Interior – Luz Holdings War Room – Two Hours Later

The screens were dark now. Only the soft hum of the generators filled the silence.

Mateo was alive. But for how long?

Alejandro stood at the center of the room, unmoving.

The storm behind his eyes was fierce, contained only by sheer will. Santiago paced like a caged animal.

Lucía sat in the corner, fists clenched so tightly her knuckles had turned white.

Camila leaned against the console, blinking away the burning behind her eyes.

“He gave us 24 hours,” Camila finally said. “But Joaquín doesn’t bluff. He’ll kill him.”

Alejandro’s voice was razor-sharp.

“He doesn’t want Luz Holdings. He wants control. Over me. Over Santiago. Over all of us.”

Santiago slammed his fist into the metal wall. “So what do we do? Let Mateo die?” the pain from the heat not really hurting him.

“No,” Lucía said, rising. “We fight.”

“How?” Natalia rasped from the doorway. She was bandaged now, but her face was pale.

The city skyline was cold steel under a moonless night. From the rooftop of Luz Holdings, Alejandro Jiménez stood like a commander surveying a battlefield yet to be drawn. The signal from Gabriel had disappeared, replaced by a single haunting message: “Let’s finish what they started.” As though they had been some bestfriends...Natalia stood beside him, arms crossed. “It’s bait.” She knew all of these.“Of course it is,” Alejandro replied. “But I’m not the one being lured.”She glanced at him. “You think Gabriel wants you to find him?” she asked trying to understand what he was saying.Alejandro nodded. “No. He wants Rafael to know that he found me first.” he had joint two and two together and had finally come to a conclusion.........Inside Luz Holdings – Strategic Command RoomLucía slammed a dossier on the table, frustration brimming. “Joaquín’s offshore accounts are ghosts. Gabriel stared into the mirror, watching his reflection with an eerie calm. His amber eyes glowed faintly under the dim clinical light. Scars crisscrossed his torso, scars of the past, reminders of years he couldn’t remember but his body never forgot. He didn’t flinch when Rafael stepped into the room. Why would he? He had seen enough to be scared of.“You said I wasn’t ready,” Gabriel said. “Why now?”Rafael approached him like a general inspecting a weapon. “Because the chessboard is full. The king is exposed. And you, querido hermano… you are the checkmate.”Gabriel didn’t answer. He stared again at the scars. And had his hands touch them as the memories flooded back. Not just reminders, blue veins traced his ribs like circuitry. Modified. Engineered.“Tell me everything,” he said. “All of it.”Rafael exhaled and leaned against the wall. “Very well.”Back Then – Gabriel's Creation “You weren’t born like the others,” Rafael said. “You were... designed. Not from nothing, but fr

He wasn't suppose to be here.“Rafael?” she whispered. He stepped forward, aged but unmistakable angular face, sharp eyes, Jiménez blood in every feature. The brother who had died in a cartel purge two decades ago. Buried. Burned. Hours After the Breach – Abandoned Train Yard Outside MedellínThe train yard was silent, moonlight spilling over rusted metal and old locomotives like a shroud. Somewhere in the maze of abandoned cars, Natalia Rojas was being held.Alejandro was crouched behind a stack of crates, he was scanning the terrain through thermal goggles. Beside him, Santiago adjusted the scope on his rifle. Lucía waited just behind them, gun holstered, her jaw tight.“She’s alive,” Santiago said.“You’re sure?” Lucía asked. He nodded. “I can feel it.”Alejandro kept his eyes forward. “No mistakes tonight. We extract her, grab intel, and get out before Ana turns this into a trap.” he didn't want mess ups.“She already has,” Camila said through the earpiece from the mobile van nearby. “There are no fewer than twelve heat signatures, and none of them are twitchy enough to be new recruits. These are trained.”“Mercs?” Santiago asked.“Better,” Camila replied. “Loyalists. Ana's personal guard.”Alejandro cli

Lucía, blood streaked across her temple from a grazing shard, clutched a pistol she barely knew how to use.Outside, the tactical squad advanced—silent, precise, methodical.Santiago scanned the attackers’ formation through the dust. Four men fanned at the entrance. Two flanked the side windows. One was on the roof, a sniper, he guessed. And one more… unaccounted for.“Stay here,” Santiago told Natalia.“No—” He grabbed her by the shoulders. “If you move, they’ll kill you. Let me handle this.”Natalia’s eyes met his—terrified, tear-filled—and nodded.Santiago turned to Lucía. “Can you shoot?”“Not well.”“Then aim low and stay angry.”Lucía gave a tight nod.Santiago burst from cover, rolling across the pews, his movements fluid and calculated.
