Chapter 11
Andrew sat down in his study, looking at the pictures of the explosion that happened at the warehouse where his ex-father-in-law was keeping the illegal drugs he wanted to sell.An evil smile played on his face because, as he said before, he wanted to make sure they would suffer and wonder when it would ever end, but there would be no end. They would continue to suffer until he made sure that they were broken and useless.“Just as you planned, the warehouse was destroyed, and the drugs were destroyed with it. And somebody tipped off the mafia boss, Mr. Tim, to tell him that the warehouse where his drugs were kept was destroyed. I am very sure he will not be lenient on Mr. Nelson,” his secretary, who was standing beside him, informed him of what had happened recently.Andrew nodded in happiness. This was exactly what he wanted to hear.“That is good. That is all I want to hear. If he would mess with me, I will show him that I am not someone who he can easily hurt and get away with it,”
chapter 12
When they got into the car, his secretary finally gave him all the documents he needed to handle this. Now, there was a project manager who was handling the project, and he was also one of the executives in one of his grandfather’s smaller branches, so nobody questioned him because he was really powerful.“There are news that he has been stealing the company funds, but they have gotten no evidence because the people around him are tight-lipped.”“So we just need to figure out if this man is truly stealing from my grandfather,” Andrew asked. His secretary nodded. “Yes.”“Well, that should be easy,” Andrew said. They were in the car crossing the street, and suddenly, he had an idea.He suddenly removed his suit and told his driver to stop the car.Andrew got out of the car, went into a thrift store, and bought clothes and jeans. Then he came back into the car wearing the clothes and jeans he bought in the thrift store. He tossed his suit on the chair, and his secretary looked at him.“S
Chapter 13: Tears of pain
Andrew was in the passenger seat driving back home when they called his secretary and informed him that they had found the maid, and she was still holding the evidence. The men who caught her were interrogating her because they believed she was going to sell it to someone.“Tell them we will be there,” Andrew said, looking ahead. The driver sped up to get to the destination where they were holding the maid.Andrew has finally understood that with money, you can make anything happen because a few minutes ago, he just said he wanted to find the woman and put out money there, and they found her.He understood that money was the best thing he needed to get revenge on his ex-in-laws.He also understands that if he had had money, his wife would not have died."Money is a bitch!" He muttered underneath his breath. He secretary who was sitting beside him turned around and looked at him a while and then looked away.Yes such a strange man. When Andrew arrived at the destination, it was an aba
Chapter 14: Mr Nelson’s Nightmare.
It has already been three days, and Mr. Nelson could not find anyone who could give him the drugs he needed, so he knew that he was in a lot of trouble.Mr. Nelson was in his office, and he was looking at his phone, looking through his contacts to see who he would call that would help him out of this situation he had found himself in. He had almost called all the contacts in his phone, and nobody could actually help him, so he knew he was in a pickle.Paul, his son, was sitting on the couch, also going through his contacts. Paul did not have enough contacts to call for the amount of drugs that his father needed, so he knew the situation was bad because nobody makes a deal with a mafia boss and then, at the end, they could not complete the deal.“What are we going to do now? If we do not give him these drugs, this is going to cause a lot of problems for us,” Paul told his father, looking worried.Right now he knew that they made a big mistake making a deal with a mafia boss, but there
Chapter 15: No one wants to give me a loan
Mr. Nelson decided to call on people to give him money, and he decided to let him ask all the banks. So, he decided this was not something to talk about over the phone, so he took his car keys and left his office to go to another bank. Making a call to the bank was not really how they gave you the loan. You had to come, sign signatures and orders. The main reason why he called the bank manager now was because he could easily get a loan from his house from this bank manager because they were very close friends, but since it did not work, he had to go to other places.Mr. Nelson left Paul in his office so that Paul could look through all their contacts he could call, and Mr. Nelson went to a bank where he had taken a loan before. He met with a bank manager, and they sat down. He told the bank manager why he came, and the bank manager sighed and removed his glasses and dropped them on the table.“I am very sorry, but we do not have any loan to give out at this moment,” the bank manager t
Chapter 16: Debit alerts
The mafia boss, Mr. Tim just ended the call with Mr. Nelson. He shook his head. He was hoping that Mr. Nelson would at least tell him that the drugs had been destroyed, but he continued to lie to him.“I hope this man does not think I am stupid. I have information that his warehouse has been destroyed. We are aware my drugs were there. Why is he still lying and saying that the drugs are still with him?” Mr. Tim asked his secretary, who was standing beside him.The man just shrugged and stuffed his hand into his pocket.“Well, he’s trying to see if you will give him more time, and can only assure you that everything is fine. But he knows he needs to get the drugs, or he will give you back your money and compensate you for wasting your time. Don’t worry about it. We will deal with him if there is any nonsense whatsoever,” his secretary assured him.Mr. Tim just sat there, swinging himself in his chair. He did not understand why someone was after Mr. Nelson, but he knew someone was becau
Chapter 17: A crisis
The next time Mr. Nelson woke up, he was in the hospital bed, and his son was beside him, angrily talking to someone on the phone. His eyes opened, and he slowly sat up. His son noticed him, ended the call, and rushed to his bedside.“Dad, are you okay?” his son, Paul, asked him as he helped him sit up.Mr. Nelson exhaled and looked around the room.“Give me my phone. What is going on?” Mr. Nelson asked Paul because he saw that Paul was with his phone.Paul was hesitant to give his father back the phone because he knew that the only thing his father would receive now was bad news, and he did not want it to affect his father’s health right now because he was in a very terrible position.“I think you should just rest. Later, you can take your phone,” Paul told his father.Mr. Nelson shook his head. He was not having it. He needed to know what was going on, so he stretched out his hand, and Paul had to reluctantly give his father the phone. When Mr. Nelson took the phone, he took a deep
Chapter 18: Who did I offend?
Mr. Nelson said that he preferred to speak here, and the bank manager was finding it hard to convince him to go to his office and talk because people were recording his conversation. He did not want them saying that the bank was unreliable and that money could be taken from your account and they would not give you a proper explanation for it.So, he was trying to dissuade the situation, but Mr. Nelson was not having it.Ten million dollars was a lot of money. He could not make it back easily because his company was not in the right place now, and he had invested his money in places he could not take it back from. Most of the money that he had in his hand, he wanted to use all of it to pay back the mafia boss, so they took a lot of money from his account. Finally, after much argument, Mr. Nelson agreed to go to the office with the bank manager. The bank manager called a specialist who took Mr. Nelson’s phone and finally found a bug in his phone. His phone was clearly hacked, and somebo
Chapter 19
The mafia boss decided that he was not going to do anything yet and give Mr Nelson sometime, so that he can see if he can come up with the money, so he did not call him again.Mr. Nelson was sitting in his office, looking at his phone. He had been staring at the same number for almost five minutes because he knew that once he called Mr. Tim, there was no going back.He has tried to get money that he will use and give him back, but he needs more than just one week. He needs a lot of time, maybe a month or two.He picked up the phone and finally dialled his number. The phone rang a few times before Mr. Tim answered.“What do you want?” Mr. Tim asked immediately.“Mr. Tim, please, I need to talk to you,” Mr. Nelson said, sitting up straight.“I am listening.” He replied. Mr. Nelson took a deep breath.“I am very sorry, but I need you to give me some grace. The money I promised to send to you can not be sent.” Mr Nelson told him because he has asked his friends and a lot of people and th
Chapter 20: Kidnapped
Nelson decided to find other ways to make up the money that he wanted to give to Mr Tim, he knew that even though he didn't see anything he had what he will do at the back of his mind.He was currently going through his property deeds and wondering which one he would put in the bank so that he can get a loan from them.He knows that there is a reason the bank does not want to give him a loan, but if he gives them a property to hold in case he does not pay back the loan, maybe they would actually give him the loan he wanted.Mr. Nelson was still in his office sorting through his property deeds when his phone started ringing. He looked at the screen. It was his wife.He answered.“Hello?” He said.“Nelson, where are you?” his wife asked him but he could hear it from her voice she was clearly panicking.“I am at the office. Why?” he asked as he arched an eyeball and sat upright wondering why she would be asking on such a thing, when she knows that he's at work.“I have been trying to rea
