His voice was swallowed by a deafening frequency explosion followed by a massive energy impact that threw his consciousness into a dark abyss that felt like thousands of years.

Jhonatan gasped his eyelids forced open. He panted his lungs feeling like they were on fire. As his vision began to focus he realized he was no longer in the middle of a crowd of Reapers. He was sitting on top of the tallest tower in Jakarta the roof of the Sky-High building whose peak pierced the grey clouds. The strong wind hit his face carrying a sharp smell of ozone.

"Hey you dog system. Can you hear me." Jhonatan shouted his voice hoarse cutting through the roar of the wind.

[Alpha System Performing emergency recovery. Current synchronization 88 Percent.]

"How much? Eighty eight. You almost got me killed just now. What was that laser huh. Why am I suddenly here."

[Warning Energy explosion from Inquisitor Valerius triggered a spatial anomaly. Host was moved to the highest point to minimize the impact of disintegration.]

"Disintegration my ass. My body feels like it is about to break bastard." Jhonatan tried to stand but his knees trembled violently. He could see the skin on his arms cracking emitting a wildly pulsating purple light. "It hurts so much you dog. What did you do to my body."

[Warning Excess energy accumulation detected. Alpha Core is experiencing overload due to the absorption of Valerius's armor and Gaia's Wrath energy.]

"So. You are just going to watch me explode into fireworks."

[Suggestion Immediately perform synchronization meditation. Host must stabilize the Alpha Domain or all body cells will be destroyed in 300 seconds.]

"Five minutes. You really want to drive me crazy." Jhonatan cursed then forced himself to sit cross legged on the edge of the helipad. "How do I do it. I have never learned meditation punk. Tell me how don't just spew statistics."

[Close your eyes. Focus on the energy flow in your spinal cord. Let the Alpha Legion merge with the main consciousness.]

"Okay okay focus focus Jhon. You cannot die here," Jhonatan muttered to himself. He closed his eyes trying to find a center in the storm of energy raging in his body. "Agh. Damn it. This is like asking me to hold lava with my bare hands."

[Warning Heart rate increasing drastically. Mental stability decreasing.]

"Shut up idiot. I am trying." Jhonatan snapped. "The pain is insane. It is like a thousand hot needles are dancing inside my veins. Hey system. Turn down the pressure a bit."

[Negative. Pressure is part of evolution. If Host fails data will be erased.]

"Erased? You talk so lightly. I have beaten monsters and soldiers. I am going to die because of a system update. No way." Jhonatan growled his teeth chattering. "Come on all of you. Legion Alpha or whatever your name is. Submit to me."

Suddenly the sky above the Sky-High building began to change. The grey clouds swirled into a giant vortex its color turning into a dark purple flashing with lightning. The lightning did not strike the earth but was sucked into Jhonatan's body instead.

"Whoa what now. System. Why is the lightning attacking me."

[That is not an attack. That is atmospheric resonance. Nature is reacting to the opening of a high level Alpha Domain.]

"Resonance my ass. I am getting electrocuted you dog." Jhonatan shouted as his body began to lift a few centimeters off the concrete floor. A purple light exploded from his chest illuminating the entire top of the building. "Aaaaaarrrggghhh. Hot. It is so hot bastard."

[Synchronization 91 Percent 93 Percent.]

"Come on keep going. Push it. Do not let up." Jhonatan started laughing insanely amidst his pain. "You want to destroy me. You will not be able to. I am the apex predator. I am the king."

[Error detected. Energy accumulation has reached a critical threshold. Risk of evolution failure 85 Percent.]

"Trash percentage. I do not care about your numbers. I decide whether I live or die." Jhonatan clenched his fist. "System. Force the synchronization. Use all my vitality reserves if you have to."

[Warning. That will shorten the Host's biological lifespan.]

"I do not give a damn. What is the point of a long life if I die right now. Do it hurry up. Full throttle."

[Command received. Activating Protocol Overdrive Alpha.]

An explosion of black energy erupted from Jhonatan's body forming a giant dome that enveloped the entire top of the building. The temperature around Jhonatan suddenly dropped to freezing point but at the same time his body radiated a heat capable of melting iron.

"Hah hah crazy. It feels like my soul is being pulled out and put back in through a keyhole," Jhonatan whimpered cold sweat mixed with blood dripping from his forehead.

[Synchronization 97 Percent 98 Percent.]

"A little more. Come on a little more. Do not let go."

[99 Percent 100 Percent. Alpha Synchronization Complete.]

Suddenly total silence enveloped the top of the building. The strong wind died down. The sound of lightning disappeared. Jhonatan opened his eyes and this time his world was completely different. He could see energy particles floating in the air. He could feel every heartbeat of living creatures within a five kilometer radius.

"Hey system. I feel weird. Why does everything look so slow?" Jhonatan asked his voice now calm but authoritative.

[Alpha Domain 'Territory of the King' has been formed. Host now has absolute control over limited physical laws in this area.]

"Absolute control? You mean I can do anything here?" Jhonatan stood up slowly. He moved his finger and a piece of concrete weighing hundreds of kilos suddenly floated following his hand movement. "Damn. It is really like magic. Cool."

[Domain area detected as a Safe Zone. Monsters with a level below 50 will not be able to enter the Domain radius without Host's permission.]

"Are you serious. So this building is now sterile from monsters." Jhonatan grinned widely. "Awesome. Finally I have a place to chill without having to worry about flying cockroaches or giant lizards."

Jhonatan walked to the edge of the building looking down. On the ruined city streets thousands of monsters that had surrounded the area suddenly stopped at an invisible border. They looked confused scared and slowly retreated away from the Sky-High building.

"Look at that Sarah Emma. Do you see." Jhonatan muttered to himself even though his comrades were not there. "I have built a fortress for us. Nothing can touch us here anymore."

[Warning. Alpha Domain is undergoing passive expansion. Consuming environmental energy.]

"Passive expansion? You mean it is getting bigger on its own."

[Correct. As long as the Host remains at the center point your territory will continue to expand.]

"Crazy. If this keeps up I can take over all of Jakarta just by sitting pretty here," Jhonatan chuckled feeling like a god on this concrete throne. "System what about The Reapers from earlier. Are they still around."

[Detection of residual Reaper energy Negative. They have been pulled back to their home dimension due to the synchronization interference you created.]

"Good. So that black face is back in its hole," Jhonatan cracked his neck. "Now all that is left is the problem of that fake Sienna. She said she is the creator of this system. Pfft what a show off."

[Suggestion Host is advised to immediately recover physical condition before further expansion.]

"Rest huh. Okay. I really need to sleep for a century after this," Jhonatan lay down on the helipad looking at the sky which was now starting to show a calm purple color. "But wait if I have a domain it means I can modify its contents right."

[Correct. Host can use evolution points to build structures or defense mechanisms within the Domain.]

"Awesome. I want to build a bar I want to build a swimming pool I want to build. Hey wait. Why do I feel something is wrong?" Jhonatan suddenly sat up again.

"Why are my fingertips getting more purple. Is not the synchronization one hundred percent."

[Warning. Synchronization has exceeded safety limits. Detected integration of the Alpha Legion personality into the Host's main consciousness.]

"Personality integration? You mean I am going to become someone else." Jhonatan started to panic again. "Hey. I do not want to be a robot or an alien like Valerius."

"Do not be noisy Jhonatan. We are one now."

A deep voice echoed inside Jhonatan's head but this time it was not the mechanical voice of the system. It was his own voice but with a much colder and emotionless tone.

"Who are you. Get out of my head you dog." Jhonatan held his head screaming loudly.

"I am the better you. I am the version of you that has no fear no doubt. I am the King you wanted to be."

"No. I am me. Jhonatan who has debts Jhonatan who likes to eat instant noodles. I do not want to be you."

"Do not use procedures. Fight him system. Kick him out of my brain." Jhonatan rolled on the floor the pain in his head feeling like his brain was being squeezed.

"It is useless Jhon. This system was made for me not for the weak you. You are just a vehicle and now it is my turn to take the wheel."

"NO WAY BASTARD." Jhonatan forced himself up his eyes now one purple and the other bright gold. "This is my body. This is my life. You are just a passenger and passengers are not allowed to drive."

Suddenly the area around Jhonatan began to shake violently. Energy cracks appeared in the air splitting reality around him. The safe zone he had built began to fluctuate wildly sometimes disappearing sometimes expanding at a terrifying speed.

[Warning. Alpha Domain is unstable. Risk of dimensional explosion.]

"Shut up System. I am sorting things out with myself." Jhonatan shouted veins popping on his face. "You want to take over. Come on show yourself. Fight me like a man in here."

"Hahaha you are challenging yourself? Interesting. Let us see who is more worthy of the name Jhonatan."

Suddenly Jhonatan's vision went completely white. He was no longer on top of the building but in an empty room of infinite size. In front of him stood a man whose face was exactly like his but wearing a jet black robe made of shadows.

"So this is you? The cool version of me?" Jhonatan mocked summoning his energy sword.

"I am reality Jhon. You are just a nightmare that will not wake up," the figure smiled coldly his hand raising a large scythe that radiated an aura of death.

"You talk big for a shadow. Come here."

Jhonatan lunged forward swinging his sword with full force. However the figure disappeared in an instant and appeared behind him.

"You are too slow Jhon. Alpha power is not just about muscle but about will. And your will is still too fragile because of that girl named Emma."

"Do not bring Emma's name into this bastard." Jhonatan spun his body releasing a wave of purple energy. "You do not know anything about her."

"I know everything. I know you care about her and that is what makes you weak. A King cannot have weaknesses. Let me erase her from your memory so you can focus on ruling this world."

"I SAID DO NOT TOUCH HER." Jhonatan went berserk his aura exploding to fill the entire white room. "If you dare touch her I will destroy this system along with you."

The shadow figure laughed out loud. "Destroy this system? You will not be able to. You are too in love with this power Jhonatan. You are hungry you are thirsty for dominance. I can feel it."

"Hungry? Yeah I am hungry. I am hungry to see you die." Jhonatan leaped high his sword enlarging to the size of a building. "System. Give me full authority. I want to delete this data right now."

[Personality conflict has reached its peak. Initiating forced fusion procedure.]

"Forced fusion. You mean I am going to merge with him."

"Yes Jhonatan. We will be one. No more weak you no more me just a shadow. We will be the true Alpha." The figure spread his arms letting his body turn into black smoke that began to envelop Jhonatan.

"No. Go away. GO AWAYYYYY." Jhonatan screamed with all his might but the smoke entered his mouth nose and eyes.

A pain thousands of times more intense than before exploded throughout Jhonatan's nerves. He felt his soul being churned in a giant blender. His childhood memories Sienna's betrayal his mother's death all mixed with cold data from the galactic system.

[Alpha Synchronization 105 Percent 110 Percent. Error. Capacity exceeded.]

Back on top of the Sky-High building Jhonatan's body began to change physically. His hair turned completely white and large black energy wings emerged from his back. His aura was so strong that monsters in the distance instantly died just from feeling his presence.

"Hah hah hah."

Jhonatan stood tall. His eyes were now pure silver without pupils. He looked at his hands which were now covered in pulsating gold lines.

"So this is what it feels like to be whole," Jhonatan said. His voice was now flat calm but every word he spoke made the air around him vibrate.

[Welcome New Alpha King. Status Stable.]

[Alpha Domain has been expanded to a 10 Kilometer radius.]

[New Mission Consolidate power and build your Iron Law.]

Jhonatan walked to the edge of the building looking at Jakarta which now looked like a toy miniature in his eyes. He no longer felt anger no longer felt vengeance. All that was left was a sense of absolute authority.

"System call Sarah and Emma. Tell them their palace is ready."

[Command received. Sending telepathic signal.]

However just as Jhonatan was about to turn around a small portal opened in the middle of the helipad. A little girl in a ragged dress came out. She was holding a teddy bear whose head was missing.

"Jhon?" the girl's voice trembled.

Jhonatan turned slowly. His pure silver gaze made the girl so scared she fell down. "Who are you? How did you enter my domain?"

"It is me bro. It is Emma."

Jhonatan narrowed his eyes. He tried to search for the memory of that name in his brain but the memory felt very distant as if covered by a very thick layer of ice. "Emma? That name sounds familiar. But I do not know you."

"Bro. Do not joke. It is me. You promised to protect me." Emma started to cry she crawled closer to Jhonatan.

"A promise? A King does not make promises to weak humans," Jhonatan said coldly. He raised his hand and a strong gravitational pressure pressed Emma to the concrete floor.

"JHON. IT HURTS. PLEASE." Emma screamed hysterically.

Jhonatan looked at Emma without expression. Inside his head the remnants of the old Jhonatan's consciousness tried to rebel but the cold voice of the Alpha Legion immediately suppressed it again.

"She is a weakness Jhon. Erase her now and you will be truly free."

"Yes she is a weakness," Jhonatan muttered softly. He aimed his palm at Emma's head a black energy ball starting to form there.

"I am sorry little girl. You are an unnecessary variable in this new world."

Just as Jhonatan was about to release his destructive energy a sniper shot was heard from a distance. The energy bullet hit Jhonatan's hand making it miss.

"JHONATAN. WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING. THAT IS EMMA IDIOT." shouted Sarah from the roof of the opposite building she was aiming with her sniper rifle tears streaming down her cheeks.

Jhonatan turned towards Sarah. A deadly thin smile appeared on his lips. "Sarah you came to surrender too? Or do you want to be erased too?"

"You are really crazy. I do not know what that system did to your brain but I will make you snap out of it even if I have to shoot you dead." Sarah pulled the trigger again.

Jhonatan caught the bullet with just two fingers. He crushed the bullet to dust. "Primitive weapons. You guys really do not learn."

Jhonatan flew towards Sarah leaving Emma still sobbing on the floor. "Let me show you how the law in my territory works."

As he approached Sarah the sky suddenly rumbled violently again. This time it was not lightning that appeared but thousands of Galactic Federation warships emerging from a wormhole right above the Sky-High building.

"Subject Jhonatan. You have violated the dimensional agreement. Surrender or we will perform total sterilization on this planet." Inquisitor Valerius's voice echoed again this time through the flagship's loudspeakers.

Jhonatan stopped in mid air. He looked up at the thousands of warships with a condescending look. "The Federation again? You guys are really thirsty for death."

Jhonatan spread his arms wide. All the buildings in Jakarta began to shake and the purple energy from his Alpha Domain began to expand passively at an absurd speed swallowing every inch of the city's land.

"You said you want sterilization? Go ahead and try." Jhonatan smirked his aura now turning into a pitch black that covered the entire sun. "Because in my territory even light—"
