several leafless dead trees towering several meters high, thorny bushes, and confused prisoners wandering around.“This is dangerous. I’ll be an easy target.”The sky was unusually bright. The three moons were still shining, and the skull-bone clock continued counting down.Light streamed through the gaps between the roots and the narrow spaces inside the tree trunks.Laga immediately ran and rolled into a cluster of roots. His mind raced as he desperately searched for a solution. He saw several prisoners running into gaps between the roots. Some prisoners fell and were trampled, while others moved using their abilities.“Damn it! Where am I now?”“Why am I in this damn place?”“Hand over your core coins!” a prisoner shouted while clinging to a tree.Laga glanced at the blowpipe and steel bar in his hands before checking his clothes. “I’ve been moved, but I still have all my belongings.”He began digging in
Chapter 56
Laga was caught between two choices: run forward and face the many prisoners, or retreat and fight the two prisoners behind him.He took a deep breath, carefully observing his surroundings. Then he spotted another way. When a prisoner was thrown in his direction, Laga ran around the gaps between the tree roots while keeping an eye on the situation. The prisoners were still fighting. Some were unconscious, others were grimacing in pain, while the rest avoided the battle and continued running.Laga emerged from between the roots and ran toward a tree. He noticed several injured prisoners along the way, but decided to keep running.“Where do you think you’re going?”Laga looked left and right before glancing upward. A prisoner around his age suddenly lunged at him from the top of a tree.Laga jumped to the side and ran in the opposite direction.“You can’t run from me!”The bespectacled prisoner moved with black webs attached to his hands, firmly anchored to the tree branches.“His abili
Chapter 57
Laga loaded an arrow into his blowpipe while lying flat on the ground. His eyes remained fixed on the Axe-Handed Prisoner in front of him.The prisoners continued running, disappearing behind the trees. Only dead and injured prisoners remained scattered across the ground. The Axe-Handed Prisoner grinned.“Your time for running and hiding is over. I’m going to start hunting you down now!”Laga took a deep breath, preparing to fire the poisoned arrow. The Axe-Handed Prisoner ran toward the side of a tree and swung his axe into it. Parts of the tree shattered and collapsed.“He didn’t see me. He also didn’t touch the injured or dead prisoners.”Laga remained fully alert. He glanced to the side and ducked when he spotted a prisoner between the roots not far from him.Laga watched the area ahead.“I need to go in the opposite direction from that Axe-Handed Prisoner. I also need to find a new weapon as soon as possible.”Laga felt around his pocket while glancing back into the room behind h

The tall, big prisoner stopped walking and surveyed his surroundings.“I’m really glad to be in this place.” He burst into laughter, making the ground tremble for a moment. “This place is much better than that damn beach and sea area! I can destroy anything I want.”“I did lose that bastard shark-shaped prisoner and another strong prisoner, but I’ve seen several prisoners with unique abilities in this place.”“I wonder if that pathetic long-haired prisoner who can control his hair is here. Ever since I moved to the forest area, I haven’t seen him again.”“He came from the sea area?” Laga muttered as he slowly backed away. “He mentioned a long-haired prisoner who can control his hair. Could that prisoner be Derry?”“Come out, you damn prisoners! Face me now!”Laga carefully observed the prisoner.“He’s just like the battle-crazed prisoner I encountered before. He can enlarge his body several times over. But I noticed that his size is gradually shrinking. He must have a weakness.”“I mi

“Ah!”The Mammoth Prisoner suddenly screamed at the top of his lungs and stumbled backward several steps before finally falling to the ground. The ground shook violently, and the Mammoth Prisoner returned to his normal size. All the prisoners were instantly shocked, then began to smile. The Scorpion Prisoner jumped backward and burst into laughter.“How does my poison feel, bastard? You deserved it.”“What did you do to my leg, jackass?” the Mammoth Prisoner rolled around while clutching his leg.“I only injected a little of my poison into your leg. If you’re really as strong as you’ve been bragging about, you won’t die from it.”Laga remained hidden beneath the pieces of bark.“The Mammoth Prisoner lost? Even though his ability isn’t active, he’s still huge. He’s even bigger than Boma.”A prisoner shouted, “What are you doing, you damn mammoth? Fight that scorpion now! You’re still in the middle of a fight!”“Fight him!”“Destroy him!”“Finish him, Scorpion!”The prisoners began chee

Laga immediately jumped backward and prepared himself. “Wait, please don’t kill me.” The female prisoner hurriedly got to her feet, wiping away the tears streaming down her face. “Please." She was around nineteen years old. Her face was swollen and covered in wounds. Dry scratches were visible on her neck and hands. “I’m not going to kill you,” Laga said. The long-haired female prisoner smiled through her tears. “Please help me find my two friends. I promise I’ll give you water and food.” Laga didn’t answer immediately. He looked around and saw several prisoners running away. When he looked up at the treetops, he remembered the prisoner with the tree frog ability. “Please help me.” The female prisoner approached him, sobbing. “Please. I... don’t want to die here.” Laga carefully observed the female prisoner. He felt sorry for her after seeing her condition. However, his mind rejected those feelings of pity. This place was hell. Anyone here would do anything just to survive.
