Quinn gasped, rising from his bed.
“I'm alive.” The words came out of his lips, and then he gritted his teeth. “Those bastards.” He clenched his fists together, wanting to pound into the wall. He remembered everything and in three weeks, the world would plummet into an apocalyptical setting. “It's the fourth of July. I have about three weeks.” Quinn sighed, running his fingers through his hair. “If the apocalypse is coming, I have to get ready to fight, and fight alone.” He muttered and his mind went back to the brutal way he was killed. He had given his life to get supplies for his family, but it didn't take a single day of hardship before they decided to kill him. Quinn growled, “They'd pay for everything in this life. Every single one of those bastards would regret the day they crossed my path.” Then he stepped out of his room. Knowledge was survival and with this knowledge he had, there was no time to waste. If he wanted to survive that icy wasteland, he had to make plans. “Hey, can't you see where you are going?” Someone pulled him by the collar. Having spent four months in the apocalypse before he was killed and eaten by his in-laws, Quinn's senses were sharpened. He grabbed the hand on his shoulder, and twisted it, sending the person behind him flying to the front. The fall came with a loud crash, causing everyone to rush out of their place. “What the heck is going on?” The first person to speak was Lisa, Quinn's wife. Her eyes came down and she found her brother, Harold, on the floor. “Quinn, what did you do?” Lisa snarled. Quinn scoffed. If he was the same person he was, he would have bowed a thousand times for her forgiveness. But this was different. He had changed. “Tell him to keep his hands to himself.” Quinn said with a calm demeanour. He didn't even glance at the man. “Are you insane? Have you forgotten how we raised you from the gutters to help you?” Lisa's mother was livid. “You raised me?” Quinn gave her a sharp look. “You bunch of fools couldn't even raise a responsible child.” He uttered, giving Harold a dirty look. In the apocalypse, this was the man that made his life hell. Always sending him on dangerous errands in order to get meaningless supplies like condoms, and cigarettes. The only thing Quinn felt towards this man was an overwhelming sense of bloodlust. Everyone was shocked at this new display. Especially Lisa, this was the first time she was seeing Quinn like this. Did he find something out? She narrowed her brow. “Have you forgotten your place?” Esther, Lisa's mother moved forward. Just when the woman was about to make a move, Lisa held the woman's hand. “I'll talk to him, Mom. Maybe Quinn's tired.” Lisa said with a small smile. She turned to Quinn, “I'm sorry my brother made such a mistake, Quinn but you didn't have to throw him that way.” Lisa said, but the indifferent look in Quinn's eyes made her heart shake. Did he forget that he was married to her? Harold, who was on the floor, gritted his teeth, while he clutched his broken wrist. “What are you saying, Sis? This fool broke my wrist and you want to be nice to him?” “Shut up Harold. Put ice on it.” Lisa snarled. If Quinn got angry, she could lose the chance of getting her money if he decided to do something rash The best thing to do now was to calm him down, seduce him, and then punish him later. Unknown to Lisa, Quinn knew exactly what she was thinking. Two weeks ago, Lisa had gotten news that Quinn was the heir to a multi-millionaire fortune but she had paid to keep it away from him. In his past life, Lisa had deceived it into signing away his fortune to her and a pregnancy that did not belong to him. When she had gotten the money, it was squandered with barely enough to last them when the disasters hit. After four months, these sick people made the decision to kill him and satisfy their hunger. Thinking back to that heartbreaking moment, Quinn could only laugh. “You are right, Lisa. I overreacted.” Quinn said, but there wasn't even a smile on his face. “Can we go inside and talk things out like husband and wife?” He said, and without waiting for her response, he walked back to their room. Lisa looked back and gave her family a small nod. “I'll handle it. He just needs my attention.” She mouthed, before following the man she called her husband. Quinn sat leisurely on the bed, a cellphone in his hand. “Quinn. I don't like what you did to my brother. You are hurting my heart and I want you to apologise to him.” Lisa said when she walked into the room. Quinn raised his head, “I don't care about your heart, Lisa. The reason why I called you here is because we are having a divorce.” “What? Don't be rash Quinn. I know you just want my attention, but a divorce is irrational.” Lisa said, trying to mask the shakiness in her voice. Quinn cocked his head, “I'm done being your boytoy, Lisa. I know that child isn't mine and if you want the evidence to be published to the entire world, I am willing to do that.” Lisa was speechless. She bit down on her lips. He already found out! But how? She had been very careful. “The divorce papers will be sent to the mail box tomorrow morning.” Quinn rose to his feet, and walked to her. He grabbed her chin, pulling her face closer to his. “If you dare think of delaying this process, Lisa. I will bring you and your family to the filthy ground, along with the slut you call a boyfriend.” His voice was soft but the threat was hard. For five years, he had lived in this place like a chained dog. Served this wicked set of people. Only for them to brutally end him for their own survival. Never again! It was as if wings had grown from his back. Quinn walked out of the room. Now that he had gotten rid of these baggage, he had to plan for the incoming disaster. The dawn of the ice age. “I came with a spatial space too.” Quinn said, recollecting what had happened while he waited for Lisa He had mistakenly walked into a large white room. And from where he stood, he couldn't see the end of the room. Being blessed with such a gift made things a whole lot easier and he was going to maximise it. “But first of all, I need to take back my inheritance.” Quinn thought to himself. He went to the little room he was given by them. The doghouse was a lot better than his room, but that didn't matter anymore. He searched the room and took out all his important documents. “Once they have verified my identity, it will be smooth sailing from there on.” Quinn smiled to himself. He was no longer the timid man in his past life. It was now time to wake up. This was just the beginning. The real fun would begin when the Rodriguez Family came to beg for his forgiveness.Latest Chapter

You ruined my reputation Quinn!" Lisa had tears in her eyes as she yelled at Quinn.Quinn was already used to her manipulation tactics from his previous life and nothing could redeem her from the evil her and her family did to him."You planned to destroy me Lisa, I'm just returning the favour" he barely looked at her as the construction workers had already resumed their work. He wanted to humiliate her more but there were more important things right now."I'll make you regret this Quinn" Lisa yelled after him but he ignored her as he received an alert on his phone. It was a red alert for everyone warning them to take shelter from the incoming typhoon but he knew it was a false news.Quinn merely glanced at the notification. In his previous life, this same warning had sent thousands of people into a frenzy, only for nothing to happen. The real disaster would come soon and by then, it would be too late for anyone who wasn't prepared."Keep working!" He yelled to the construction worke

Quinn frowned at each and everyone of them.He was making sure their faces were engrained in his memory. In the coming of the harsh apocalypse, he would turn his back on everyone.Lisa didn't want to say anything but she knew that his stance was valid.“And you think you can come to my house without a police warrant? Harassing my workers? What level of stupidity.”Quinn said, then the hint of a smile appeared on his face.Wealth was good.Wealth was power. And before money lost its value, he would make sure to appropriately use it.Before Lisa left his house, he had gotten a set of people to follow her. These were easily found on the dark web, he just needed to pay these people.“Since you all have no evidence. I'm going to give you mine.”Quinn took out his phone, and opened the door to this house.Lisa could feel the dread rising from within her.She hated where this was going and there was no way she could leave at the moment. These people held her tight. The spacious living room w

In his past life, Quinn had always been timid, but after the apocalypse in the struggle for food, he had grown to be wise.“You are making a big mistake, Harold. Didn't I teach you a lesson prior?” Quinn narrowed his eyes Harold felt a bit of trepidation, but then he looked around to the men surrounding him..“The only thing you are good at is bluffing. And once I get rid of you, we can get back the money that truly belongs to my family.”Harold lashed out, but Quinn only chuckled.“Come at me then, if you think I'm joking around.”“Get him!” Harold yelled out.In the quiet alleyway, most people wouldn't be able to notice what was going on.But Quinn didn't want them to notice.Because he has not come here with an ounce of mercy. The reason for him being here was simply to kill.To get rid of anything that would ruin his chances in the upcoming disasters. The first man came forth.Having experienced this in his past life, Quinn could already predict the movement. And another thing, h

CHAPTER 7The manager instantly rushed down.A Flintshire was not someone he could dare to offend. What was this customer talking about though? They had made extreme efforts to train every one of their staff on good behaviour and customer service. But sweat pooled on the manager's head, this wasn't just a customer This was a Flintshire and with a single statement, he could lose his high paying job.Quinn stood, checking his watch when a man walked up to him.Looking down, he realised this person was also wearing a salesman tag.“Good day Sir. Are you interested in any one of our cars? I can show you a few of them if you just tell me your preference.” The young man said, giving Quinn a smile.Quinn looked at the man before letting out a sigh.“Okay. I'd give the company one more chance.”Although the man didn't understand what Quinn was talking about, he still waited.“I want something like a truck but lightweight and with bulletproof glasses, and it should also be fast.” Quinn tried

Quinn walked to his new house. It was perfect and with the right amount of space.Since he came back, he had been unable to test the extent of the power he had received.“A spatial space.” Quinn muttered. The next moment, he thought about the space and he blinked, only to appear in the white area again.“I can access it just by thinking of entering it.” Quinn muttered to himself.Currently he had nothing with him to test if this space could actually hold items.Quinn started walking far. Then he realised that this place was actually bigger than he thought and no matter how he tried to explore it, he just couldn't see the end.Quinn left the spatial area He would have Mr. Benson deliver all the goods to this place and then he could load them into the spatial space. He took out his phone and quickly sent the new address.Mr. Benson was quick to see the update and reacted to it.Quinn liked the fact that the windows in this place were actually top notch.“Okay this would be able to blo

Quinn had sorted the first stage. Now for the second back up plan, he needed to get ready for the upcoming storm.“Hello James. I might need your help again. I need to buy another house, and I want you to keep this confidential. The house should be situated on high ground with a very sturdy ground base. A foundation that can withstand even the strongest of floods.”Quinn explained. He wasn't even sure such a place existed but he had to try his luck.“Oh! There's a place that was built recently and we have tested the whole area. It matches your exact description. The place available right now is the pent house at the highest level.”“I'd buy that.”“But it's a lot more expensive than the first.” James tried to warn me, but then he saw the credit alert of twenty million naira.“Thank you Sir Quinn, but the actual amount is fifteen million naira.” James looked at his phone againQuinn had sent him the details of a bank account.“I'd be expecting a refund of the remaining amount.
