Chapter 1
Chapter 1 : A poor man.
The poor have no say in what happens to them. You would think that is a lie, but it really is the truth of reality. It was raining hard and thunder struck with no mercy, and kneeling in the rain was Andrew Williams, a poor man begging for money. If there were tears of pain in his eyes, the rain had washed them away. Even though he was shivering in the rain, there was no sympathy from his father or family who took refuge in front of the mansion, leaving him out there drenched in the rain. "You told me that if I was serious and needed the money. That I should kneel down in the rain and beg you.” Andrew sighed. “I am on my knees, I am begging you to give me the money, so my wife needs to get the surgery immediately!" Andrew pleaded loudly to his father. "I told you to kneel down and ask your stepmother for forgiveness for what you did. I never said that I will give you money to pay for your wife's hospital bills," Williams, his father and the CEO of Williams Corporation, replied coldly, folding his arms. A multi millionaire who always gave donations to poor people to improve his public image, yet he could not spare ten thousand dollars to give to his own biological son , so that he can pay for his wife's treatment, so his wife’s surgery could begin. "Dad, did you not tell me that you would give me the money? Why are you doing this to me?" Andrew asked, his body shivering and his father just looked at him coldly. "All I told you was to apologize to your stepmother. I never said I will help you with the money for your wife's medical bills. You are a man, figure it out yourself," Williams, his father said coldly, as he stared at his son. Andrew did not want to believe that the man who raised him was this heartless, that he would let his own daughter in law die, just to please a woman. "Andrew, I think you should leave. You're no longer welcome in this house since you did not accept me as your mother, even though I did all I could do for you as a mother," Mrs. Williams told him. Even though Andrew had a lot to say, he clenched his teeth and stayed silent, knowing that speaking out would only give his father more reason not to help. Andrew had told his father many times that his stepmom was trying to get him out of the house. She had succeeded in framing him for things he would never dream of doing. It was as if Andrew's father was bewitched by this woman, everything she said, he believed. But he would not believe his own son. When she came into their home, Andrew was just 17 years old. She tried her best to get him out of the house, when his father wasn’t looking, she would threaten or slap him. But the moment his father turned around, she would cry fake tears, claiming that Andrew was bullying her and calling her a homebreaker. That would make his father lash out at him. Even though Andrew begged his father to check the CCTV footage, he refused. At 18 years, Andrew was kicked out of the house after his stepmom lied, saying he had stolen her wedding ring. The ring was actually found in his school bag. "Dad, are you really going to turn your back on me now that I need you the most?" Andrew asked, his voice breaking. He didn't know who else to ask for help. "Did I not tell you to leave my house? I stopped considering you as my son a long time ago. I don't know why you thought that coming here to ask me for help would make me change my mind. Leave my house and do not come back here," Mr. Williams said, then turned his back, opened the door, and walked into his mansion without looking back. Mrs. Williams waited until she was sure her husband had gone inside. Then she flashed a victorious smile. "At the end of the day, you will grow old, lonely, and poor," she laughed loudly before walking into the mansion. "Joe, please… even if we have not been in close contact, you are still my brother. Just help me this once," Andrew asked his stepbrother, desperation in his voice. "We are both on different levels. What makes you think that if Dad refused to help you, I would? Just leave here before you drop dead in front of us and we’re accused of murder," Joe huffed, glancing away. "Maria..." Andrew tried, turning to his stepsister. "I have only one brother and it's Joe. Don't ask me for help," she replied coldly, before walking inside. Just like that, they both disappeared into the mansion, leaving only the security guards at the door. Andrew stood up slowly, his legs aching, and walked away ,getting a cab to go toward his in-law's mansion. When he got there, the rain had stopped, but his in-laws refused to see him. "Please, I need to meet my father-in-law. His daughter is in the hospital. She needs money for medical assistance," Andrew told the security guard, gripping the gate bars. "We have been given strict instructions not to let you into the mansion. I don't want to lose my job, so I think you should leave or I will call the police," the security guard warned. The last thing Andrew needed was to get arrested while his wife was still in critical condition. With no other option, Andrew turned back toward the hospital. His heart was full of worry. But when he got there, he froze, bodyguards were standing in front of his wife's door. "She is dead," one of them said flatly. "What do you mean? I talked to her today and her condition hasn’t gotten that critical. I want to see her," Andrew said, stepping forward in disbelief. "Her family has taken her body to be buried," the guard replied without emotion. "What family? I am her husband!" Andrew yelled, as he furrowed his brows in confusion.

The Husband's Revenge Chapter 8 : Stolen Drugs.
Andrew was sitting in his study."Getting your number was easy. So now you say I have mental issues? I wonder what will happen if I undergo a mental evaluation and post it online, proving that I am perfectly healthy," Andrew said, with a cold smirk."What exactly do you want from me?" Mr Nelson asked him angrily, narrowing his eyes as his fists clenched on the desk."I don't want much from you. I just want you to suffer.” Andrew chuckled coldly.“I want to bring your reputation down. I want you to always watch your back, wondering who would stab you in the back. I want to give you a beating so that you know that it actually hurts to get beaten by someone and ganged upon.” Andrew paused and exhaled. “I just want to see you fall, and I'll be happy," Andrew told him. That was how he felt and that was what he wanted to do, and he wasn't going to hide it from him."If you want money, I can do that. I'll give you any amount you want. You can disappear and I won't look for you anymore," Mr

There's a thing about rumours ,when it begins to spread, it is very hard to contain it. And there are always bad consequences, be they true or false.Yesterday was Mr Nelson's birthday, and today, since he came to work, the thing he had been doing was answering one call after another, assuring his business partners and some of his friends that he had no hand in the death of his late daughter, who was adopted.Right now he was on the phone with someone he had gone into partnership with recently , a businessman who was known to be upright and who did not want anything that would affect his business."Mr Nelson, I do not understand why you did not call the police to harvest your son-in-law Mr Andrew when he made those allegations against you, because doing that would have made it seem as if what he said was true," his business partner told him, his voice stern."I've already explained to you that he has mental issues. Taking him to the police will not do him any good , if he dies in the

The Husband's Revenge Chapter 6: You killed her.
“Why is Mr. Nelson calling his bodyguard even though Andrew has made such allegations against him? Does it mean that he does not want to clear the allegations against our support?” someone murmured in the crowd, their eyes darting between the two men.Mr. Nelson was done listening to them. He knew that everybody was now watching him, so he didn’t want to say anything else. His bodyguards stepped forward, to grab Andrew and take him out of there. But when they stepped close, Andrew raised up his hand, motioning for them to stop.“There’s no need to grab me. I can leave here by myself. Besides, I can always go and meet my father-in-law in his office. We can have a nice talk there.” He laughed dryly, his eyes never leaving Mr. Nelson’s face, then turned around to walk away. The bodyguards’ jaws tightened, they couldn’t just stand by and watch him walk away after he had made such accusations against their boss. One of them shoved Andrew in the back.“Walk fast and get out of here,” the bo

It was the birthday of his ex-father-in-law, Mr. Nelson, and he knew that there would be a lot of people there so this was where he wanted to confront his ex-father-in-law. Even though he won’t say much about what happened, he just wanted to make it known that he was alive because they wanted to kill him."Sir, we have arrived," the driver told him as he came to a stop. The driver got out of the car, walked around, and opened the back door for Andrew. Andrew stepped out calmly, his face expressionless, and walked straight to the entrance. He showed them his invitation, and the bodyguard in front of the door looked at him suspiciously."You seem familiar. Do I know you?" the bodyguard asked Andrew, narrowing his eyes. Even though Andrew had changed quite a bit, gaining a lot of muscle from the training he did over the past four years, the guard’s voice hinted at a faint recognition."I don’t know if you hav
