There is nothing wrong with the writer. This is the game they play. They update almost daily at the beginning. After you are hooked they wait 1 to 2 weeks for updates while writing other books. Hoping you will start reading the new book while waiting. So you will be hooked on the new one.
where did she say that? haven't seen it anywhere. I have seen where she has updated her other book almost daily. 12 chapters have been updated on Iridian since March 10th. So, updates don't take that long. She is just trying to get people to read her other book while waiting for this one.

Actually this seems to be the way it is done on Goodnovel. once you are 2/3 of the way done to a book then ignore it. I will finish what I am reading and I am done with this app.

I think this app is geared to get us invested in the story, then tells the authors to spend more time on their new books. I only say that because every book I have read, no matter the author, updates get farther apart the more you get into the story. I think it is Goodnovel and not the author.
