“Oh, really? That’s not what I saw when I looked around,” Director Pastaz ignored Xoom’s polite tone. “What I saw was a factory full of problems, and I think it’s time to shut it down!”

Pastaz kept shouting, “Even the most basic operation license is expired, and you haven’t renewed it. You think I wouldn’t find out?”

He pushed Xoom aside and marched toward the supervisor’s office. “I’ll check for myself whether your license is valid or not!”

“Director Pastaz! Don’t go in!” Xoom pretended to panic, trying to stop him, but Pastaz didn’t care. He flung the office door open so hard it slammed against the wall.

His face instantly turned cold. “Let me see all your operating permits!”

But his sentence was cut off. His mouth was open, but no words came out.

Inside the room, several people were seated. Pastaz didn’t recognize all of them, but he instantly knew who the man sitting calmly by the coffee table was, holding a stamp in his hand. Even if he were blind, he would know that

When Dixon returned, Diana was packing her things, her face clearly upset. “I wanted to stay with you a few more days, but my father said something urgent came up at the company, and I have to go back,” Diana said, turning to him. “If you’re done here, come back to Reddof, okay?” She had just received a call from William, who told her something important was happening that couldn’t be explained over the phone. There wasn’t much Diana could do, but her heart felt heavy about leaving. She put down the clothes in her hands, walked over to Dixon, and wrapped her arms around his neck. Her voice was soft as she said, “Dixon, I’m going to give myself to you, okay?” Dixon was silent. He looked at Diana, confused as to why she suddenly said that. He wouldn’t refuse, but he also wouldn’t force her if she wasn’t ready. He didn’t want Diana to do it just because she was afraid of upsetting him. “What’s wrong?” he asked with a small laugh, pulling her by the waist. “Are you still afrai

"Not the Mopp family? Then who?" Sameen asked in confusion. From everything Dixon had done—moving powerful families, dragging the Ganz family into chaos—it all looked like a strategy aimed at the Mopp family. Even if they couldn’t eliminate them completely, at least they could deliver serious damage. But Dixon said this trap wasn’t for the Mopp family. “It’s for me,” Dixon replied with a laugh, pointing at himself. “I dug this grave for myself.” Sameen grew even more confused. He stared at Dixon, unsure whether the man was drunk or rambling nonsense. A grand and complex plan… just to trap himself? “Mr. Dixon…” Sameen began to feel afraid. Dixon’s words made him feel like he was walking on a tightrope, one so thin it was barely visible. If Dixon hadn’t said anything, he never would’ve known this trap was meant for Dixon himself. “Pack your things and leave the north. If you don’t, you’ll die,” Dixon said. Sameen’s face turned pale. He was the one who leaked the inform

"Someone whispered to us... that the Ganz family had a falling out with the Mopp family. Even... that one of your family members was killed by them. That’s why we came here. We thought you would join us." "That’s right! We all have unfinished business with the Mopp family. If we unite, we can fight back! And with the Ganz family leading, we will all follow!" "The Roa family is ready to follow the Ganz family!" "So is mine! We support the Ganz family replacing the Mopp family as the strongest in the North!" Once one person spoke, the others followed. Someone had been spreading the word that Bizak had been killed by the Mopp family. But that information had not been made public, only a handful of people knew. And no one expected that he had died at the hands of the Mopp family. How could Nouh remain silent and not seek revenge for his brother’s death? In the past, powerful families had refused to unite due to their own interests. But now they had one common enemy—the Mopp fa

  • 579-Mr Nouh...

"You can't fool me. Your reaction just now confirmed my suspicion. I don’t believe that exiled son is truly dead," Beatrice said. Andreas had already suspected that the Dixon from Reddof had ties to the Edric family in the North. There was no other explanation for someone becoming that powerful in such a short time. Without the Edric family’s support, it would have been impossible to build a forbidden territory or enter the North with that much strength. It looked like the Edric family had planned this from the beginning to bring down the Mopp family. "I said he’s not!" Beatrice shouted. She grabbed Andreas's hand. "Listen to me, he’s not! He’s not!" "Enough!" Andreas shouted back. "Beatrice, how long do you plan to hide this from us? Because of you, the Mopp family has suffered serious losses. Do you realize that?" "If I had known he was from the Edric family, I would have killed him myself a long time ago," Andreas said. Beatrice’s face turned pale. She stared blankly at

  • 578-Dixon's Dead

"You don't trust me?" Dixon opened his eyes and pulled Diana’s hand to his temple. "My wife, how about we make a bet?" "A bet about what?" Diana asked, her curiosity piqued. She had never won a single bet against Dixon. But this time... maybe it would be different. Diana was sure that a company as massive as the Mopp family’s couldn’t possibly collapse in just a few days. Unless, of course, the world ended. "If you lose..." Dixon pulled her closer and whispered into her ear. Diana’s face turned red before he even finished his sentence. She tried to pull away, but Dixon held her tight. "Do you dare to bet?" Dixon smiled teasingly. "You've never beaten me." Diana clenched her teeth. Her face flushed even deeper. "Idiot! You're just trying to take advantage of me!" But after living together for so long, there wasn’t much left Dixon hadn’t already explored—except for one final boundary. "Fine! I accept the bet!" Diana shouted. "If you lose..." "I’ll do anything you ask,"

  • 577-Dixon Absolutely Confident

Even though Bumon had mentally prepared himself, his body began to tremble violently as he heard the declaration. He tried to sit up, but his body wouldn’t move. All he could do was writhe in bed, trying to express his rage and helplessness. Witan met his gaze with a look of pure triumph. This was revenge. “Mr. Bumon, what’s wrong?” Witan asked, pretending to sound concerned. “Are you feeling unwell? Should I call a doctor for you?” “Oh wait, I guess I can’t,” Witan muttered, patting his forehead. “Right, I almost forgot.” “Bumon,” Witan’s voice suddenly roared with anger. “As the head of the Zonda family, you were involved in numerous crimes. You conspired for personal gain and took what didn’t belong to you. Now everything has been exposed. You are under investigation, and no one is allowed to see you until the investigation is complete. That includes doctors!” Witan waved his hand, and several of his men entered the room. They lifted Bumon roughly from the bed. The pain
