ALERT THE FIRST QUEST HAS ARRIVED RETRIEVE THE BLOOD ARTIFACT FROM THE BOSS MONSTER. THE ARTIFACT CAN BE USED TO BUY WEAPONS, BUILD A TERRITORY, SWAP ATTRIBUTES, ENHANCE ATTRIBUTES, CREATE A VOID BEAST, AND REMOVE ATTRIBUTE NOTE: THERE ARE DIFFERENT BOSSES SCATTERED AROUND THE PLACE, SO FIND ONE AND RETRIEVE THE ARTIFACT YOU ONLY HAVE 5 HOURS TO COMPLETE THIS QUEST PUNISHMENT FOR FAILURE: DEATH Draken gazed at the notification with racing heart and cold sweat trickling down his chin. 'Retrieve the artifact from the boss monster? Failure is death?' Draken mused internally with his fingers rubbing his chin. He shifted his gaze around and also noticed everyone glancing at their invisible screens with a puzzled and frightful expression. "Got any clue yet?" While Draken was trying to figure out something, a cool British accent was heard from his side and caused him to shift his gaze to see the young man with dirty blonde hair and muscular build. "Nothing yet. This doesn't make any sense." Draken responded in a low tone. "Well, i do know one thing." The British man spoke up. "And what's that?" Draken inquired in curiosity. "That if we keep staying here our time would run out and we would just die just like the notification says." The British man responded in a low but sharp tone. Draken knew the man was right. The notification did says that they only got five days to fulfill the quest and failure is death. So far they've used thirty minutes of their time doing nothing and if they keep staying idle the time would definitely run out and they might just slump and die or a monster would appear to end them. "But, where do we go?" Draken questioned. "This whole place is just void and dark, i can't see any path ahead." The British man then swept his gaze through the area and all he saw was nothing but darkness. "I don't know, man, but if the quest says we should slay the boss monster then there have to be a way out of this place somehow." The British fellow sounded as he began to advance further into the darkness. The whole crowd all had their gazes fixated on the British man as he kept moving forward like a brave warrior. "You coming?" He turned his head backwards to face Draken who still knelt down there in contemplation. Draken still had doubts about the darkness. There could be more of those void creatures within the shadows patiently waiting for preys to devour. The man kept moving forward until he halted his steps after receiving a notification from his system. YOU SHALL BE TRANSFERRED TO YOUR PROVINCE NOW TO BEGIN THE QUEST No one but the British man could see the screen in front of him, and when he turned around to utter some words, his body turned to dust and he vanished from the area. Noise erupted in the void area as the crowd began to mumble and panic after witnessing the man mysteriously vanishing into thin air. 'The look on his face..he must have seen something.' Draken pondered internally as he recalled the look on the man's face before he vanished. 'Just what did he see that no one else could? Wait..the system notification. He must have received a notification that only he could see.' Draken then rose up from where he knelt down and began to walk towards the spot the man vanished from with a determined expression evident on his face. [YOU SHALL BE TRANSFERRED TO YOUR PROVINCE NOW TO BEGIN THE QUEST] Arriving in the same spot the British man vanished from, a strange notification materialized right in front of Draken. 'This must be what he saw before he got transferred outside this area.' Draken mused as he gazed at the screen in front of him. 'Hmm..' Draken glanced at his hands as they began to turn to dust, until his whole body vanished from the area. *** Lifting his eyelids, Draken was forced to lift up his right hand to block the rays of the bright and hot sun. Unlike the dark void area, this place looked more modernized and extremely bright thanks to the double sun that could be seen on the sky. The area looked like a city with different tall buildings that were at the verge of crumbling, cars that were flipped over and giant claw marks could be seen on them. The place was quite silent and there was no other person in sight apart from him. YOU ARE NOW IN YOUR PROVINCE HUNT DOWN THE BOSS AND GET THE ARTIFACT While Draken was busy examining the area, a notification popped up in his line of sight. 'Shit. So it means i am all alone in this area and i am to hunt down this boss on my own?' Draken lamented, punching the air in frustration. "Five days..for them to give us so much time meaning the boss must be hella strong and it needs us to rest and prepare during that time." Draken assumed, glancing around the area. "I just hope there aren't any other monsters besides the boss. I wouldn't want to get injured before encountering the real deal." After examining the place, Draken began to walk forward aimlessly. "Now that i am alone for a bit, i better check out stuff concerning this Vamp void thing." __ NAME: DRAKEN CARDEN RACE: TRANSITION STATE LEVEL: 0 VOID REALM RANK: 5,000,000,000 TITLE: NULL BLOOD BANK: 10/100 VOID ENERGY: 100/100 VOID DOMINANCE POINT: 0/10 ----- (STATS) STRENGTH: 10 AGILITY: 10 SPEED: 10 REFLEX: 10 CHARM: 0 (AVAILABLE STATS POINTS TO DISTRIBUTE: 5) ------- VAMPVOID ATTRIBUTE: (1)VOID VISION: ABILITY TO SEE IN THE DARK. [ARSENAL] BIRTHDAY BLADE: ADDS 2 EXTRA POINTS TO ALL STATS WHEN THE BLADE IS IN USE ________ Draken examined the screen with his fingers placed on his chin in contemplation. "I don't need anyone to tell me what the ranking stuff means. The Void Realm rank shows the rank of each individuals in the realm. The more quests you complete, the more you rise to the top of the ranking list." "Right now i am placed on 5 billion, meaning there is a total of 5 billion people in this realm..but once i complete a quest before anyone else, i will move to number one." "What i do not understand is the fact that the people back there wasn't up to 10 thousand let alone 5 billion. Does it mean there are different sections in this realm where other people were transported to after death?" Draken mused in contemplation, his fingers rubbing his chin and his gaze fixated on the screen in front of him. "This stuff should have come with a manual or something..how am i suppose to know what Blood Bank means? Or what Void Energy means?" Draken voiced in frustration before shifting his gaze downwards to the stats panel. "Now, this is what i am more interested in." A grin appeared on Draken's face as he glanced at the starts panel infront of him. "I have a total of five extra stats points, meaning i can increase any of my stats right now." Draken mused in contemplation of which he should increase right now. "I would normally distribute the points equally in the game, but this isn't a game. I need to get stronger quickly before i encounter the boss, and i think i know just stat i need to increase." [STRENGTH + 5] [STRENGTH 15] After several minutes of contemplation, Draken finally concluded and placed the points in the stat he deems useful for now. "How do i tell if i did get stronger cause i really can't feel any change in my body." Draken spoke with a puzzled expression as he glanced at his muscles, but they were still skinny like before. BROOOFFF!!! While Draken was busy with the system, a loud explosion sound was heard from above as a creature shot out from a skyscraper and headed towards Draken from above.

Chapter 156: The Balance
Chapter Title: The Balance That Refuses to Kneel The pressure did not strike all at once. It built. Slow. Measured. Deliberate. The large entity did not rush forward like the unstable ones before it. It did not lash out or distort the space in chaotic bursts. Instead, it expanded its influence with precision, testing the boundaries of the framework, pressing against it in controlled waves. Jacob felt each one. Not as pain. Not as force. But as resistance. Like something was trying to rewrite the rules they had just created. Lira stood beside him, her focus sharpened to its limit. “It’s pushing without attacking,” she said. Jacob nodded. “Because it doesn’t need to.” The presence confirmed. Strategic pressure detected That was the difference. This entity understood. It had already reached a level the others were still struggling toward. It did not need to destroy the framework. It only needed to prove it was unnecessary. And slowly… It was doing exactly that. Ano
Chapter 155: The First Fracture Of Certainty
Chapter Title: The First Fracture of Certainty The shift was small. So small that, if Jacob had not been paying attention with every part of his awareness, he might have missed it entirely. But he did not miss it. He felt it. The large entity, the one that had stood as a symbol of absolute certainty, had changed. Not in form. Not in strength. But in something deeper. Its stillness was no longer complete. Its presence no longer perfectly rigid. A flaw had appeared. Or perhaps… An opening. Lira leaned slightly closer, her voice barely above a whisper. “It moved.” Jacob nodded. “Yeah.” The presence confirmed. Adaptive process reactivated The words echoed with a quiet significance. Because this was not just a reaction. It was a decision. The large entity pulsed again. But this time… The pulse was uneven. Not chaotic. But no longer perfectly controlled. It carried variation. And that variation spread. The entities aligned with it reacted immediately. Their ri
Chapter 154: Weight Of Too Many Choices
Chapter Title: The Weight of Too Many Choices The space did not descend into chaos. That would have been easier to understand. Instead, it became something far more complicated. Alive with decisions. Everywhere Jacob looked, entities moved through different stages of becoming. Some glided into stability almost effortlessly, adopting the framework as if it had always belonged to them. Others drifted in uncertainty, lingering between formation and collapse, their shapes flickering with hesitation. And then there were the ones that resisted. Not all of them in the same way. Some rejected the framework outright, pushing against it with sharp, erratic bursts of energy. Others circled it, brushing against the pattern only to pull away again, as if something within them refused to settle. The space responded to all of it. It adapted. The framework expanded naturally, adjusting its presence without forcing itself. The areas where stability increased began to feel different, smoothe
Chapter 153: The Ones That Refuse The Pattern
Chapter Title: The Ones That Refuse the Pattern They came in waves. Not all at once, not in a single overwhelming surge, but steadily, inevitably. Distortions emerged from the deeper expanse like fragments of a broken idea trying to piece itself together. Some were faint, barely holding shape. Others were already forming, their outlines flickering with unstable intent. And now, for the first time, there was something waiting for them. The framework. Invisible to the eye, but woven into the space itself. A quiet offering. A path toward balance, toward structure, toward something more than chaos. Jacob stood at the center of it, his breathing steady, his focus absolute. “Here they come,” Lira said under her breath. “I see them,” Jacob replied. The presence spoke. Multiple entities entering interaction range The entity added. “Behavioral divergence expected.” Jacob nodded. “Let’s see.” The first of the incoming distortions reached the outer edge of the framework. It pulsed
Chapter 152: the past
The horizon did not hold. It filled. Slowly at first, like mist gathering over water, the faint silhouettes continued to form. One became three, three became ten, ten stretched into dozens. Each figure wavered at the edge of reality before stepping forward and solidifying just enough to exist. Not fully alive. Not entirely gone. Something in between. Azrael stood his ground, his eyes scanning the growing crowd as his grip on Quinn tightened ever so slightly. His instincts told him to prepare for a fight. But nothing attacked. Nothing rushed him. Nothing even showed aggression. They simply… arrived. “…Yeah,” he muttered under his breath. “This is getting out of hand.” The woman beside him didn’t respond immediately. Her attention was fixed on the expanding field of figures, her expression sharper than it had ever been. “This isn’t supposed to happen,” she said quietly. Azrael smirked faintly. “You keep saying that.” Her gaze flicked to him briefly. “And you keep maki
Chapter 151: Echoes That Refuse to Fade
Chapter Title: Echoes That Refuse to Fade The wind did not settle. It grew. Not violently, not with the chaotic rage of a storm, but with a steady, deliberate increase that carried weight far beyond air in motion. It pressed against Azrael’s clothes, tugged lightly at his hair, and whispered across the open land with a tone that felt almost like a warning. Something had changed again. Not suddenly. Not sharply. But undeniably. Azrael stood still, his eyes fixed on the horizon as the feeling settled deeper into his bones. The world ahead looked the same, stretched wide and endless, but it no longer felt like something he could simply walk through. It felt like something that would answer back. “…You feel that too, right?” he asked. The woman didn’t hesitate this time. “Yes.” Her voice was quieter than usual, more focused. “It’s spreading.” Azrael exhaled slowly. “Yeah.” A pause. “Not just here.” His grip on Quinn tightened slightly. “Everywhere.” Quinn responded im
