Chapter 30

Adrian was half dragged out of the house. Once they got outside the house his mother looked at him, checking out his body. “Are you sure you are okay?” She asked.

“Yes, I am,” Adrian replied. “She didn't touch me,” he said.

“Good,” she exhaled. “Well, you have a guest,” she informed him.

“How did you know that?” he asked. “We were both in the house together, so how could you possibly know if someone is looking for me,” she asked.

“Linda messaged me,” she replied nonchalantly, showing him her phone.

Adrian furrowed her brows. “Why didn't she message me?” He wondered about picking his phone from his pocket, and he realized that he had three messages and seven missed calls. “Oh,” he muttered. “Well, where is the guest?” He asked.

“They are waiting for you at the gate,” she said. “They don't want to come in,” she replied. “I don't know why, are you in some shady business?” His mother asked.

“No,” he said. “I don't even know who it is,” he said.
