After I Died, I Recarnated as a dragon lord

Undying resolve

Zillow the last but not the least was known as the mighty red dragon god, that was because he defeated all the dragon god except a particular dragon, who has immense power.

Vortex thought 

' Hmm! Strange question. So what'll my answer be'. After thinking for half a minute, vortex then turned to Zillow with a grin on his face.

"To prevent another war from happening between the dragon race". He answered.

 Zillow was quiet for a while, he didn't expect such answers .

"Hmm! I see. So is that all?". Zillow asked.

 "No. My lord. I also want to be able to help the dragon race and join the separated factions. Those are my reasons ". 

 The war which vortex was talking about is the war which happened a thousand years ago.

 The enemy was quiet strong, and even Zillow's followers then died, since then, there have been peace for quite some while , but lately, there have been kind of signs of wars, though, Zillow have been quiet, but within he knew that the war would suffer more casualties than last time.

 Even though he was the mightiest dragon god, he still had one major enemy, which could threaten his existence.

 A strong and dark god, which has challenged him countless times.

 Though he is a dragon. But this dragon's powers/ abilities by far surpasses the other dragon gods.

 ' He isn't that bad '. Zillow thought.

 'If I could make him my followers and make him become more stronger, then I'm sure that HE will have the capability to fight against HIM '. 

 Tension rose, as they both stared at each other. 

 And then, after some minutes passed, Zillow - the mighty red dragon god, broke the silence by speaking.

 "Fine! I'll grant you my powers vortex. For you better use it well, for the purpose of dragon kin, train and become stronger.". Zillow said.

 "Thank you! Master". He said, his voice filled with gratitude. 

 Slowly, the dragon figure began to disappear, and with one loud growl everything around lit up with a red light, which made vortex shield his eyes.

"Become stronger vortex, for your journey is just beginning". 

Those were the last words he heard, before everything turned blank.

"My leige! Are you alright". A famanine voice broke vortex from his slumber.

 He slowly got up and found himself in a war zone . 

 He then raise his trembling hands and slowly muttered....

"I'm alright". 

The woman then stood beside him, with her sword at her side .

   Vortex smiled as rows of information flooded in his head.

  Vortex wavered as he tried to keep his balance. His eyes were heavy and the weight of the burden pressed him down.

 ' Damnit! System! Open the shop'. He commanded.

 Suddenly several rows of information flooded his head again.

 There were several stuff, but he chose the potion.

- Healing potion 

- Stamina potion 

- Agility potion

 ' Purchase agility, health and stamina potion'. He commanded.

 And with that another rows of information came in.

{ Potions cost: 100 Draconic points 

 Do you wish to purchase.

{Yes/No}

 Vortex chose 'yes' , and with that three bottles of potions materialized in his palm. And then he drank them all .

'i feel better now. More better than ever '. He thought as he flexed him muscle.

" My lord. If you are not feeling too well, we could retreat In an instant". The knight said , her voice filled with warmth.

"No! We're not retreating. We're killing that damn creature". Vortex's voice though strain, yet remained firm.

 He couldn't retreat. Not now. He knew the consequences of doing so, and he didn't plan to endure those consequences, especially dieing the future, because of a decision he didn't made right.

"I can't leave. We're defeating that monster here, and now". His voice was firm.

 The knight then nodded as she grip on her weapon.

 He took a deep breath, feeling the worries in his head subside. He wasn't going to die, not here not now.

 His burning resolve couldn't let him die, he just got Recarnated and he didn't plan to die again but enjoy his life to the fullest. 

 Vortex then took several steps forward, despite the lingering pain in his body. The knight followed him, Incase if he needed any assistance. 

His gaze landed on the soilders who still tried to fight, despite knowing that they couldn't win . This made vortex's heart arch. Their undying resolve made him to clench his fist in anger.

 Not the anger because they are fighting, but because he couldn't protect those who are protecting him. They didn't care if they died or not ,  they didn't care if they will see their family or not , all they did , is to die in honor, not because of just the king, not the kingdom , but because of their undying resolve.
