THE ARTIFACT CAN BE USED TO BUY WEAPONS, BUILD A TERRITORY, SWAP ATTRIBUTES, ENHANCE ATTRIBUTES, CREATE A VOID BEAST, AND REMOVE ATTRIBUTE

  

NOTE: THERE ARE DIFFERENT BOSSES SCATTERED AROUND THE PLACE, SO FIND ONE AND RETRIEVE THE ARTIFACT 

  

YOU ONLY HAVE 5 HOURS TO COMPLETE THIS QUEST

Draken gazed at the notification with racing heart and cold sweat trickling down his chin. 

  

  

'Retrieve the artifact from the boss monster? Failure is death?' Draken mused internally with his fingers rubbing his chin. He shifted his gaze around and also noticed everyone glancing at their invisible screens with a puzzled and frightful expression. 

  

"Got any clue yet?"  

  

While Draken was trying to figure out something, a cool British accent was heard from his side and caused him to shift his gaze to see the young man with dirty blonde hair and muscular build. 

  

"Nothing yet. This doesn't make any sense." Draken responded in a low tone. 

  

"Well, i do know one thing." The British man spoke up. 

  

"And what's that?" Draken inquired in curiosity. 

  

"That if we keep staying here our time would run out and we would just die just like the notification says." The British man responded in a low but sharp tone. 

  

Draken knew the man was right. The notification did says that they only got five days to fulfill the quest and failure is death. So far they've used thirty minutes of their time doing nothing and if they keep staying idle the time would definitely run out and they might just slump and die or a monster would appear to end them. 

  

"But, where do we go?" Draken questioned. "This whole place is just void and dark, i can't see any path ahead." 

  

The British man then swept his gaze through the area and all he saw was nothing but darkness. 

  

"I don't know, man, but if the quest says we should slay the boss monster then there have to be a way out of this place somehow." The British fellow sounded as he began to advance further into the darkness. 

  

The whole crowd all had their gazes fixated on the British man as he kept moving forward like a brave warrior. 

  

"You coming?" He turned his head backwards to face Draken who still knelt down there in contemplation. 

  

Draken still had doubts about the darkness. There could be more of those void creatures within the shadows patiently waiting for preys to devour. 

  

The man kept moving forward until he halted his steps after receiving a notification from his system.

No one but the British man could see the screen in front of him, and when he turned around to utter some words, his body turned to dust and he vanished from the area. 

  

Noise erupted in the void area as the crowd began to mumble and panic after witnessing the man mysteriously vanishing into thin air. 

  

'The look on his face..he must have seen something.' Draken pondered internally as he recalled the look on the man's face before he vanished. 

  

'Just what did he see that no one else could? Wait..the system notification. He must have received a notification that only he could see.' 

  

Draken then rose up from where he knelt down and began to walk towards the spot the man vanished from with a determined expression evident on his face.

Arriving in the same spot the British man vanished from, a strange notification materialized right in front of Draken. 

  

'This must be what he saw before he got transferred outside this area.' Draken mused as he gazed at the screen in front of him. 

  

'Hmm..' Draken glanced at his hands as they began to turn to dust, until his whole body vanished from the area.

Lifting his eyelids, Draken was forced to lift up his right hand to block the rays of the bright and hot sun.  

  

Unlike the dark void area, this place looked more modernized and extremely bright thanks to the double sun that could be seen on the sky. 

  

The area looked like a city with different tall buildings that were at the verge of crumbling, cars that were flipped over and giant claw marks could be seen on them. The place was quite silent and there was no other person in sight apart from him.

HUNT DOWN THE BOSS AND GET THE ARTIFACT

  

While Draken was busy examining the area, a notification popped up in his line of sight. 

  

'Shit. So it means i am all alone in this area and i am to hunt down this boss on my own?' Draken lamented, punching the air in frustration. 

  

"Five days..for them to give us so much time meaning the boss must be hella strong and it needs us to rest and prepare during that time." Draken assumed, glancing around the area. 

  

"I just hope there aren't any other monsters besides the boss. I wouldn't want to get injured before encountering the real deal." 

  

After examining the place, Draken began to walk forward aimlessly. 

  

"Now that i am alone for a bit, i better check out stuff concerning this Vamp void thing."

Draken examined the screen with his fingers placed on his chin in contemplation. 

  

"I don't need anyone to tell me what the ranking stuff means. The Void Realm rank shows the rank of each individuals in the realm. The more quests you complete, the more you rise to the top of the ranking list." 

  

"Right now i am placed on 5 billion, meaning there is a total of 5 billion people in this realm..but once i complete a quest before anyone else, i will move to number one." 

  

"What i do not understand is the fact that the people back there wasn't up to 10 thousand let alone 5 billion. Does it mean there are different sections in this realm where other people were transported to after death?" 

  

Draken mused in contemplation, his fingers rubbing his chin and his gaze fixated on the screen in front of him. 

  

"This stuff should have come with a manual or something..how am i suppose to know what Blood Bank means? Or what Void Energy means?" Draken voiced in frustration before shifting his gaze downwards to the stats panel. 

  

"Now, this is what i am more interested in." A grin appeared on Draken's face as he glanced at the starts panel infront of him. 

  

"I have a total of five extra stats points, meaning i can increase any of my stats right now." Draken mused in contemplation of which he should increase right now. 

  

"I would normally distribute the points equally in the game, but this isn't a game. I need to get stronger quickly before i encounter the boss, and i think i know just stat i need to increase."

After several minutes of contemplation, Draken finally concluded and placed the points in the stat he deems useful for now. 

  

"How do i tell if i did get stronger cause i really can't feel any change in my body." Draken spoke with a puzzled expression as he glanced at his muscles, but they were still skinny like before. 

  

BROOOFFF!!! 

  

While Draken was busy with the system, a loud explosion sound was heard from above as a creature shot out from a skyscraper and headed towards Draken from above.
